I cannot say enough excellent things about A Cat Practice. It's comforting to know that my Hammy, Pitsi and Giz are receiving quality care. Dr. Levy is the best of the best and she has an amazing team working with and for her.

A Cat Practice has been wonderful. They've taken care of Yue and Stewart for their ear problems, but most recently Dr Levy took care of Tommy. Tommy was a delicate situation near End of Life. We discussed his labs, his exam, recent protocol we'd been through at home, as well as recent visits with other veterinarians, and came to a conclusion together. Tommy's dad and I made arrangements with a vet to come to our home and let him go that evening. Dr Levy was familiar with our mobile vet of choice, and said we were in good hands.

This is our second cat to be seen here. I can't say enough good things about this team of professionals. You get straight forward analysis and fast attentive service. Dr Levy knows what the heck she is doing and takes the time to give you follow up emails and fast reliable suggestions. Nice work!

Treatment was quick and they helped me transition from a state with different pet requirements. I was able to leave with prescription cat food same day.

Unfortunately after 20 years we had to put our sweet Mr. Harry down. Called a few vets as we currently did not have one and could not find one that would help. When I called A Cat Practice they accommodated us right away. It was very difficult for my husband and I but they treated us with kindness and warmth. If and when I get another cat I will definitely use this practice.

We've been bring our oldest cat here for a while and were initially very happy with the practice. But we've been unimpressed lately with the level of knowledge, concern, and care provided. When we brought in one of our new kittens with breathing problems, there was no push to figure out the underlying reason for his issues beyond a negative heartworm test. We had to ask for further recommendations on what to do next after the doctor was content to leave it alone. We decided to change practices after two other vet practices were able to immediately identify the galloping sound in our kitten's heart that this practice was not. We've also been unable to get this practice to confirm flea medication prescriptions with Petco Pharmacy. Both ourselves (phone, email) and Petco (fax, phone) reached out multiple times over two weeks. This is extremely disappointing because our cats walk on leash and don't understand why they now can't go for walks with us.

It is so great to have a neighborhood clinic devoted just to cats - our two cats have been so well cared for at A Cat Practice. The entire staff is excellent and loves felines. We have never waited for service. The vets are very gentle and clearly love cats. So happy they are right near us!

I took my cat in to rule out diabetes based on her symptoms. They ran labs, or course. The labs totaled $277 and included fecal studies (not performed) and urinalysis (not performed because they were unable to get a sample). I called to inquire about a partial refund for the labs not performed and was told they are a "bundle" and cannot be unbundled. I was instructed to bring in urine and stool (which I have declined, but still will not be refunded). This is both poor communication (the client should be told what labs you're ordering/what is necessary) and poor practice (billing for services not performed). Including office visit it was $356 which seems *outrageous,* compared to prior vet experiences. Buyer beware and ask what they're billing you for.

Staff were all super friendly and I was able to get an appointment soon when all other local vets weren't taking new patients.

Doctor was very nice and attentive. The business is very clean an welcoming. Only issue I had was there is only one way in and it's a set of stairs so anyone with health issues will have a problem going up steps like my dad did . Other than that the Cat Practice is great !

We can't thank the owner/ staff at A Cat Practice enough for squeezing us in when no other vet could, or would, to help us give our 18 y.o. cat a kind, stress free and peaceful end when he took an unexpected turn in health. The staff was friendly, sympathetic, very professional and very thoughtful despite us not being patients prior to this. There is not enough praise to express our gratitude to them for being there for us during this stressful time.

My cat did not die, and neither did my bank account.

Update to the original review below (which I'd prefer not to delete to show how A Cat Practice handles complaints): I got a call from Leslie which wasn't needed but very thoughtful and really appreciated the personal outreach. It seems like this was a one-off incident and I hope this person has good luck in her new role. Was generally very happy with the quality of care my cat got here, but the new associate at the front desk is a different story. I paid in advance and went to pick up my cat's medication, knocked the (locked because of COVID) front door. The associate saw me, acknowledged me and never bothered to see what I needed. I stood outside in 95 degrees for her to eventually come to the door to help another person who arrived after me. When I asked why I wasn't being helped, she told me I needed to call (as if i needed to announce an appt to picked up paid for medication?!) and proceeded to assist the other person. Luckily, one of the other technicians proceeded to help me. All I can think of is what if I came there with my cat because of an emergency to someone who refused to open the door

Took my kitty to get neutered. And unlike when i got the older one spayed the medication is so easy to give. With my older cat i went to a clinic in dc and the medicine she kept spitting it back out. But with the one for Mickey its been so easy. Will continue to come here for my cats.

I really wanted to like this place but I’ll just find a different vet. First visit and they give my cat medicine that too strong. You’d think they take my cats weight into consideration. Next I go back for a liquid antibiotic and it’s open. On the bottle it says don’t use if the seal is broken so now my cat can’t get her medicine until they open on Monday. Update: After calling the doctor explained the medication had to be mixed which is why the seal was broken. The medication that was too strong is a low dose and can be cut. This information would have been helpful when I received the medication. One star removed b/c of the communication.

If you have a fur baby or several, this is the right place to take them! We have gone to this practice for YEARS, and are my favorite vets I have ever worked with! They love your kitties ALMOST as much as you do! They are willing to do as much, or as little, is right for you and your kitties!! Thank you for all your care and support!!

Been going here for over a year and the vet services they provide is fantastic. Although, be aware, they only care for cats, as the name suggests.

Today (11/20/2020) we took our newest addition Tru to this practice. They are not cheap, but I believe you get more than what you pay for here. The employees are absolutely delightful. They are doing a great job keeping everything flowing with strict covid precautions. The Doctor explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions and follow ups to those questions. My cat was calm the whole time, she feels comfortable here and with her special needs it is important that she doesn't get stressed (she attacks her tail) they take their time and do an amazing job.

Fritz had an upper-respiratory tract infection, and we were worried. A Cat Practice got him in for a next-day appointment. They actually took him in fifteen minutes *early,* and took excellent care of him. This was our first appointment with A Cat Practice. We will absolutely be taking Fritz to them in the future.

The practice did a very good job during COVID and practicing safe and healthy procedures. I came a bit early and was told that my cats could be seen before their appointment time. There were directions posted outside the building on how to stay inside the car, to call the reception and how to bring up your carriers and leave them outside. The staff as well as the doctor were very nice on the phone. They asked how I was in general then reported on the cats health. The staff came outside with masks/gloves, took my payment and did a great job in handing over my cats. The check-in and check-out process was all handled very well over the phone. I didn't feel stressed or worried at all. They were all caring and welcoming. Thanks Cat Practice :) I know Leo and Lea appreciated the love, care and attention.

The staff did a great job to treat patients during the CV-19 pandemic. The wait time was minimal and the exam was quick. The doctor provided information and took the time to review all questions and gave great feedback. Thanks!

Good vet clinic for cats but expensive. The location is nice and customer service is good but the products and services are high-priced, perhaps because it recently reopened.
