My favorite vet! dr. wherle is simply the best!

Fast, safe, clean. I trust them with my animal, and trust their advice.

The staff and vets really care about your pet, discuss treatment options when necessary and do not overcharge. Like other vets they have gotten very busy over the past year but you'll find that with any good vet.

Took my bunny here for the first time to get neutered. The staff was so personable, efficient, and informative.

There was an iguana in an abusively small cage.

The doctor and vet techs are lovely and they took great care of my cats, but getting an appointment here should be a new Olympic sport. Out of 7+ calls I made to them, only one got answered by a live person and it took two weeks and two voicemail messages to get someone to respond to my online appt request. Please consider hiring a dedicated admin assistant, cuz this is ridiculous.

I love the staff at Family Pet Veterinary Practice! From the veterinary technicians to Dr. Nate, everyone is so kind and professional. One of my cats is very timid at the vet and they were so kind to him. They did everything they could to comfort him and make the experience less scary for him. Prices are also extremely reasonable!

I called the vet one night when they were still open and they didn’t respond. I left a concerning voicemail about my dog saying that I was concerned she was going to pass away because she couldn’t breathe well and seemed very ill. I then took my dog to the animal hospital and sure enough, she passed away. This vet never called back, EVER!

I am so grateful for this vet practice.. I've been going here for some time now.. Dr Wehrli is very responsive, incredibly informative, and always calls me back with so much information about my pet than I even knew would be helpful. After going through 3 other not as good vets and animal hospitals in moco, it's the best thing ???? Their staff is so helpful, while I had other vets charge me sooo much money (upwards of hundreds of dollars) for repeated blood tests that told me nothing about my cat, and their techs helped me understand the best course of action for my cat. ????????

Staff are very friendly and so are the doctors. They are very professional. It has been difficult to get an appointment so try and make one as soon as you can. I like that they are taking COVID-19 precautions. The only think I can think of that could be Improved on are the prices for spay and neuter for your pets.

I had a great experience all around with Family Pet Vet. They were very kind and took great care of my cat. More affordable than other vets I've gone to. I only deducted a star because they keep a large iguana in a tiny cage in their lobby, and the poor animal is so deprived. Such a strange sight in a place where people supposedly care for animals. I hope they've since moved her to a sanctuary.

Great local vet. Husband and I have been living in Silver Spring temporarily the last two years and had been lucky enough to have this office right behind us. Dr. Wehrli has fabulous chair side manner and he's very patient with my fur baby. We have a cat and he can be a bit difficult. The staff are just as wonderful. They are very patient and when we have made requests for records or just anything I've never had the impression I was bothering them. Some businesses have staff that give you the impresion you are imposing on them for having the audacity to ask something thats in there perview and they are paid to do. Not this office. We are moving soon and are bummed to say goodbye. Hopeing we can find another great local vet in our next city.

Our new rescue dog, Izzy, and I had our first appointment with Dr. Kimberly. It was a very good experience and I recommend the practice highly.

I've taken my dog here for the yearly checkups and a lump removal surgery. Highly recommend.

We had a teeth cleaning in December that was below the price of other vets in the area when I tried to price shop. They worked on my 6 year old ShihTzu only so I know she had great attention from the Vet and 2 Vet Techs. She had a bad ear infection in May and they saw us three time to make sure it was resolved. The Vet is very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend them!

While pet care is expensive, Dr. WEHRLI and the staff at Family Pet take all the stress out of a visit. They take good care of Mickey, listen, and provide advice I need.

Staff are upbeat and helpful -- haven't gone with an emergency yet. The care they provide my dog seems excellent. I wish they had longer hours -- specifically earlier or later appointments on weekdays. Also they close midday on Saturdays. Maybe as the practice grows, they'll extend their hours.

My favorite vet ever! Yes, they never answer the phone. But they have otherwise been amazing. Their system automatically emails me if any vaccinations are about to expire. This is also the first vet who's ever told me what each shot is for and given us a choice. The vet always tells me what he's going to do and why.

Dr. Nate and Dr. Kimberly are knowledgeable, compassionate to dogs and cats!

Dr. Nate and his staff are very knowledgable and caring. We had a mix up with scheduling the appointment but he was still able to see my sick Guinea Pig! The. Bill was very affordable I will be going back here for any pet related needs from now on!

We are switching veterinary practices because we always felt like we were getting bad service at a high price. Further, when we had a medical emergency pop up, we were told if we rushed over that we would be seen before they closed; when we got there, we were told that the Vet had left. It was a pretty time-sensitive matter, so this was really upsetting for us.
