VCA Rock Creek Animal Hospital Aloha, Washington

I have been nothing but happy with this veterinarian hospital! It's less like a clinic and more like a caring hospital for your pet. We unexpectedly found our sweet girl had passed during the night. They were so compassionate and professional to help my husband and I with the passing of our dog! When we had arrived they helped get her into the office, all the paperwork was ready for us to help make a difficult time a bit easier. The tech pet her like she was her own. It truly helped us leave her body knowing that she was in kind hands. They went above and beyond to wash our blankets we brought her in with and returned them to us. Thank you VCA! You all ROCK at the Rock Creek Hospital!!!

PSA, THIS PLACE DOESNT TAKE EMERGENCY CASES EVEN THOUGH GOOGLE SAYS THEY DO. The person was very personable on the phone tho.

I went to VCA with my ol doggo for a check up shots and a chat about her teeth. They went thro things in a simple manor explaining that her mouth was bad and I should do surgery. The genuine healthcare of my dog was more important than $$ and I was thankful of this. Three weeks later my dog had her surgery with 11!! teeth removed and a bad abscess dealt with. They took good care of her in surgery(Dr Wang) and she has recovered pretty fast no doubt to the good work she did. Money wise even tho I know the work was more than anticipated the bill was still within the original estimate which was nice. Thanks Guys

VCA is hands down the best vet hospital I have been to. My dog Sophie is 10 years old and has been going to VCA for a few years. They are amazing with her, they truly care about the animals they treat. Recently my dog had to have a mass removed off her leg. The recovery has been a little challenging but VCA has been there every step of the way. I cannot recommend them enough.

The front desk staff are always amazing. The vet Natassia Ruse is my favorite, she always is so caring I appreciate her honestly and professionalism. This was the first time I got Bob as a vet tech he was so friendly and kind. Thank you guys for the continued care you provide me all these years later with Raider.

had decent help in the past, but if you need immediate help go somewhere else, been trying to get my cat in for a week and was today invalidated in my concern and told i could wait three weeks for an appointment, which i will not be doing. probably best to try somewhere else

I am new to the VCA. I got a new rescue puppy and I knew there would be many appointments in my future. Turns out my new pup is full of hook worms. This is been a very scary process for me and they have been so responsive to all of my questions. They don't leave me hanging all day. Dr. Perez has amazing bedside manner and the best part is she educates me (she printed me up some handouts on the hookworms) and explains what signs she's looking for that WOULD make her concerned so I knew what to watch out for. This way I'm not stressing over every off stool. I'm already singing their praises to friends and family.

Doctor was insensitive and laughed when my pet was dying

My family has been taking our pets here for as long as I can remember and when I welcomed my first pet into my life I took her in to the folks at the rock Creek animal Hospital and she’s been going back ever since whenever something happens to come up. My pup Princess is almost 7 now and happy and healthy as can be :)

My Bassett Rosie was treated at Rock Creek Vet for her 15 yrs of life. I recently had to make the grueling decision with many tears for her to make it over the rainbow bridge. They were sooooo wonderful, empathetic and kind. Thank you so much with helping me with the grief you go through to make this decision.

Overall I have been very happy with the service my dog has received here and the doctors have been great. However, there are not enough urgent care appointments.

On 4/22 I brought my dog in for vaccines, I asked when I came inside to get him if he seemed ok because he had been acting very different not wanting to eat, sad , etc. The receptionist told me to ask the vet tech I asked him he handed me my dog chuckled, shrugged his shoulders and said I dont know I’m not a doctor and walked away. I feel it in my gut something is wrong with my sweet boy, he will be going to a new vet today...

They take such good care of my dogs, no matter what office I go to they uphold the amazing VCA standards. My dog that has anxiety even let's them cut her nails. They are such an amazing staff!

Our 3 year old Lynx Point cat, Lucinda was having some issues, over grooming to the point of causing sores, had mutilated her own tail, and was very withdrawn, among other issues. We took her to Dr. Elwood at VCA Rock Creek because it was where she was originally seen when we got her. We were treated kindly and with respect, and started Lucinda on the best course possible. About a month later, her tail is healed, her coat is healthy and shiny, and she's a very engaged, active, and healthy kitty again. We can't thank Dr. Elwood and the staff enough.

Our chihuahua Bailey seemed to be having trouble in her stomach and back area. We called our vet and they were not able to get her in because of emergency surgery they received. We then called Tanasbourne Emergency and they said we could come and wait in their parking lot for 4 hours and then they could help. I just couldn't picture waiting for 4 hours with an ailing dog so I called VCA and they told me to come over and call when we were in parking lot. I went over immediately and had to wait for about 10 minutes and then they said bring her into reception area. An assistant came out and took her back and I went back to car until the doctor called me with a what she found. They ran blood test first and since nothing really wrong, they took X-rays. X-rays showed possible liver or back disc. They have her a medicine that should help. The next day they called and said radiologist had looked at X-rays and thought pancreas was causing problem and to continue medicine. The vet called a few days later to check on her. I found this clinic to be excellent in procedure and last minute assistance.

The vets and the vet techs here are great! The Drs are kind and the vet techs are super knowledgeable and helpful-unlike the ones at banfield that never seem to know anything. The availability here is also way better. And they have urgent appointments available.

I absolutely recommend Sophia as a groomer! I had a hard time finding anyone who grooms cats & accepts new clients. Not only did VCA get us in, but they did it pretty quickly too. Prices were more affordable than I thought with a Vca. The real star was Sophia though, my girl wasn't grumpy when I picked her up and Sophia was kind enough to answer questions and give advice that was much needed to keep my kitty happy and looking gorgeous! We will definitely be back regularly! She smells and feels amazing!

Not following Oregon Law. Refusing me the Nexgard and Interceptor. Still within a year of exam, Oregon law also states vet's can waive the next 12 months. Not going to waste my breathe, I know they just want me to pay the expensive exam fee. My pup is healthier and happier than ever, even without the VETS RUBBER STAMP OF APPROVAL. I cannot express how amazing everyone here is. I used to take my dog to a different vet, but now will not take him anywhere else. They are so thorough with their communication and give you pricing before doing any procedures or prescribing meds. All the doctors and the office staff are so pleasant.

Very helpful staff. We have been taking our fur babies here for many years and consistently gotten top-quality care. Easy to work with.
