Needed an urgent visit bc our regular vet was closed. Got a same day appointment and excellent care, despite the very busy office. Facilities are a little dated but the professional and friendly staff and excellent care for our puppy were on point! Will definitely return and recommend to others. Thank you, Dr Anthappan and amazing staff for your care.

I can't think of one single thing to recommend for improvement! I love the care that you provide to our precious dog! Your genuine concern, patience and kindness are reflected in all of your staff and I tell everyone about you. I am so glad we found you this year.

I'm so greatful for Dr. A and his staff for seeing my elderly dog who suddenly became severely ill while we were up from Florida staying with my Father, just days after my Brother died. They were the only clinic in Stafford who would see her even though they were extremely busy and Dr. A is the only doctor. They are very caring and my Pup got great treatment and is feeling a lot better.

There's always a long wait time but it's clear they love the animals so it's worth it.

Called to ask a billing question on something I did not understand with our bill for my dog. When I was questioning the receptionist she hung up on me. Will not be returning to this vet.

Friendly and doctor discussed in detail how to administer the medication to my cat. As needed, I will be bringing my cat here in the future.

This was my second time here for a non-routine, possibly urgent visit. Both times they were able to squeeze me into their schedule in a day's notice. Dr. A is a busy guy but provides good car with each client and patient. The clinic is dated and there is only one doc to my knowledge. The techs are great. Be prepared to wait, but it's worth the wait for a quality doc and exam. From what I know, the price for care is much more reasonable than elsewhere.

My family and I had scheduled an appointment to come and euthanize my sweet 16 year old bichon frise. Although the situation was very devastating for my family, the staff had been so accommodating and empathetic. The vet explained what was going to happen in a very professional but kind way. I feel they gave us enough time to grieve and leave our precious dog with them to take care of when it was time for us to leave. A week later, the staff and vet personally sent me card to share their condolences. It was the sweetest gesture. A few weeks later I came back and picked up my dog’s ashes. I was trying to hard to keep it together. The box his ashes came in was absolutely beautiful. I totally sobbed in the car right after I picked up. Thank you so much staff and vet. You have made this process much less difficult for my family and I will forever remember your kindness.

They took us in last minute for a same day appointment. Our kitty was acting very out of sorts and after spending all afternoon with this clinic, he is much better! We will follow his medicine regimen but seeing so much improvement is wonderful!

Dr. A at 610 Animal Hospital has been our vet for over 5 years now. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He literally saved my labradoodle's life a few years ago. Dr. A is a great vet. I highly recommend 610 animal hospital to anyone.

I will never be taking my cats to this vet again!! First of all it took an hour and a half just to get two shots… and i saw TWO fleas in the exam room. The Dr sounded like he had no clue what he was talking about and It was just very dirty and unprofessional. Also the vet assistant was confused, quite and literally sounded like she had no idea what she was doing. if anything I was the vet assistant because i had to hold both my kittys down when they got their shots. I want better for my girls.

Everyone at the 610 Animal Hospital was gentle, kind, knowledgeable, helpful, and considerate of our feelings,emotions, finances, the problems my dog was experiencing and gave me options on his treatment.. and advise!! I was very confident that my dog was receiving the best care available!! Wonderful job business!! Thank you!!

We had an injured cat that they took in on a busy Saturday afternoon. The Vet was great at explaining what happened to our cat and how to take care of him while he healed. Thank you 610 Animal Hospital! I am forever grateful to you and your staff!

Great place/ prices for pets (I own a dog) only place I been with reasonable prices

They wouldn't transfer my pets records to another veterinarian's office when they requested the records which is in fact illegal and their service is very poor and slow. Not the be rude but the doctors aren't very helpful in telling you what to do to help your animal better. They also charge you extremely large amounts of money for no reason

Great experience. Everyone was very knowledgeable. The doctor was very efficient and gave a great game plan to help several matters with my dog.

This vet clinic is absolutely great and I wouldn’t think to bring my cat, Spyder anywhere else. But, because of Covid, they won’t allow the owner in the exam room, or at least I wasn’t asked to go with him. I do understand the precautions but feel like my presence in that room would have brought a calming influence to my pet. That’s my only gripe, which again is understandable in these uneasy times. Other than that, the staff is friendly and courteous, the veterinarian is AMAZING and I loved being around all the beautiful pets that came in. Lovely place for your furry friend!

Great place to take your pets. Dr. A loves all the animals that come in for treatment. He's very caring and loving to each animal. He just needs to get more reliable help to help him. He and Justin run themselves ragged helping everyone.

They refuse to provide us with our dogs medical records

Just moved to VA. Needed to see a vet asap for my dog. They called back same day and scheduled. Had an outpatient procedure done at a great price. They even called to follow-up and check on my dog.

They actually care. Prices are reasonable. Sometimes time management is an issue ,but they make up for it in how they treat your fur babies. I need to also state that the time management issue is typically because someone is having a fur baby euthanized. So I get it. The vet takes his time to explain things. And gives options for treatment. Will not go anywhere else.

Always rushed off the phone when asking for information by the male receptionist, will not be using their services

Good vets really do seem to try to get you a low price. Occasionally short on admin staff, which can result in a long wait.

We have been taking our babies here for 3 years and never had a problem. The Vet and Justin have been always so helpful and informative. I’m shears able to get appointment soon. Only con is that sometimes you can be stuck in there for longer then you like.

I just wanted to post to let everyone know that I highly discourage taking your pet to 610 animal hospital. We brought our dog in this morning to get his aural hematoma drained(a simple procedure to pop a blood bubble in his ear)and dropped him off at 10am. The vet did NOT say anything about the recovery. This procedure was optional. We picked him up from the vet at 6:10pm..they didn’t even start his procedure until after 5. He couldn’t walk, peed on himself and we were told they had to put 10 buttons in his ears, and wear a cone for 2-3 weeks with 4 medications. If they had told us the recovery would be like this, we would have never done it. Not to mention is costing over half a grand.

610 Animal Hospital is absolutely the worst vet clinic I’ve ever taken any of my dogs to in 22 years. Utterly incompetent and hopelessly disorganized. Avoid at all costs! I had the immunization records for my dogs emailed to 610, and they lost them, twice. 610 gave both of my dogs an exam and updated their vaccinations in March of 2020. In June 2021 I called to make an appointment for an exam and to update their shots. This time 610 lost their own records, and claimed they’d never seen my dogs before! I switched to Stafford Animal hospital and asked 610 to send my dogs records to Stafford, they assured me they would send the records and apologized for their mistakes. And then they never sent any records to Stafford. If you read this review, and still take your pet to 610 Animal Hospital, you’ve no right to complain later because you’ve been warned of their absolute incompetence.
