My dog (Maggie) and my 2 cats (Summer and George) were all patients at Old Bridge Veterinary Hospital for over 22 years. Sadly, they have all passed (George at 17 years, just 3 weeks ago). The staff and doctors are ALL top-notch and knowledgeable…compassionate and caring. We are in the process of adopting a new kitten and wouldn’t think of going anywhere else for her care!!! They mad me muzzle my dog even after they had us sedate her. She is just hyper not aggressive. You can get her to do anything with T.R.E.A.T.S

I've been taking my feline baby to Old Bridge Vet for almost 10 years. It's always been a pleasure to work with such an amazing staff and even better doctors. Unfortunately, I don't think we will be returning after the awful treatment today (saturaday september 18th, 2021). We noticed something wrong with my baby's eye so we took him in; the doctor said that it was glaucoma and that this is something URGENT but that we had to take him to a place where he could be given medication and said that she would call ahead so that they were aware that we were coming. We were worried but felt safe and sure of our doctor. When we get to the other place, which was a one hour drive away, we were told that nobody had called ahead and therefore we could not be seen because they're at full capacity. We called Old Bridge to ask what happened and ask for help and we get a "the doctor is not here anymore" from Michelle. Seeing as the doctor herself said that this was an emergency, we freaked out and asked her to please contact the doctor because otherwise our cat would not get the medication that he clearly needs. The person on the phone kept on saying that would not contact the doctor, and filed a complaint report from us where she says that we told her they don't care for their patients (honestly, how could you not reach out to the doctor for a mere second? if you can't see that we are terrified and choose to do nothing, then no, you do not care) and that we threatened to take it out on her which is the most unfair and disrespectful thing to say seeing as we were CRYING from desperation and BEGGING her to get in touch with the doctor's because we are terrified for our baby's eyesight. We also saw on the doctor's report that she suggested that we go to the urgent medical center (which we did immediately and it's where we're been parked for the last two hours hoping to be given a slot) but claims that we weren't convinced simply because we asked if it would be too expensive; we cannot believe the way they handled this situation. We've been calling emergency hospitals and emergency ophthalmology centers ALL DAY but most are closed or full and only have appointments in three months' time. Had the doctor done what she said was going to do and had they CARED enough, my baby would have his medication while we wait to get treated and taken care of by a specialist. Now we are PRAYING that somebody can see us.

Provide customers with covid 19 information prior to appointments..

Brought my Pom here back in February and the vet was very rude. She said these exact words: “She’s wasting away and you need to put her down.” Talk about being insensitive. She knows our pets are our family...the vet needs to work on tact. This place is horrible and also did not forward my pets records when we requested, causing me to have to pay $300 for another exam at VCA. Good luck if you decide to bring your pet here. If you love your pet, I suggest finding another place.

I tried to get an appointment for a 5 week old kitten that was found outside. They had nothing available for a week and asked for a deposit. I declined the appointment and they still called me 2 days later telling me about a cancelation.

Dr. Scott was Amazing!! Answered ALL questions and concerns I had; she was SUPER friendly and SUPER attentive. Go to Dr. Scott (Great Scott!!!! Back to the future voice, haha). Overall, DR. SCOTT is the Vet to go Too!!

Best Veterinary hospital. They were there for our Cat of 20+ years. They gave so much love and care for our family pet on her last day on this earth.

Old Bridge was our vet for many years until our family cat's passing at the age of 17. The practice was always courteous, well-run, and skilled in his care, but it wasn't until the end that I knew how fortunate we were to have them help us through the most difficult loss and grief. The compassion of everyone in the practice -- from the people answering phones to the vet techs -- was evident. They truly care about animals and the people who love them. I cannot thank them enough for the dignity and care they showed us and our cat, to make this incredibly sad event bearable.

Love my dogs vets!!! This is a special group of people. They LOVE my dog, and treat him like a little prince when we go there. Highly recommend them!!!!

This place is unbelievable, they double charge you and make you go for unnecessary exams and bloodwork for your pets (as if it wasn't already stressful enough for the animals) will "suggest" things you didn't ask for and double charge you for things they don't do (like taking your pet for a vaccine and not getting it because it's too soon, and still charging you for literally telling you that, and on top of it, charging you back a few days after when they apply the vaccine), and on top of it, tell you the dog can't get two vaccines together, when the breeder and animal rescue group say they've had at least 1000 dogs under their group and never heard of this before. Do you and your furry loved ones a favor and stay away from this vet!

They were wonderful. We love our dog so much. They were very friendly and accommodating. We took Leo again today because I have had so many concerns being a first time puppy mom without my mom always present. We have had several other family animals here throughout the years. This has been more difficult than with both of my children. The staff were all patient and thoroughly answered my million questions about my baby. They even dressed him up in a little costume and brought us a polaroid picture of him smiling in a cowboy hat. I was a little anxious about him going in alone because he can be skiddish with new people, but he immediately took to the staff.

I write this review on behalf of Mr. German Morales, who took his dog Rocco for blood work and did not received the services he requested. He paid $250.00 to have blood work on his dog, and was not provided with the results, and when he asked to get his money back, he was told they couldn't do that. He never received Rocco's blood work, did not get a call back to discuss the work done, and was not given any other answers. He was extremely upset and asked to speak with Dr. Angela Scott and was pretty much dismissed and the person on the phone hung up on him, not wanting to hear him out. He felt discriminated and targeted only because he spoke with an accent, and he wasn't given any answers, did not get his dog's results and any explanation on why he couldn't be allowed to get his money returned when services were not rendered. This is not how a veterinary hospital should treat anyone or their clients. I will not recommend this place to anyone. German A. Morales

Oldbridge is so reliable and professional that we drive from downtown DC to take our dog and cat there when they’re in need of a vet visit. The staff at Old Bridge are friendly, and the vets are thorough and willing to spend time with you to explain and respond to your questions in a professional and courteous manner. They don’t rush you in and out or make uncomfortable sales or up charge pitches. They’re also extremely affordable and their pricing is more than fair. Can’t recommend this vet enough!

I took my cat to the vets today for a general checkup. Dr Love saw her and took care of her. It was the first time my cat started purring with a Dr. Some good advice and recommendations were given as well.
