We have been going to Aquia for a few months now for two or our rescue kittens. I really like how both of my kittens have been taken care of. Dr. Kenny, their primary Vet has been amazing. She calls me personally when I have questions even if it's late in the day. We recently had one of the Kittens neutered and it was a pleasant experience. The staff at Aquia are very sweet as well. Overall we have been very happy with our experience, highly recommend.

The care my dogs has received from AGAH has been 5 star from basic care to complex treatment. This is care that has taken place for over ten years with now my third dog. They were organized and thorough in the treatment of my elderly dog. The veterinarian met with me and explained my options considering he is up in age. Our dog received the treatment and is doing well. This treatment was for the only one of our dogs that started out at another hospital that offered packages. Initially our dog received treatment from the package deal hospital and it was a devastating experience that in the end my dog still was in need of treatment. After the horrible experience, I decided that I must transfer my dog to AGAH with my other animals. I regret not transferring him sooner. The service from AGAH was exceptional and like night and day compared to the other hospital. I say all this to say getting the best bang for your buck is more complex than a package. The professionalism, quality and care can’t be measured in a buck. I highly recommend AGAH !!!

I cannot tell you how much this place and the people who work here mean to me! My husband is disabled and they SAVED his support kitty! Thank you especially to Doctor Kennedy!

They seem to care about your pet as if they were their own but it's only so they can over charge and add stuff to your bill without permission and even go so far as to schedule appointments without even asking or checking with your schedule...oh and did I mention at the last appointment they flat out said we have no further help to offer he has to come out of this on his own

I needed an emergency vet yesterday for my dog. Called this place and was told, “we close in 15 minutes.” They are 10 minutes from my house and I stated I can be there in 10 minutes. They said back, “No, we can’t see him because we close in 15 minutes. Therefore, you need to find somewhere else.” They hung up on me. The only vet I could find that would look at my dog is in Springfield. My dog passed away on the way to the Springfield. Thank you Aquia for turning me away when you were still open. You really care about animals.

They were the only place close to me and they turned me away because they were closing in 15 minutes when I could be there in 10 minutes. I plead with how poor conditions my dog was in and all they could say was we close and hung up. My dog passed away on the way to Springfield. They clearly don't care about the lives of animals when they had a chance to save mine.

After our frenchie was seen at another vet and had an allergic reaction to the rabies vaccine, we brought him in to be seen. They saw him quickly and provided great care. We will be transferring our animals here for continued care.

Caring and competent care. Found staff and doctors pleasant and customer oriented. We have had 3 labs and several cats that we brought to AGAH over the years and wouldn't go anywhere else.

I’ve been to my fair share of vets/ER vets between my cat and dog. Most of the time it feels like your being rushed out and the vet is playing a guessing game to run up the bill. When I come here I know my pets are getting the help they need. My dog came in with bloody diarrhea and a skin rash and left his happy self. The doctor knew right away what the best course of treatment would be and then some. Most dogs hate going to the vet but my dog loves coming. The staff is friendly and professional. It is a very clean and beautiful facility. COVID precautions: Masks are REQUIRED, one person per pet inside, social distancing

Staff at Aquia is always helpful and patient; procedures & costs are fully explained and all options are discussed beforehand; it’s very rare that wait time is very long at all; staff is great at taking care that you & your pet are at ease and seen as quickly as possible. I can easily and Highly recommend Aquia-Garrisonville Animal Hospital!

We live approximately 30 minutes (on a no traffic day) from AGAH and it is well worth the drive. We were referred to this hospital upon purchase of our precious Bailey the Beagle. Bailey is almost a year old and we have remained loyal to the AGAH and its extraordinary veterinarians and staff. The professionalism of the staff and quality of services is worth the value. They are extremely responsive whenever we call for advice and transparent regarding cost of services. Most of all, they treat our fur baby with care and respect.

They are great. Dr Kennedy took good care of nervous Roxi's dew claw injury and even showed me the results before bandaging and release.

This was a great experience. They took the time to really examine my boy because this was his third time to see a vet in a couple weeks. The staff was extremely friendly and professional.

When I first found out my dog had kidney disease, I was really shocked. It was during covid so everything was curbside. I received the call from Dr Rue. I didn’t know anything about the disease so I had a lot of questions because she told me that my dog had kidney disease and that I needed to do this, this, and this but I had no idea what she was talking about. I was asking questions to clarify and she gave me several HUGE SIGHS as if I was bothering her. She kept trying to end the conversation but I needed answers! I paid for my dog to be seen by the doctor, I think it’s fair that I get to ask the dr questions. A few months later I called asking if it was safe for my senior dog, who has kidney disease, to take over the counter joint supplements. Dr Taft’s response was “at this point, you can give it to her”. At this point?? My dog isn’t dead. She’s actually doing fine right now I want to prolong my dog’s life and make it as comfortable as possible. I needed an answer to tell me if her kidneys would be compromised by taking these supplements or not. Not a response that insinuates that she’s reaching the end of her life and that it doesn’t matter what we do. If it’s not safe for her then I would never give it to her and find different alternatives instead. I was so shocked by his response and lack of empathy. I’ve seen both Dr Taft and Rue and their bedside manners need work.

Waited a few weeks to be seen but well worth the wait. Professional staff, excellent care given to our pets and their COVID practices are top notch. Thorough exams, reasonable pricing and assistance is just a phone call away. So glad we found Aquia-Garrisonville Animal Hospital!

We got our dog spayed here. She was sent home smelling of urine and had feces stuck to her paws. Her incision became infected two days later as a result, requiring us to pay for additional antibiotics. They also do a terrible job or tracking vaccinations. They charge an exam fee each time you come in — we had the same dog scheduled for vaccines she was due on, and three weeks later they called saying she was due for MORE vaccines. They should have done those the first appointment to prevent us having to pay for and schedule two exams.

We have had a couple of negative experiences at this hospital now. First, we got our husky fixed here in November. She was required to stay overnight for "observation," and was subsequently sent home the next morning smelling of urine and had feces stuck to her paws. Her incision was infected two days later which we had to pay for antibiotics to remedy. Second, in March, they called indicating she was due for a couple of vaccines. Then, three weeks later they called saying she was due for MORE vaccines. Mind you, they charge you an exam fee for each visit. So, not only was it inconsiderate of my time, but also my wallet, that they didnt look at her chart the first time we were in to see that she had more soon upcoming.

We are new to the area and this was our pet's first visit. We received excellent service. The staff was very professional, kind, and ensured our questions and needs were met. We are very pleased to have been referred to them for services. Our furry family member is very important to us. Highly recommended.

Love this place! Can't not say how much they take care of my beagle, Clive. They follow up with him after any unplanned appointment. Great customer care and easy access to scheduling.
