I had two dogs (Cachito and Taquito) attended by Dr. DeAnna. Dr. DeAnna and her staff are very friendly and attentive.

Dr. DeAnna and her team are incredibly kind and conscientious. I've had dogs for 20 years and this is my favorite veterinary practice I've ever had.

Visited for a Vetsulin prescription, Dr. did not ask any questions or care to ask for more info. I found it very odd she just wrote a prescription and said “ just go pick it up somewhere” I asked where again? She stated “ohh we don’t carry VETSULIN here, you have to go pick it up at a any regular pharmacy like cvs.” I asked “ are you sure they carry that there?” And the DR reassured me that this is what everyone does to get their pets Insulin. I immediately thought something was off however she is a professional. (DR. DEANNA ) later I visited the cvs pharmacy. I was very disappointed to learn that what the Dr. had said was NOT true. CVS does NOT carry medications for pets.. this was very stress as I’m running in circles to get the CORRECT information. I called the Vet back for more information. The story completely changed.. Now they said the only place to pick up Vetsulin is Costco... as if I had mentioned to them I had a Cosco card or membership.... why would they give me a written prescription and assume I have a Costco card ?? This was very lazy help on ANIMAL PLACE ASPEN HILL. I spoke to another person there and they mentioned placing a order and having it shipped to the house. WHY WAS THAT NOT MENTIONED AT THE FIRST PLACE ??? very very lazy work and help. Be on your game and question the DR. Unfortunately its the only way to get down to the correct answers . Don’t just take their word for it.

This is a great veterinary hospital.the staff is very attentive and professional. The vets are wonderful. They make you feel like your pet is the greatest. Highly recommend

We have been going to the Animal Place Veterinary Hospital for about three years. We have a very challenging dog, both behaviorally and medically. From the start, Dr. Davis and Dr. Gardsbane have been very accommodating and friendly. We feel like we always get very thorough explanations. They have never rushed us through an appointment. I feel like both doctors are very interested in my dog's well-being, and I have never felt like they are taking advantage of us, financially. It is such a relief to find veterinarians that we can trust in every way.

They always take good care of my furry boy here. He still hates going, but once it's over, he's all smiles.

I have brought my Yorkie here a few times, and every time has been amazing! They are so friendly and attentive.

Moved here 5 months ago and I am usually scared of up selling by Vets but this place was great. They did not try to up sell any products or anything. I went with 2 cats in the same cat carrier and they gave me a free carrier before I left! Staffs are nice and friendly. They followed up next day to know how my cats doing. I would recommend people going there

We love these folks so much! very helpful and they are so nice to our sometimes challenging Bulldog. They have a flexible schedule and are always on time with appointments. Super friendly and great location.

Moved to the area recently and have taken my kitty cat there after she had an accident with her tail. Vet and techs have been really great. I really like that they care about the treatment of your animals and don't want to manhandle them just to get the job done. They take their time to make the animal feel comfortable and I appreciate that. This will be my new primary vet.

Listen: 5 stars do not do them justice. They deserve the milky way. My dog is 15 years old; but, with their care, he might just make it another 15 years. The entire staff is super and, believe it or not, my Luke looks forward to his vet visits. They are not stuck on traditional treatments - they practice leading edge veterinary medicine to include: cold laser treatments; acupuncture; oriental herbs and the latest in breaking veterinarian medicine developments. To put the icing on the cake, they are quite reasonable.

Plays games with our dogs medication. Our old vet would sell us a year supply. This vet sells us small quantities so we have to keep coming back 4x a year for a Full Examination and Bloodwork. His prescription hasn't changed in 7 years. Humans only do thyroid work ups once a year. After appealing to the vet over this multiple times, she graciously gave us an "exception" to come less often. Now they are doing the same thing with our other dogs allergy medicine. Do not recommend this clinic. (They also sell pseudoscience light therapies and acupuncture.)

I have been going to this Veterinary Hospital for years. Originally I changed vets because they offered acupuncture and Chinese herbs to treat my dog's allergies. I continued with them because they have gone above and beyond to treat my dog. They have fit me in several times when my dog had emergency symptoms. You can trust your pet's care to the exceptional staff at this Veterinary Hospital.

We had a very wonderful experience from the time I contacted the office to make an emergency appointed for our senior dog Simba. The receptionist couldn't have been nicer and when we arrived the vet assistant was really great too! Dr. Arlene F. Gardsbane was so good with Simba and she did a great job cleaning and testing his eyes. I highly recommend the Animal Place Veterinary Hospital for your pets. As we all know when your pet is Happy, You are Happy too! ????

This is a great group, I highly recommend them. My babies have been going here for years and we are in and out quickly.

When another vet completely gave up on my dog with Degenerative Disk Disease in his back (said he was as bad as it gets), Dr G and the staff at Animal Place didn't hesitate! They did laser therapy and acupuncture, along with Chinese herbs and standard pain meds and literally saved his life! He is now running and playing like a puppy again and feeling great! I could never express the amount of gratitude that I have for the staff there. They are truly the best veterinary practice I have ever been to - they care, they LISTEN, and they take the time to fully understand your concerns and to get to know your pet. I have had pets my entire life and have been to more vets than I can count, and they are by far the best I have ever been to. I owe them Diego's life. Thank you to all at Animal Place - you are the best!

I love this animal hospital. They were all so friendly. I had a question about my kitten's bed and I immediately got a response! The ease of getting an appointment to suit my schedule is awesome.

First time client and first impression was very good. Everyone nice and friendly and clearly interested in ensuring the health and well being of our kittens. Got a good feeling from them and anticipate a good relationship in the years to come.

Dr. Gardsbane is both a wonderful vet and a wonderful person. She was quick to pick up that something was wrong with out recently-adopted boxer when the shelter vet had seen the same symptoms but hadn't understood the seriousness. Our boxer had cancer when we adopted him. We were able to give the boxer a home for the last months of his life, and Dr. Gardsbane was able to keep him happy during that time. When the time came for him to pass away, Dr. Gardsbane and the staff provided a safe, gentle place for our family to gather and be with our dog when he passed. Dr. Gardsbane and the staff were kind, understanding, and patience and did not rush us or make us feel like we were anything but welcome. She is a gem and we are lucky to have such a great vet.

I have a 9 week old puppy who fell off the couch and I totally panicked and called Animal Place. I was planning on having them be her vet, but was so impressed at their helpfulness and that could see Lola that same day! (she was fine :) ) The staff, nurses, and vets are very friendly and always answer all my questions! And I always have a lot!

5 plus stars for this available, always thoughtful team of veterinarians who take care of my rowdy dog with kindness and patience. I took Gaga in for her yearly shots and physical and because we had to wait a few minutes, was given a free nail trim. Fun and fabulous staff!

Dr. Gardesbane and Dr Davis are terrific with my aging Boston Terrier, Conrad. The staff always is happy to see him. Conrad absolutely loves going to the Vet! The staff is so caring. Losing my Boston Terrier was very hard last June, but they were so caring and made it as easy as it could possibly be. Maya is our newest Rescue and just loves all the attention she gets here.
