I went last week my second time The place had at least 10 dogs and there were only two people taking care of all of them . the dogs were in the bath others just around, some in kennels and there was dog hair everywhere. Very dirty stressful for the dogs my baby hate it and every things was in disarray. They do not clean after each dog there were piles of dog hair .after 5 hours my baby look horrible ans very stressed .

When I moved, I was excited to find a groomer so close to my home that did cats. I called ahead to see when they usually scheduled cats, because every groomer I have EVER been to does not like to schedule cats WITH dogs (for obvious reasons), or at least keeps them segregated while they groom them. They told me Friday. Pros: They actually did a decent cut. The staff was friendly. They let you drop off your pet all day which is accommodating for people who work. Cons: -They told me my cat would be ready by 5:30. I walked in and they still had him on the table (he had been there since 8am- so 9 hours later). -Two people had to hold him down while they groomed him, because there were 2-3 big dogs in the same room barking at customers/at each other. My cat is usually so chill with getting groomed, but he was stressed out and meowing in the middle of the dog chaos. -The grooming table is in the middle of the room where everyone is walking by and there are kennels filled with dogs 5-6 feet away. Dogs are being walked through the same room as their owners come to pick them up. -It was loud and hectic, so he went straight into the cat carrier without even being wiped/brushed down. Now I have fur throughout my living room. -When I asked about the cat schedule because I was surprised about the chaos, I got a dismissive response. That it was the best time to bring a cat in (for them I guess, because my cat would disagree) and they can't schedule/ know what dogs will bark (or something to that affect). The dismissiveness was the 1-star review for me. Sorry, other places have figured out how to arrange a schedule around cats and dogs. Other places have also separated the kennels from the grooming table from the waiting area. Might be a great place to take your dog. I don't think they should market doing cats. Like I said, his cut was decent. But nothing was worth stressing him for 9 hours in a place that chaotic. And my heart was breaking seeing him pinned down to keep him still- when he just lays there when other groomers have worked on him.

First and only time to go to this groomer. My dog's cut is uneven and they missed a lot of places that needed to be cut. They did not cut in places I asked them to cut and they cut in places I specifically asked them NOT to cut. You can see in the pictures how obvious and uneven her cut is. Such a waste of money and now I will have to pay even more money to get her haircut fixed by another groomer.

My poor dog got a very bad haircut and the place was dirty. Will NOT be going back!!!

The folks did a great job with the dogs. The lady in charge was a bit loud and the dogs had to stay all day. Their intake was 8 -9:30. The dogs were not finished until 4:30. Being apart from us that long traumatized them a bit. It took a day for them to return to normal. Would recommend the place for grooming but modify the intake time.

Very fast and affordable nail clipping. I took away one star because they cut the quick, but it was probably our fault for waiting too long and letting her nails grow out too much. Good service! They only take cash though.

Excellent service ????‍???? courtesy. Never bother with petco or any of those big names you have to walk through before getting to the groomers. Professional clean and knowledgeable.

Lynn was great! I took my two pittie mixes in for a nail trim. My girl is very easy going so I took her in first. I saw there were a few other dogs in the shop and decided I would wait to get my boy's nails done since he can be dog-reactive. Lynn was having none of that. She assured me that it would not be a problem and took my boy Enzo confidently thru the shop, passing by the other dogs. Her skill, confidence and gentle control resulted in my dog remaining calm and not even barking at the other dogs. I will use her again anytime I am in Williamsburg! Also, $10 for a nail trim is a deal!

We used Clip It Up today for the first time and we were very disappointed. They had our dog from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm, which is much longer than we were accustomed to with our former groomer (who retired). The price was quite a bit higher than we paid with our former groomer and they simply didn't do a good job. His nails were clipped raggedly and one was clipped too short and was bleeding when my husband picked him up. Neither the owner nor her young employee (a 16 year-old girl) mentioned that our dog was bleeding; my husband discovered it when he put him in his vehicle. His haircut is very uneven. He has a lot of stray hairs, patches of longer hair, and some areas where he's almost bald. In eight years of grooming, this is the worst haircut our dog has had but the young girl asked my husband for a tip. Clip It Up was recommended by friends and neighbors and unfortunately for us, the experience we had was not the same that others have had. I suspect that he was groomed by the 16 year-old rather than the owner. We'll be looking elsewhere for a new groomer.

I have used them many times they do a great job and care about pets. They get to know your dogs personality.

This place is amazing! I have 3 dog's, one of which is an American bulldog that I can't take anywhere because when he gets scared he gets mean and he's like 140 lb so that's not good. The girls here know how to take care of him and not be scared of him! Seriously the only place I have ever found that does that! Price is great too!

She cuts a Scottie like it should be cut doesn't make it look like a Schnauzer. They all love dogs and treat them almost as well as you do.

It very affordable I went there for my husky and he has long hair that gets matted and tangled easy and it wasn't expensive at all and my dog loves them too

Owner does not understand a verbal agreement, nor professional courtesy to inform a party when they have decided to dafault on an agreement.

Shaves cats! That's so hard to find, and she did a great job. I'll be a regular.

Super friendly and great with our three dogs despite them being jerks every time about being groomed. (The jerks being our dogs)
