This is the most kind, caring and professional Veterinary office! From our first phone call , they have shown compassion for both my dog and I. I highly recommend them!

I’m really happy I found this vet. They are very knowledgeable and thoroughly explain the diagnosis and treatment options. Dr. Hurley has even performed surgery on my 11 year old dog. They have been very accommodating with appointment availability and the millions of questions I ask. The team is also relatively patient with my fearful and barking dog. This is pretty important to me bc sometimes I feel her quality of care suffers bc of her behavior at the vet. I also find their prices are pretty reasonable, especially compared to some of the other vets we’ve patronized. I’ve seen plenty of vets in nova and this office is in my top 2 vets.

I was expecting Dr Hurley to come back in to discuss the new xrays. However, Sabrina was very helpful and answered my questions. It was a long visit and I do understand demands on time. The entire staff was extremely helpful during the visit, next day follow-up, my bandage concerns and questions for Leni's next visit. I wish you were closer...I would transfer my own dogs to your care!

Staples Mill Animal Hospital is a god-send. I tried several animal hospitals in the local area - including one that I'd used for more than 17 years - and Staples Mill was the only animal hospital that paid attention to my concerns for my 90-lb Hound-Dobie Mix. They were kind, great listeners and did a real evaluation of my dog. I was relieved when I left there and will definitely continue to use them. They are my new home for my dog. When we get our next rescue dog, Staples Mill is going to be our place! They are truly the best!

Cost is outrageous and they were unwilling to explain all the high fees. The staff to include a lady named Myeesa (sp) keep calling me to harass me about payment. I paid the expensive bill but will take my business elsewhere. I would rather find a vet who cares enough to refer to my pup by name ... Staple Mills only cares about the $$. I won’t go back.

Everything was easy to do from making the appointment to getting seen. The staff are always friendly and loving to my pets. The vets explain everything and are warm and caring. I love this place.

Without a doubt recommend this amazing team! Sadly we’ve moved so we will no longer be working with them, but they are the best. They truly care about their patients, are always friendly & informative, & continued this quality care throughout the pandemic. Thank you all!

Hands down the BEST VET in the area!!!

My chihuahua had severe pancreatitis, was in dire straights, and is a major biter. The team at Staples Mill saved her life, and was even able to charm her enough to hold her in their arms. I've never seen any vet or tech able to do that. I'm visiting here in Woodbridge, but plan to travel to Staples Mill Vet from Burke where I live, if I ever need to take Piper to a vet in the future. They are AMAZING and well worth the extra time driving. Absolute miracles workers. She went in barely able to stand, and by the end of the day, after their IV treatments, she was dancing and wagging her tail. The front desk was extremely friendly, and patient on the phone as well, which makes a big difference when you're stressed about your dog's well-being. Thank you Staples Mill Animal Hospital!!

The Vets and the Technicians are great. They have always been very caring towards my Gussie. The Receptionists always do everything they can to get you an appointment which is good for everyone. I also like the fact they will tell you what your visit will be and what is needed right away. Being retired and on a fixed income this is so helpful. I would definitely recommend to all friends and family, Gussie loves it there and makes himself at home!!

Staples Mill Animal Hospital is the best! I really believe that they saved my pets life! They diagnosed my pet with a heart problem and now he is on the medication he need to be on. They are extremely knowledgeable about special breeds and they also recommended me to the best cardiologist. The entire staff is so kind and will talk to you on the phone about your pet. I can’t say enough good things about this vet. Prices are on point with other good vets. I absolutely love this vet and will be sad to leave. Thank you Staples for taking such good care of my baby boy and saving his life.

The team is knowledgeable and patient. They took the time to listen to all my questions and explain everything to me, which I very much appreciated as a first time dog mom. I let them know my dog gets anxious, and they were understanding of that and very gentle with him. They mentioned that they're planning to fully open soon, but the parking-lot-waiting-room is a great alternative for now. Glad I found Staples Mill Animal Hospital, and I'm comforted that both my dog and I will be treated well here.

If you are new to the area, or are looking for a change in the care of your fur-babies, look no further. We have been usin g Staples Mill and Dr. Shane for out Vet needs for about 20 years! The only reason we would think about changing vets if we move to another state! You cannot go wrong with these ladies.

So fortunate to have found Staples Mill. These people from the ones that answer the phone to the Doctors are fantastic. I rarely say this about a business, especially one that takes care of something so important to me.

If I could give this place 1,000 stars ⭐️ I definitely would. So I switched my dogs veterinarian because I was unhappy with the service at her previous vet. So look around and around and I found Staple Mill Animal Hospital. I was able to see my baby virtually during her visit with them. I was asked did I have any concerns and I did. Which I was given advise on what to do. When I tell you I have NEVER EVER received service like this for any of my animals I haven’t! I am beyond happy I could find a veterinarian that I was satisfied with! Thank you all I truly appreciate it.

I don’t think the experience could have been better. It was our first time visiting Staples Mill, and even though we didn’t set a foot inside, because of COVID-19 precautions, we felt so at home! We never felt rushed, and found that every employee we worked with was caring and gentle. We will be back, for sure!!

I am sure there is room for improvement somewhere but in my opinion the experience I had I thought was pretty amazing. The staff was super friendly from day one from a phone conversation to email and text reminders as well as after the appointment with results and information through email. They where kind and patient and took care of munchkins needs. As well as kept me informed and updated to everything that they were going to do and of things that needed to be done.

My dog passed today and they could not have been more responsive to our family wishes. My dog felt caring from their staff till the end. Thank you for your love and support❤????

Please stay away from this place. Fraudulent business practices. First they tell me that one of the Medicine, Bravecto, is equivalent financially to Frontline and then when we receive the bill, we get a bill that says the cost is twice that of frontline. Then, to top it off, they send an invoice for $532 and proceed to bill me $644. When I called and had a very stern tone on why I was overcharged, they use the age old technique of saying that you don't need to yell at them when I was clearly not yelling at them and was upset that they took an extra $112 out of my account. I was obviously upset but not yelling because it was $112overcharge. They lady kept telling me that I should not be upset because it was not her who made the mistake. When you work somewhere you represent the entire business. You don't shriek off responsibility because you're not the exact person who made the mistake. How about a simple sorry????? Is your business too good to apologize for errors instead an arrogant and condescending tone??!? Everybody makes mistakes, but, damn own up to it and be understanding of clients especially when you overcharge them. Will be taking my business elsewhere. Beware of this place, they do not treat customers right!!!

The doctors and techs are knowledgeable and gentle, and they are always generous with the spoons full of peanut butter, which keeps my dogs distracted and happy. Both of my dogs are young and don't have any serious health issues, but we've been happy with the care and attention they've received and we appreciate the proactive suggestions on keeping the dogs slim and healthy.
