Pet Medical Center is reliable. I have taken my dog to Pet Medical Center fot more than 7 years for her routine check up as well as grooming. The doctors and staff are nice and professional. I would recommend it.

First visit. New patient. So far so good.

We had a horrible experience with this vet. It was our first time visiting, had to wait for an hour for 1 rabies shot for my cat AND we were told to go to the Animal Hospital close by for THEM to complete the shot... My cat was, obviously, extremely nervous and hissed at the vet & we were told we weren't able to be helped. Unacceptable. If you're trained and supposed to be knowledgeable and advertise "how much you care for warm noses" you should be able to handle a rabies vaccination for an elderly cat. Would not recommend.

They were very professional and caring. They were very good with our cat and responsive to our concerns and questions.

The Pet Medical Center provided outstanding service. The vet gave me new ideas to solve some of my dog's issues. I was very happy with all of the service provided by the vet, the office staff, and the vet's assistant.

Very disappointing. Left messages (2) - no one called me back. Called again with my question, they said the would get back to me. Never called back. It's been almost 3 weeks

From standard wellness exams or surgeries to their exceptional customer service and deep care for the pets and clients that walk through their doors, the entire staff consistently exceeds expectations beyond our wildest dreams in caring for our fur babies. We are so very grateful to know that our little ones are in the best of hands and in the best of health with them.

Dr. Love was wonderful, so sweet to my kitties and made the experience super easy. I'd recommend them to anyone. One of the nurses had a bit of an attitude, but all the other nurses were super nice.

They’ve taken care of our dog’s health for years and boarded her a few times too. Dr. Love goes above and beyond to educate us about options, help make decisions, and keep communications open. Every staff member clearly loves animals and seems to love their job too. I highly recommend this veterinary practice.

The staff were friendly, calmed my nerves, and took great care of my old grand-doggie. Leeann did a remarkable job of grooming him, and I am extremely grateful for that. I wish I had had this done years ago.

Having a reliable, professional, and dependable Veterinarian and Front End office is very important to me and mostly important to my pet. I've been a client of Per Medical for almost four years and always happy with their services--from a routine visit to alternative services (nails trimming, bath, boarding).

I have a 9 year old labradoodle and we have FINALLY found a vet we love. Dr. Love (fitting name) is so great. She is caring, thorough, and knowledgable. I feel my dog is well taken care of, their hours are convenient, and prices are reasonable. I'm so glad we found them.

We have been working with Dr. Love for a few months and couldn't ask for a better vet. She has helped us navigate 2 torn acls with our dog, among other ailments, and provided the type of care we have never seen at another veterinary clinic. Highly recommend!

After 3 calls I was not able to make an appointment. unfriendly and confused lady at the phone (the same lady 3 times) did not allow to provide all information at time of the visit. She demanded to have the information at the time I was making the appointment, and I did not have it. I just went somewhere else and they allowed me to provide all information at visit time.

Very pleased with our experience! ???? Dr. Love was fantastic with our 11 year old dog. She was very thorough and called us with all details regarding the care and health of our pet. I’ve been to two other Veterinarian offices in the Alexandria/Springfield area and had poor experiences at both. I definitely recommend this veterinarian office and will continue to take our dog there for all of his care.

I bring both my dogs here for medical as well as grooming. I highly recommend them to all my fur parents ???? Imani Anderson’s customer service is amazing. Both of my babies love her. If you have any doubts on if this is the best place for your pet, throw them in the trash cause they are the best and will take great care of your baby.

This vet is only worried about charging top dollar for their services and up-selling instead of providing the best possible care to pets. More explained below: Our cat had a skin condition that needed a quick vet visit. The Pet Medical Center is not our local vet, but they were one of the few vets with availability on short notice. We had an early morning appointment on Saturday. After a quick examination of our cat, the doctor proceeded to run the gamut of treatment options and added "suggestions". She was not able to determine the cause of the issue, which is understood since cats are fickle creatures. With so many options for treatment, we asked many clarifying questions to find out what was truly necessary. When I say she suggested multiple treatments, I'm not kidding. From antibiotics, to steroids, a de-worming treatment, added vaccinations, topical, injectables, oral options as well as an estimated $1,200 teeth cleaning!. My husband and I had to ask for a moment to make our decisions. The doctor was so busy selling us everything under the sun that she didn't take the time to tell us the side effects. We took our cat home after they cleaned the concerned area, gave him an antibiotic and steroid injection, as well as sent us home with a cream to apply. Starting that night, our cat starting throwing up bile. He refused to eat and was drinking minimally. We worked with him to encourage him to eat and called the vet again on Monday morning. I explained the situation to the front desk assistant and wanted to know what to expect from the medications that were given. I called when they opened in the morning, no call back. I called again in the afternoon and was told they would call back soon. I received a call from a lady at the front desk who said she had spoken with the doctor and she said the ointment shouldn't be causing the vomiting, but said nothing about the injectables. I asked to speak with a vet (since the vet we saw was on vacation). No return call. I'm not sure why they wouldn't take the 5 minutes to check on our cat and make sure he was ok, especially since we were having concerns. Apparently this vet is only worried about making money and not truly the care of their patients. Our cat was throwing up and we had to go elsewhere to get him on the mend.

They really care about your pet. We've been going here for over 6 years.

We love this place. They’re friendly and very informative. Dr.Love takes her time and is very patient with our English Lab. She explains everything thoroughly and gives us options. Dr. Love is the best!
