I've been to many Banfield Hospitals. The staff here is beyond incredible. They are caring, loving, considerate, and above all, compassionate. They call the day after any appointment to check on your pet, even if it was just a routine appointment. Caysee at the desk is phenomenal. 10/10. Would definitely recommend.

I didn't go to the pet hospital . We went to browse the pet store and we picked up some flea meds for our cats . Nice selection of Critters this time .

Wow! I went to drop my spouse's pup off and bc I wasn't on the account, they would not move forward until my spouse called and ok'd it. The pup received the vaccinations and it took less than an hour and half... Thank you for adhering to your policy.

Very compassionate personal work there as my dog past away early this year but happy to inform them we got a rescue dog and we went back to have all care done thru Banfield.

This is the email I sent to corporate office: Good Day, I just wanted to leave some feedback on my recent experience with the Williamsburg, VA Banfield location. In years past I have been satisfied above and beyond with the quality of customer service and care provided, but my recent experience with my new pet was unfortunately less than satisfactory. While I believe that my pet was well taken care of, and the customer service that was provided was also excellent, I felt like I was being mislead with certain information regarding the care that would be provided. I have been to both Banfield in Williamsburg and PAL in Richmond, and seeking the convenience of a local practice whom I trusted in the past with previous pets, I decided to go with the former. But in comparing the two, PAL has consistently provided the care that was stated and explained prior to our scheduled appointments, while Banfield has added additional care and charges that I personally feel were not necessary (I understand they are highly beneficial, but as I am furloughed from my place of employment, I cannot afford the fullest amount of care). I have chosen at this time to continue my pet's medical care at the PAL in Richmond as they have recently scheduled my pet to get fixed (everything included) for a fraction of the cost that Banfield was going to charge (not including charges for additional care/multiple appointments). Understand that my frustration comes from the fact that through 10+ years of service I have come to fully trust and even recommend Banfield to my friends and family, but now I simply can no longer endorse this establishment. I am writing to you first, but I will be leaving this full letter as a comment everywhere that lists Banfield of Williamsburg's business online. Thank you for the years of quality care and experience that has blessed our family in the past. Regretfully, never again. Frank B *************************** Banfield Corporate emailed me back immediately and apologized. They asked for all my information and my pet's information so that they could forward it to my local Banfield so that they could contact me personally. It has been over a month; I have not heard from anyone. My pet was treated incredibly well at Prevent a Litter in Richmond, and she has recovered perfectly from her surgery. They also charged me exactly what was discussed over the phone. I hope you (future patron of Banfield) have a better experience than I had. Banfield used to be my most trusted Veterinarian.

Would have been 5 stars but I did not know a nail clipping and a gland expression was close to $80 bucks... I might have some things mixed up but that just seems a little much.

I love my two babies doctor, assistance and front desk personnel. Excellent customer service for over eight years with the Williamsburg office.

We always get great service for our pups here. We have 2 very loud German Shepherds and the staff know how to work with big dogs when they are afraid, like one of ours is. Highly recommend the specific Banfield!! Great job!

The staff has been friendly and helpful, but the prices are outrageous. I was with another vet for over 10 years and decided to switch to Banfield when I got new kittens because of the wellness plan. When one of my kittens started vomiting, I had him taken in to find out that the only thing that would be covered under the wellness plan was the visit. The expenses totaled to over 500 dollars for an X-ray and blood work alone. My original vet only charges 90 dollars for bloodwork and less than 200 for an X-ray. I am now stuck paying the monthly price for the wellness plan until the year is up even though I’ll never use it. When I tried to cancel the wellness plan, they make you pay the remaining balance for the year, so I have no choice but to wait it out. I will never use Banfield again.

Very caring staff. I am also very impressed with Dr. Law, who listened to my concerns and provided excellent care to my cat and older dog.

my two dogs have been patients for over 12-1/2 years. The services/communications have dramatically changed for the bad over the past year. Vets come and go; no continuity; failure to care; sending me to an emergency vet for services they said they could not provide but turned out Banfield doctors should have honored; failure to honestly call my pharmacy for refills of a controlled substance which has resulted in 3 days of suffering by my 12.5 year old cavalier. It took me 30+ minutes on my phone to cancel their wellness plans - BTW just learned I still need to pay the monthly charges until 12/6/20 Zappa at a cost of $52.95 a month; and 1/31/2021 Ziggy at a cost of $52.95. Do you also charge accounts of pets that have passed away? I will no longer be using their services!!! On a positive note I have grown to be very fond of the front desk staff and vet tech Angel who my dogs adore! I am extremely disappointed with Banfield Pet Hospital. As I said earlier the caring, failure to call in a much needed prescription over the last 3 days!!!! and doctors coming and going all the time has become very worrisome about the practice!!!

Dr Salaj and I'm not sure her nurses name, but they were absolutely amazing today and understanding! I couldn't of asked for better people. My animal's are my world and they always go above and beyond! Thank you so much!

Absolutely loved the staff here. They were able to see my cat right away when she had medical issues. I also love how they handle everything with COVID precautions in place. Everything was clean and they had sanitizer available for everyone.
