I went to Petco and saw a gecko!

Just took my shiba inu here today. They groomed him and he looks so nice, and smells great. They took good care of him even though he's a little butthead. They were also super quick, a little over an hour and they were all done I loved it. Thank you guys for taking such good care of Nero, I appreciate it!!!!

Has a wide variety of pet supplies and employees are friendly. I don't think I'd rely on them for pet (fish) care advice, but they have most the supplies you need.

Great store, not too big that you cannot find what you want. Had a Husky for adoption. Very friendly and sweet. Staff very helpful and kind.

Had a shots appointment and ended up having to wait over one hour past the end of our appointment time to be seen. The line was outrageously long. The shots went well other then the wait.

The store is Petco. National chain blah blah blah. If you go to the grooming Department you will win 100% of the time. Truly professional staff that looks out for the welfare of your animals. I know this review does not serve me well because they will be overbooked and I'll be harder for me to get my lovely dogs into that place. God bless Wolf Trap animal rescue for my lovely animals!!!

Everyone is so welcoming and helpful. From cashiers, to the grooming staff and they all work very well together. They all deserve a nice holiday bonus.

Online says open at 9am. Note on door says NEW HOURS: 10am-blahblahblah wasted time which is money. Buy your pet supplies from local mom and pop shops. Stop supporting corporate companies that cannot run properly.

How do you not know if your store brand product is safe or not?

Helpful and friendly employees; first time here and I will definitely come here instead of Petsmart down the street. The selection of fish is bigger and the tanks are much cleaner. They had a huge selection of parakeets, which we came in for.

Twice in the last 3 months we have had grooming appointments “cancelled” with no notice, no notification of cancellation, or call to reschedule. The first time we got all the way to the store before finding out that the appointment was cancelled. The second time we fortunately had called to confirm the time and found that this had happened yet again. We will not be returning as this has become a pattern.

Just mediocre service, depending on which day you go there. Kittens food not stocked enough nor regularly.

Staff was friendly. Loved the bday coupon for my pup and the variety.

Had puppy training with Christina. She is great I highly recommend her.

The staff is friendly and help full. I would like to see more natural dog food products.

Lovely store, very helpful and pleasant workers and amazing nail trim at the pet spa. This woman wrangled my goofy French bulldog by herself and beautifully trimmed and filed his nails. He never behaves so well for me, and it usually takes 2 groomers to trim his nails. 10 stars!

The management of this store completely neglects the Green Cheek Conure birds and the area where the poor parrots are placed is completely blocked by the dog training setup. Even when the training is done, one of the employees threw a fit about a year or so ago when I tried to go see the birds with my wife; they left the dog training wall/fence area there not being used and not letting customers approach the window to see the birds. Another employee noticed this and tried to assure the rude employee that we were just trying to see the birds but that didn’t stop the rude employee from pushing us away. Very disappointed. I wasn’t going to write this review but the constant neglect of the birds is very disappointing.

I chose to travel to Petco due to the fact that I did not have a great experience with my local pet store, PETSMART. We went to PETSMART to purchase a couple of Bettas but were not given much guidance at all. They showed us the aisle of the items but not what we need to buy to keep a Betta healthy and happy. We ended up buying a tank too small. So after a couple of stressful days of our new Bettas looking miserable and close to death, we chose to go to Petco. This was the best decision. On the first day we had Kaitlyn assist us. She was very knowledgeable and a great help in purchasing all the necessary items. She was able to answer every question we had and was so helpful in showing us each item that would work best. We returned a day later to test the water in our new larger tank and was helped by Nick. Nick was also so very helpful in making sure our tank water was adjusted to be just right for our bettas. Due to Kaitlyn and Nick calming our fears and guiding us through this experience, our bettas are now looking happy and helping in their new home. We appreciate the patience and time that they took with helping us and made this whole birthday gift to me a much happier and less stressful experience. Thank you to them and their manager Liz for hiring such great, experienced and friendly people. Julian was also a pleasant to meet. Petco has definitely gained a couple of new life long customers. To me it's worth traveling a little further for better service. You all are great!!

Love that they carry Acana and always have a cute harness for my pup. Employees are also very helpful.

Love this store over the competition. Honestly there is no competition if you compare this to petsmart. Most employees here are knowledgeable and the store is well kept.
