Found my best friend, Bumble at Stafford SPCA. The adoption process was so wonderful with everyone involved. They all care so deeply for the animals they take in and my dog definitely loves his family there. They took time to make sure we were the right fit for each other and I know they’re always there if I or my pup ever need anything in the future. I’m so grateful that I found them and my fur baby. I couldn’t have imagined It any better <3

Amazing staff and volunteers who truly try their best to make the shelter feel like a loving home, treating all of its residents like family. The facility is super clean and organized and the staff is consistent in care, always prioritizing the animal’s needs and welfare.

It's hard to find at first, but it's a great place to volunteer and hopefully find a companion to enter your Forever Home. Staff are great and inviting, wish I found this place soon.

My husband and I recently adopted a cat from Stafford SPCA. We were so impressed not only with the facility (cats and dogs have freedom to roam in clean, spacious rooms attended by the most amazing volunteers) but by the facility’s clear vision that every animal deserves to be the right fit in a forever home. We drove an hour and a half to a “by appointment only” meeting with Tracy who is on staff at the facility. She’s amazing. We got to hang out with our kitty and observe her temperament while Tracy discussed shot records and past vet visits with us. After a home visit, which is a wonderful requirement, Wigglytuff was ours! We strongly recommend taking the time to visit Stafford SPCA if you’re wanting the best kind of pet adoption experience.

Spray and neuter your pets. Always adopt and never buy animals. report any signs that advertise dogs for sale. They are puppy mills. Let a shelter animal save your family.

Friendly staff, the animal friends are able to move around freely, and it was super easy to work with.

Went to drop off donations, they do great work for our community.

The SPCA in Fredericksburg is very clean and the animals are well taken care of.

Great place, great dogs, great staff.

After losing my cat last week, the SPCA has assuaged much of my fear about him returning and really let me know they were there to help any way they could. You can also rent humane traps with a few easy steps. It's a little out of the way but well worth it- they always appreciate visitors, volunteers, and frequent petters.

I would highly recommend the Stafford County SPCA to anyone! The staff and volunteers are very knowledgeable, helpful, and it is clear that they strive to find forever homes that fit for each animal. The animals are well cared for and the facility is very clean. They worked with us to find the right match for our family. The process was smooth, clear, and moved quickly once we submitted our application to the agency.

If I could give it a zero I would I called to re-home our dog because he has anxiety and needs a place with no children the lady said I don't think people with small kids should get a dog and sounds like you need to get trainer. One we saved this dog two that was extremely rude we just want the best for this great dog.

My respects to this no-kill shelter. The animals are very well treated, with a lot of love and respect. Looking for a new friend, this is the place to go!

Loved working with the friendly faces at the Stafford spca. The dogs and cats are well loved and taken care of. They could always use an extra donation. ???? They take their time and make sure the pet is placed in the best possible forever home. Love them! And thanks for my new best friend.

You will never find a place with more heart. The employees at this place care so much about animals. They thoroughly vet every person who wants to adopt to make sure the animals are going to a right place. The animals are well cared for and loved. I have read about so many successful adoption stories. I can't say enough about how awesome the Stafford SPCA is!

The people volunteering here are so nice and helpful. The animals are all happy and well-taken care of. Please consider adopting instead of buying from a breeder!!!
