Godspeed is an awesome veterinarian clinic with extremely knowledgeable and caring veterinarians and staff. Always willing to go the extra mile for your pet. I have had 2 dogs and 2 cats cared for there and couldn't be more satisfied. Highly recommended.

Great pet care and fun experience for my spoiled pet. The rooms are equipped to handle large dogs with ease. They are accommodating and work to fit you in. The staff is friendly, organized, and knowledgeable.

Really loved the clean and open atmosphere. There were a lot of dogs heard barking and whining I believe because the Vet is in a separate building than boarding and grooming - which made for a pleasant visit. Loved how caring the doctors and staff were to my puppy.

Dr Cohen and Tyler took great care of our old girls (Kiwi) appointment this week. She wasn't feeling and they figured it out, really took the time to understand and help us. Dr. Cohen has been great and consistent since we started to bring our 2 dogs to Godspeed, back in March. Thank you.

I brought my baby cat Riley in today to be seen for what I thought was an infection in his eye. He’s basically my child so of course I’m freaking out and sobbing calling every vet in my area (I’m in Newport News) hoping I can bring him in right away. After being turned down by multiple vet offices and emergency clinics my boyfriend called Godspeed and we immediately knew we’d be taking our kitty there. The two ladies at the front (I’m bad with names but I believe one was named Kim and the other lady I talked to said she had been with the company for 15+ years) were both so kind and welcoming. They told me they’d fit my baby boy in and to bring him in immediately. All of the staff that I interacted with were very kind as well. I waited for less than 5 minutes for someone to take Riley back. The doctor called me after seeing Riley and explained everything that was going on. He didn’t make me feel rushed for asking him questions and made sure I was reassured that my baby was in good hands. I won’t take my cat anywhere else after the wonderful experience I had with their whole team. I will be recommending them to every pet parent I know!

As a new resident in Williamsburg with a temperamental cat, we are so grateful for the unique love that was shown to our family and more importantly, our cat, so that he didn't react negatively. We've taken our dogs here for routine visits for the past 3.5 years and have always been pleased with the service and care we/they receive. Recently, we had to bring our dog in for stitches removal after an emergency surgery that took place at another vet (out of Godspeed's hours). Dr. Marr took the stitches out and expressed her concerns/helped us come up with a plan for healing since the wound didn't look great at first. She was SO helpful to us in the healing process of our dog's tail and the office called us in between appointments to check with how our dog was healing. This meant a lot to us as we were worried about the healing and we appreciated their care for our dog specifically. Definitely recommend and can tell they love our dogs and are always kind and sweet to them.

Everyone is wonderful! Godspeed Animal Care is the vet I use for my dog and St. Francis Pet Resort is who I use for boarding. My dog loves to come to the vet and boarding with them. They are all professional staff who care about the animals and their human clients. While pricing might be slightly higher that some other places, you certainly get the investment in knowledgeable and professional staff. Their response to COVID-19 has been great too!

I have three dogs the in order to be seen as patients they had to get a “wellness check” including a fecal test for each dog check. $800 dollars later the vet calls me and says all three dogs blood and fecal were negative. I was told one of the dogs had to get a tooth pulled. $757 dollars later and thinking the dogs were ok to get groomed there I call to get an appointment for grooming. I was informed that one of the dogs had no fecal test and that I have to pay $5 extra for that dog. I called the office manager telling her that the vet told me differently and that I expected this be done on the day they are going in to get groomed. Making everything difficult and only worrying about how much they are going to charge when I request to speak to the vet I am told he does not take calls. This is a VERY expensive vet and the service is awful.

So I’ve been to multiple veterinarians in this area but the quality and treatment of my Marcus/dog at Godspeed was by far the best. He is half pit half shepherd and looks very intimidating but is an absolute sweetheart. Others have muzzled him and treated him like an animal but Godspeed treats him like family. They love him at both the clinic and daycare. He and I both look forward to our future visits.

The people that work at Godspeed are very caring. It was our first visit and they assured me that all would be good and they would work with our dog and his aggressiveness towards other pets. They are amazing and I would highly recommend to anyone!!!

Our pets have always gotten excellent care by Dr. Britt Cohen. Most recently our older Schnoodle, Rylee, had dental cleaning. Dr. Cohen and his staff were very reassuring, responsive to our questions and concerns, and even followed up after the procedure to make sure she was okay. We also love their groomers! In our opinion, Godspeed Animal Care, is a jewel in our community.

Very unprofessional receptionist. I was calling to talk to my dogs vet about questions to do with her allergies and was informed that I would have to pay the exam fee to speak with him over the phone. Then when I told Brenda the receptionist that that is ridiculous for me to have to pay an exam fee just to speak with my dogs vet, she hung up on me. Great vets but horrible front end staff. Will never go back to this vet because of the unprofessionalism I received today. Also instead of being able to talk to someone who actually has some integrity, they just email you and side with their employees.

I brought my dogs in for their annual exam including heartworm in July but apparently there was a mistake and while it says heartworm was done it was not. So they refused to fill my heartworm meds in Dec and stated I would have to bring them in and pay for another visit and exam fee over the holidays when again it was their error. Secretary then gave me attitude stating I should have a month left of meds... I bought 6 mo of meds and its been 6 months. It's simple math I need my refill for month 7. So now I have to find a vet between christmas and new years in between travel to pay for a second annual exam to keep my dogs on their heartguard. Now I don't even know what in their records is correct after I spent hundreds there in the summer.

Took our GoldenDoodle there for physical therapy after knee surgery. Tracy was AWESOME!!! She is very knowledgeable and really cares about your pet's progress. It was great getting weekly updates and watching our dog get better. He actually loved going to PT and is back to 100%. Highly recommend Tracy for your pet's PT

We left our family dog there this past week while on a trip because she doesn’t handle car rides well. And the staff forgot to feed her not once, but twice. Which seems difficult to do considering we even wrote out “Monday AM” and “Monday PM” on each bag for each day of the week. That way when we received three bags of food back and we only gave them one extra just in case, we could plainly see she wasn’t fed all day Friday. On top of that, we were overcharged for administering medication. We included the medication with the necessary feedings and were then charged a fee for every day of the week. Clearly they didn’t even pay attention to what they were feeding her because she only received medication for three of those days. My daughter and son in law were considering leaving both their dogs there for our next trip, but after this display of absolute negligence we won’t even be returning ourselves. What sad and gross treatment of our poor dog.

Great local vets ,staff. We have used boarding, rehab and medical care. Specialty vets are not anywhere near Williamsburg.
