I bring my dog to Dog University. He is learning to socialize and gets great exercise and rest. A great mix of fun and routine.

The man that worked there was very rude, and when I picked my dog up I saw him hit my dog.

My dog loves coming to Dog University! The dogs are well cared for and well supervised from the moment they get there until they come home. The dogs get to socialize in an outdoor space with an indoor backup area for inclement weather. I have done boarding, doggy day care, and training here and cannot recommend them enough!

We could not recommend Dog university enough. We have had a journey in training our dogs. We originally owned one australian shepherd/border collie mix who pulled extremely hard during walks and has energy for days. We took her to two separate places who failed us before we ended up at dog university. One of the places we had gone to convinced us to rescue an additional dog in hopes to help our first dog with energy levels and training need. Needless to say it did not help and we ended up with two pulling, powerful, and aggressive dogs and wasted more money on training. We went to Dog University and opted for the board and train option because we had felt like there was no way we’d ever be able to handle our two girls. After the two weeks of training James has spent additional time with us to help ensure there is continued training and care for our girls. He is always there to answer our questions and guide us in making sure we are giving our fur babies the best life possible. We now have two well mannered dogs who are always excited to train and walk. We are constantly working towards improvement but the confidence we have gained from James and his training is huge. We saw a few comments towards the disappointment in pronged collars and we’d like to offer this advice: our first dog we used every kind of harness under the sun. She would run away and hide from all of them. However, now every time we are about to go for a walk and wear the pronged collars she runs to the door in excitement and sits and waits for us to put them on. Used properly and trained by professionals like the people at Dog University we have found tremendous value in using them to help train our dogs to understand what we are expecting of them. We also take our girls there for day care and have wonderful things to say about this as well! Our newest rescue is slow to trust and prefers us (her “parents”) to handle her. However, when she is at Dog University to be dropped off she pins her ears back and wags her tail in excitement to see all the trainers and handlers in there. She barely does this with our roommate who she sees everyday. It goes to show how well the dogs are treated and cared for when they’re dropped off. So many good things to say about this place! Highly highly recommend!!

This is the worst place I have ever been to, the man is belligerent to the effect he starting yelling at me the placed his hands on his private area and made obscene gestures at me and my minor daughter which created her to have a severe panic attack. My sincere opinion is think before you ever get involved with these people or establishment!!! Best of luck

James and his Team have always exceeded our expectations. We have two Bernese Mountain Dogs. James provide World Class Training for us since they were pups. Both dogs were hard for us to train. James made an immediate connection with both dogs. He established clear boundaries and set expectations for their behavior. We have also used Dog U for Day Care and boarding. The facility is Top Notch and always clean. Highly recommended Dog University for all of your Training, Boarding and Day Care Needs. Outstanding.

10/10 recommend Dog University!!! We adopted our dog (Maggie) in July 2018 from a rescue shelter. She surprisingly had perfect behaviors in the home (never went to the bathroom, chewed on furniture, etc). However, when passing or trying to meet other dogs, she would become extremely aggressive. Luckily, we found Dog University online and did a consult with James. He taught both ourselves and Maggie so many different approaches within this one hour consultation. He gave recommendations for a week-long training to continue addressing her aggression. After that training, he continued to work to implement her into their daycare program. We know other dog places would deny/ kick her out of their boarding/daycare given her behaviors. Luckily, Dog University is not intimidated and continues to work with us to better alter her behaviors (since this is not an overnight fix!!). James and his staff genuinely care for Maggie and continue to inform us of any concerns/ recommendations they have for her. Both staff, ourselves, and our families can easily identify the progress Maggie has made since the six months of us working with DU. We are so lucky to have them involved in her care & we couldn't image working with anyone else. Whether you're looking for daycare, boarding, or training, they do it all. We could not imagine anyone else caring for our pup like they do!!

James and the staff are awesome. I had an out of control Boxer that no one else could tame except for Dog University. They gave me honest advice as well as the training needed to correct the unwanted behaviors at home. I would give more stars if I could! Highly recommend training as well as doggie day care.

I have a small dog and have absolute confidence that when I pick her up, whether after day care or boarding, she will be healthy and happy. And nicely tired.

Our dog Daisy LOVES it there!

They seem very knowledgable about dogs. Their out side area for the dogs to play in is all on asphalt which I think is unfortunate but they do have covered areas and toys and beds available for the dogs. For the amount of dogs that they take in I think the building size and space they have here is a bit small. But over all they took good care of our dog over the weekend that we were out of town and our friends recommended them to us after they had a good experience with training here.

James, the owner/trainer is incredible. He has helped my dog Sophie through some of her issues and the results have been unbelievable. Highly recommend!
