Great Place they took my Coco Bean last minute before Thanksgiving and she loved it. They were very patient with her.

I attended the Canine Good Citizen class taught by Ashley. She was awesome and so was the class. My pup passed with flying colors. I look forward to their future classes and getting into Agility training.

We brought 2 of our dogs here for training, and had a great experience. The staff was excellent, and very personable with our dogs. Highly recommended.

Took my sweet 9-month-old puppy to the two week boarding/training camp at The Animals House. I was immediately concerned when I walked in and saw how filthy the bird’s cage was in the front reception area. And then in the back, it was packed—close to 50 dogs in three enclosed areas, with minimal supervision from the staff the owner employs. But I talked to the owner (Kathy) and was assured that she had been in this business for 25 years and had great ratings online. We left our pup there, and were very clear that we wanted frequent updates on how it was going, because our dog has major anxiety and we were very worried. Immediately, multiple days of radio silence. I wrote an email and was blown off. Finally, get some photos and my dog looks awful. We were on the other side of the country so nothing we could do. My dog ended up catching bronchopneumonia from another dog due to poor sanitary conditions, and The Animals House waited multiple days to take her in to the hospital literally next door to the boarding location. We get in there and the vet doctor told us that if she had been in there a day later she could have stopped breathing and died. We ended up needing to use a nebulizer on her for three separate times each day, give her steroid injections, and have her on antibiotics for five weeks. Her lungs still haven’t recovered. The worst part: Kathy lied, telling us that she’d never had a dog get sick like this in her 25 years of business. Meanwhile, the animal hospital told us they had had three other dogs from the Animal House in there that week, all with the same pneumonia. And that they would never bring their own pets in there because of all the injuries and illnesses they’ve seen other dogs get there. Now, almost six months later, our dog has awful separation anxiety, we still can’t take her for the same hikes or long walks because of her lung capacity, and we’re terrified to leave her at any other facility overnight. The only silver lining: The Animals House paid the over $3,000 vet bills, but aparently, they haven’t paid the bills for many other pets they got sick. Should have trusted my gut—25 years of experience means nothing if you can’t keep four-legged members of people’s families safe. Photos of our sick puppy and disgusting bed we received back from Animals House, covered in multiple days of mold and snot.

Our dog loves coming here and it was great for socializing when she was a puppy.

I wish I could give them more stars! They took excellent care of my scared, anxious, traumatized little rescue dog for over three weeks while I was out of town. I was so nervous to leave him in a kennel because he is terrified of people and is an escape artist, but everyone on staff took the time to get to know my dog and make him comfortable. They were also really sweet when I called for updates and promised to give him extra cuddles from me. I'm really glad I chose the Animal's House because it's a smaller facility where the dogs get more personalized attention and they are always in view of a staff member. The dogs also get to hang out with other dogs during the day instead of sitting in their own kennels all day, and there is always staff in the room to supervise. The facility is clean and I got the feeling that the staff at the Animal's House really love the dogs in their care. It was so unlike the larger well-known kennels I visited that are basically giant warehouses with hundreds of barking dogs. And it was half the price! They also didn't charge extra to give my dog his daily medication, which I appreciated.

Our new pup is very excited when we drop him off for some fun. This place came with great recommendations from some people who I've worked with in the vet field.

The Animals House is a wonderful place that treated my family and wayward dog with respect, patience, and kindness. Georgie is a changed pup after his obedience training. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs training assistance.

When we moved here, we knew we needed to pick back up on leash training. After having some disappointing trainer interactions (good trainers, just not a great fit with our dog) I definitely looked at the reviews and was pleased to see that The Animals' House was highly reviewed, had the Novice class we wanted, AND they were nearby! Novice class was super great!! Matt was so good when we needed a demo of how to do something—and knowing my dog could do it with him gave me hope that I could learn to cue my dog the right way, too. We're looking at coming back for the Canine Good Citizen class in a few weeks, and I'll be signing up with Matt again! ???? Highly recommend!!

Our husky mix recently completed the novice class and all I can say is THANK YOU SO MUCH, MATT! Loki and I both learned so much. More than helping Loki be an obedient pup, you helped me be a confident dog parent. Thank you for helping me understand Loki's behaviour better. Teaching us why we do what we are supposed to do rather than just simply telling us what to do most certainly helped us be successful in class. My family and I are very grateful to Matt and The Animals' House!

I never post reviews but if you're on the fence about sending your dog here for doggie boot camp, do it!!! My dog has had trouble with fear aggression and after nipping several people, we knew we had to get him some help. Nicole took excellent care of my fur baby and her assessment alone was very helpful. We now know what to do going forward to build his confidence and keep others safe. The day I brought him home he was playing fetch with me and I nearly cried. We will definitely continue to work with him on obedience and training to keep his mind active. Thanks again Nicole!!!!:D

Good training programs and day care. Would board my dog here because I feel they give individual attention to your dog. Not like other places where your dog is just a number.

I sent my newly adopted dog here for the boot camp. This sweet puppy has a great personality but no training at all at 1 year old. I was blown away at how well he was trained by the end of the camp. The staff was super friendly, called me with updates and even bathed my dog before he came home. My dog was happy, healthy and extremely well trained when I picked him up!

We boarded our two small dogs during a family vacation and we got both dogs back with kennel cough. Boarding both dogs for the week cost $660 and the vet bill was $289 (including meds), so a very expensive mistake. I asked them (in writing) to notify their other customers, and I hope they actually did so. And no, they didn't offer to mitigate any aspect of the cost. The Animals House could not pay me enough to bring my dogs back there.

I love The Animals House. I have been taking my dogs here for years for daycare and boarding. They have competitive pricing for multiple dogs and are always extremely caring and nice to the dogs.

We recently left our dog for training with the Animals House when we went on a vacation. We were extremely pleased with trainer Kelly and her reinforcement method of praising good behavior. I would definitely recommend her and the Animals House for your dog's training.

Great day care for my pups. They are exhausted when they get home. As you know, a tired pup is a good pup. Haven't tried their overnight boarding or training yet but I hear it's excellent.

Great place to board your dog, get lessons or just leave your dog for the day so he can socialize with other dogs. Highly recommend the training classes.

We had no previous experience with this place since it’s not that close to our house but we took our 11 month old puppy here for the two week boot camp, all I can say is the results are nothing short of amazing and the price was very reasonable compared to what other places are charging. Our dog was so bad we were considering giving him away; he has come home like a completely different dog. Our main trainer was Matt; he obviously has a gift for working with dogs. I can’t get over the positive changes they made in our dogs in just two short weeks, it’s incredible. We will definitely be going back for some of the more advanced lessons in the future.

Dropped off a white dog and 28 hours later picked up a tan dog. My dog was filthy...I mean FILTHY on the bottom half of his body. Not from walkiing in the dirt, fron being placed in an obviously dirty kennel.

Been using these guys for about 14 years. I know my dog loves it because he is always pulling on the leash to get inside when he realizes where he is. He's always exhausted after a day at daycare as well because he plays really hard with the other dogs. It makes me happy to know that he is happy.

Great doggy daycare and boarding. They also offer training services. We have all benefited from the training.
