Middle Plantation Animal Hospital Williamsburg, Virginia

This is my second pet that I have taken to MPAH. No waiting at all, went straight back. Staff is friendly and both the vet tech and the doctor were doting and friendly to Daisy (K9.) Very thorough and took their time. Front desk staff were friendly and even though there was a charge mix up, it was fixed promptly when discovered.

Professional, knowledgeable and wonderful with my dog.

I have switched to MPAH they will do total care and boarding of my Angel Baby.They go the extra mile !

Our cat gets very stressed out at the vet but our vet at Middle Plantation is so kind and gentle! We trust them 100% and they have always provided top notch quality and care.

I never went there but when I called and got prices for a couple of basic procedures I decided not to make an appointment. Expensive compared to the vet I'm currently going to. They were very pleasant on the phone and probably a good vet but we have to think of prices.

They were amazing with my dog. Very thorough, attentive and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

When my puppy had a UTI, I called every animal hospital it the area to see if she could be treated. They were all booked for weeks. MPAH new it was urgent and squeezed us in. When my other dog was having skin issues, I knew I could rely on them again. I will never take my dogs anywhere else. I’ve had some bad experiences with vets where I leave with a massive bill of tests and no explanation as to what is wrong with my dog. I’ve paid $900 for a gas bubble before. Here I know I won’t be overcharged and they ask before they do, so you have time to question whether or not you can cover it that visit. They give you several treatment options and give you the choice. They’re very thorough, knowledgeable and caring. I absolutely recommend this place as it’s hands down the best vet around. Five stars just isn’t enough.

It's hard to judge this experience during Covid as anything but average. The Vet is very detailed in his explanations via phone.

Having never been there with my animal I cannot State positively that they are a great Animal Hospital however the person that I talked to on the phone to try to make the appointment was extremely nice pleasant and professional other than that I have no other information but being as how I'm verbose I decided to post this LOL

This is the best vet clinic that I have ever been to. They will take good care of your Animal like it was one of their own. The staff Is very professional And will make you feel like your pet is in good hands. I would Recommend them to anyone. Thank you Middle Plantation For taking care of my dogs over the years.

Always a pleasant experience here!!! The staff is great with my pup and the doc is friendly and does a great job of explaining things to me. I also love that I get detailed bill emailed to me so I know exactly what I'm paying for. I can definitely recommend them!!!

2nd trip here wonderful place

We had been taking our dog here for over two years. We recently moved to the other side of town and sought out a different vet for convenience and proximity. We were not pleased with the experience and shortly thereafter something came up with our pup. We called Middle Plantation and they fit us in the same day to take care of our baby. They truly care about their patients and we have decided it is well worth the extra time on the drive for the excellent care provided at Middle Plantation.

We moved into the area two years ago and immediately looked for a vet for our beagle. Middle Plantation was right down the road, so we decided to try them out. Dr. Harrell saw our dog every time and he was always gentle, knowledgeable and very thorough in his care. Yesterday we rushed her to them because she obviously wasn't doing well. They very quickly assessed the problem and informed us she needed surgery. After starting the procedure, they discovered the tumor had spread and there was nothing that could be done. Before we could make a decision, with Dr. Harrell's guidance, she passed. We're absolutely heartbroken, but we know that Dr. Harrell did everything he possibly could and his staff were there, caring and loving her because we could not be. With all of the crazy restrictions, we couldn't be there with our girl in her last moments and that is really ripping our hearts out, but we know that they were there with her and that somehow makes it a little easier. She was 11 and we had raised her from a puppy. We couldn't be with her at the very end, but we know she passed no longer in pain and peacefully and we have Dr. Harrell and his staff to thank for that.
