Dr. Teferi and his whole staff are awesome—super lucky my pup has them.

Took my cat for a teeth cleaning. It was very affordable. They took good care of my cat. I look forward to using them for other services.

Great vet. Caring, professional, and always willing to take an emergency when they are able. Highly reccommend!

Great place and very affordable. A 1 year annual appointment with shot and everything for a cat runs about $150. Plus they are still taking maximum COVID protections which means you can't wait inside but also I feel my cat is safer.

Easy process to get an appointment, covid policies in place.

I love going to this Vet, the doctor and the whole staff are so friendly and caring for my Furbabies and do their best to get my babies in when they are not feeling well. Of course during these times I do my best to call at least two weeks in advance for routine checkups due to appointments filling quickly but overall a great experience would 100 percent recommend.

Incredibly overpriced please steer clear. They give you price range for a service to your face and when they present the bill loads of hidden charges, no transparency or integrity. Please do not get taken advantage of they will rob you! Shop around they’re plenty of other vets in the city that are affordable and will not exploit you as an animal lover.

I am taking my dog to p st pet practice since 2018. Every thing was ok. And dr Ayub is really friendly and attentive to the pets.

I once loved the attention they gave my two dogs, but the last year we’ve only had bad experiences and I don’t feel my dogs will be safe here anymore :( first incident we had was that I had to take my senior bulldog twice in the same day for a simple blood sample, because the first time “they didn’t draw enough blood” for the sample (?) so they had to pinch him again later that day. I had to waste time going back and forth, but most importantly he suffered. The second time they vaccinated my other dog with a vaccine that he had a couple of months ago, and therefore did not need and for which I didn’t ask for, and only realized this when they were charging me, so he was on high risk of getting an allergic reaction or worse. Very sad because this place was right next to my house.

Dr T is the best! We've been taking our rescue dogs here for years! Our dogs have no problem with the V-E-T.

This veterinarian is incredible! Private practice with great bed-side manner. They are very friendly, responsive and considerate. They respond very promptly to all requests and treat your pets like valued patients. They even check up on your pet after a visit to ensure they are doing well. Strongly recommend!

The folks at P Street are so kind and understanding when treating your pet. However, getting your pet in the door is a major struggle :( I would suggest to either hire additional staff or scale back operations to a level that can be better managed and gives return patients a dependable/reliable vet.

I cannot speak highly enough of P Street Pet Practice! They are fantastic. Not only is my beagle/lab puppy unafraid of going to the vet, she actually wants to stay longer. The staff are extremely kind and professional, and I was blown away by the follow up. Dr. Teferi emailed me after our visit to ask if I had any more questions, which was amazing. I also called about my puppy's eyes getting gunked up a week later. He called me back within a few hours and recommended 5mg of Zyrtec. He said I could call back daily to reassess how she was doing. I was so grateful that he was so helpful without even mentioning a prescription or vet fees. He is truly wonderful in so many ways. I'm a P Street Pet Practice customer for life <3

Very unprofessional. Snobbish workers and how does a vet do x-ray on a pregnant animal? If anything it be a sonogram. So when the doctor told me x ray I was glad I had already had walked away from their services. If humans cannot x-ray cause of pregnancy then why an animal can. People pay attention

The vet was terrific! I was pet sitting for a friend and her dog wasn't feeling well. She emailed P Street Pet Practice and they suggested I bring the puppy over. They were open until 7p so I was able to make it over there after work. The vet was expecting us and immediately received the puppy to check her out. I waited in the car (Covid-19) and they were ready with a diagnosis and antibiotics shortly. They billed my friend directly and took down my number so they could call me the next day and see how the puppy was doing. Really lovely experience!

P St. Pet Practice and Dr. T took amazing care of my rescue dog while we lived in DC. The staff are all super professional. We appreciated the benefits of a small office, quiet and clean waiting room and never felt rushed. Would highly recommend.

The veterinarian and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. This isn’t your average big box pet practice like many in DC.

P Street Pet Practice was a great find in our area. They were able to fit us in on relatively short notice for a checkup for our newly adopted dog and we've returned for other services. Their COVID precautions seem more than adequate and Cotton seemed to love the staff.

P Street Pet Practice is our home! They are reasonably priced compared to the excellent service they provided. Staff is super friendly. P street is practicing curb-side safety pick up/dropoffs which is a God send! There is street parking with quick turn-around. The outside tree box could use some TLC. I did not consider it safe for my puppy to “use”.

Dr T is the best vet I have ever seen. He was kind knowledgeable and just knows his stuff. He was so gentle with my 15 year old dog. If I could give more than 5 stars I would

Went there middle of June 2020 (covid times). Passed off New kitten @magicmarv_ for his first visit. Nice doctor, very friendly in and out service. Waited in car during the check, and was sent a follow up text by the doctor after to make sure all was fine ????

Dr. T is the best. Whenever there is an emergency, we give him a call and he'll help in any way he can. Prices are reasonable. The only Vet we call when our dog is sick.
