The staff and doctors treat our Aussiedoodles and new Bernedoodle puppy like part of their family. I have been taking my pets to Colonial Veterinary Clinic for over 30 years and wouldn’t trust our furry family to anyone else.

Positive and friendly staff with reasonable prices.

I was stuck in the parking lot with a dead battery on a cold, snowy day. Clinic members reached out to help by trying to jump-start my car. Dr. Garman offered her car as a refuge. Snacks and water were available. I was very touched by the concern and kindnesses showed..

Had my first appointment with my new puppy and loved everything about Colonial Vet. The vet had time to answer my questions and concerns. You can tell the whole staff loves animals.

We feel truly blessed to have found such a wonderful& caring staff for both of our pups! Dr. K has been outstanding with our Charlie’s diabetes issues and got Marlee back on track with eating, etc.. We never feel like “just another number” when we are there. Everyone is extremely welcoming and pleasant which makes us feel super special. Thank you for all that you do to care for our babies.

I took my puppy, Samantha, to Colonial Veterinary Clinic for an emergency visit after she ate a strip of staples. Dr. Houghton and her staff were all amazing--professional, proactive, reassuring. The staff had an estimate prepared before I even arrived at the clinic, which help set my mind at ease. I really appreciated that they combined Samantha's well check and vaccinations (which had been schedule for the following week) with the emergency visit. That saved me quite a bit of money and time. I don't think my former veterinarian would have done that. Sam is okay now, and we don't have to worry thanks to the clinic's thorough, yet conservative care. They never pushed me to do unnecessary procedures, but did everything prudent to ensure her safety. The bill was about half of what I would have expected. What a relief during a very stressful time. Thank you!

NOTE: I am updating the following review from 4 to 5 stars after having experienced the quick and extremely smart process of seeing patients that Colonial Vet established in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. This process would not have been successful however, without the kindness and efficiency exhibited by each and every one of Colonial Vet’s staff! Initial review: We have been bringing our pets to Colonial Vet for over 20 years. We were blessed to have experienced firsthand Dr. Sullivan’s knowledge and true love and compassion for animals, as well as Dr. Mangelsdorf’s skill and thorough diagnoses. Now, we are fortunate that the practice was passed on to the very capable and caring hands of Dr. Kronlein. He has helped our family through a very difficult diagnosis with our older dog, Sammy, who is now playing like his younger self. :-) Though he was extremely busy, handling the practice on his own while interviewing potential partners, Dr. Kronlein never failed to personally follow-up with us when we had questions or concerns. A super attentive and compassionate staff! Knowledgeable and supportive they deliver great care!

We moved here 18 months ago and tried Colonial Vet on a recommendation. We have been very happy with them. They are very thorough and caring with our dog. On our first visit, they made several recommendations regarding his food which proved very helpful in resolving some digestive issues he had been having. I would highly recommend.

I have been taking my dogs & cats to Colonial Clinic for the last 18 years. First under Dr Sullivan and now Dr K. Their service and care has been outstanding across the board. Equally important, they have never tried to gauge me with $ for their care.

We are really happy with Dr. Garmin and all of your front line staff are very nice. We are concerned about the amount of time between needing an appointment and actually seeing the doctor. We have no idea how that could be improved.

I don't even know where to begin. If you are looking for an amazing veterinary clinic look no further. I am still trying to pick my jaw off the floor from the exceptional way my dog and myself were treated at Colonial Veterinary Clinic. We saw Dr. K. for the first time and he was knowledgeable, compassionate, responsive, straight shooter, honest, and so so loving. Brooke the vet tech was amazing too she was attentive, compassionate, and so sweet. Everyone I had talked to on the phone when I would call were all amazing too. They helped me find help for my dog before we were even seen by them when my own vet office I went to for over 7 years sent us on our way after my dog went immobile in four days. I can't be happier to have found someone that cares for my dog despite her disability as much as I do. I will recommend you to anyone I come across. Thank you Thank you Thank you. The Vets at Colonial and the staff are always friendly, caring and loving towards our animals. We have used them for years. We also board our animals when we go away.

I have relied on Colonial Veterinary since I moved to Williamsbury in 2010 because all my new neighbors recommended their service. They carefully guided me through a serious diabetic problem with Molly. and just recently quickly diagnosed and cured the Pancreatitis that caused Ginger to have non-stop diarrhea, to stop eating and drinking .

They make you and your dog at home when you are there.

Dr K and Dr Garman are wonderful vets. They go out of their way to help during crises and are great with communication, often calling after office hours to check in with patients. When one of our pets died unexpectedly earlier in the year, Dr. Garman was so sympathetic and responsive to our needs. And just recently while we were on vacation, Dr. K responded to a "cry for help" via text when our puppy had a medical emergency. Even though he was on vacation himself, Dr. K responded, steered us to the medication we needed and checked in with us the following day to see if all was OK. Talk about incredible service! Our favorite vet in the area

Colonial Vet clinic is amazing! We go to them for all our annual needs but, until this week, hadn't had a need to go for a sick pet visit. I used the app and wrote out the details we were having at 8:30 pm on Sunday evening and they called me at 7:30 am to get us in on Monday morning. Red typically sees Dr. K (and we have nothing but great things to say about him) but this time we saw Dr Garman and she was amazing as well!! Her assistant Leslie was also super-patient, caring and professional and Harlee at the front desk was the same. Thank you CVC, Dr. Garman, Leslie and Harlee - you guys are rock stars!!! I was very impressed with the care my dog Kate received when she became ill. It was obvious that Dr. K and the entire staff were all committed to giving Kate the best care possible and now she is back to her usual bouncy, friendly self.

Our dogs have been patients at Colonial Veterinary Clinic for a very long time. We have received excellent care from Dr. Sullivan (retired), Dr. Kroenlein, and all of the staff. Our dogs had complicated health challenges in their golden years which we couldn't of been able to get through without his expertise. I will tell you that Dr. Kroenlein is very knowledgeable, thorough, and always spends time with us on appointments. He is excellent at explaining everything and answers my questions. His staff is outstanding and professional. Everyone is so nice and they really care about your pets. Communication is excellent.

Dr Kroenlein and the entire qualified staff take extraordinary care of my sweet dogs. Colonial Vet Clinic is a professional, considerate and experienced team.

I absolutely LOVE Colonial Vet Clinic! They have always treated my pets so well and their prices are very fair. Dr. K always offers multiple options if I have to invest in treatment so I never feel backed into a corner with my decisions. His recommendations are generally very conservative and easy to manage. The entire staff makes me feel welcome and I trust them to assist me in providing a long and happy life for my pets. I don't think I'll ever take my babies anywhere else!
