Tackett's Mill Vet is always a great experience for myself and my pet. Dr. Prime is excellent and has great communication and always takes the time out to answer any questions I have. Always easy to schedule appointments and the rest of the staff are extremely helpful. I highly recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a new vet!

This was my first visit to Tacketts Mill with my 17 year old cat. During this time of COVID, I was thrilled that Dr. Prime came outside to talk to me rather than calling me on the phone. She had reviewed my cat’s medical history and recommended a new treatment plan. She offered techniques I could use to administer the medication to my cat and asked if I had any questions. I received a call the next morning explaining the blood results. Dr. Prime and her staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I will continue taking my cat here. I highly recommend this practice.

Tacketts Mill Veterinary Hospital has always been our go-to spot for all of our dogs over many years. We know we can always depend on them to provide excellent customer service and care to us and our dogs! Highly Recommended!

This vet took great care of my 2 kittens Chaos and Eris I rescued from PWC Animal Shelter who were very sick. The vets office gave me an appointment immediately and treated them wonderfully, now they are on the road to recovery. Thank you to the staff and Dr. Prime!

So far is good,only used vet services,will do boarding and grooming next month so if anything changes ...we actually changed groomer to here,will be 1 st time,last one left cuts on my pup 2 times and I didn't like that

Everyone who works here is caring and professional. I have been taking my pets here for many years and they have never let us down. The vets ( and I love you Dr. Prime) are knowledgeable and compassionate in every way. I wish my pediatricians were as reliable. They answer questions and never act like it's a burden. All the staff make you feel like family. If I could give more stars I would.

Dr Harris and staff were great with our pup even when she tried to hide under the car! They calmed her down and gave her great care while we waited in the car. They gave complete instructions for care and supplied medication. I would highly recommend this veterinary practice.

Best vet in Lake Ridge.

I'm not sure I can write a raving enough review to express how much I love this office. From the front desk, to vet techs, to Dr. Prime; everyone is so kind and compassionate. I took my pitbull there for almost 10 years before we sadly had to let him go due to a worsening brain tumor. He wasn't the nicest dog, and they knew that and never treated him any different. I changed to them when he was a year old after his original vet suggested putting him down due to his behavior. Dr. Prime helped give me realistic options to get his behavior under control, and never even hinted at such an extreme option. They were so accommodating with his aggressive disease and adjusting his meds when needed if I couldn't get in for an appointment. I'll forever be thankful for their compassion towards the end of his life ????

Very accommodating veterinary care, with a very kind staff and great vets! The location is great, and Dr. Prime was so helpful. As a new person in town I am glad to have found a neighborhood veterinarian that is affordable and provides great service.

Best Vet experience ever! Dr. Prime and her staff did everything to help my cats from care to weight loss concerns and made sure that I understood everything. They were extremely kind and helpful and the pricing was reasonable. The time spent with me was beyond expectations. Really everything was. I cant recommend them enough. If you need a travel certificate, they are excellent with that as well.

We are so grateful for the compassion and concern that the staff showed for our two cats. The staff was kind and answered our many, many questions and provide guidance and reassurance for our pet's health issue. Due to COVID, we were unable to go into the office, but staff provided frequent updates on how the cats were doing during the exam.
