Perfect from start to finish- wonderful communication! They are so friendly, professional, knowledgeable, accommodating, great at their craft and knowledge of dogs. My very furry Malamute’s grooming was impeccable! He looks and feels great! Return customers for sure.

Had my 11 month boxer in for daycare for the first time. The staff clearly got to know my sog and his personality in the first short visit there. The ability to drop in as needed at a reasonable rate is important to me. My dog came home exhausted which was an added bonus for my evening time. Looking forward to the next time I use them in a few days .

Our 1.5 year old toy aussiedoodle goes to LOR for grooming every other month. They do a great job!

Highly recommend!!! I have an anxious Yorkie mix, and the groomer did an amazing job making my pup feel comfortable. It took about 2.5-3hrs total for the full groom holiday package, and the groomer gave me a call about 15 mins before my pup was done. When I went to pick up my pup, the groomer gave me a recap of how things went and ensured I got the festive picture of my lil pup. It was a really fantastic experience, and we are looking forward to our next visit. Note: the groomer was incredibly flexible and squeezed us in for a full groom on short notice.

Very warm and congenial staff. Upon entering, you can immediately tell pets are like family for the staff: pups running around and interacting in a bedroom-like setting right next to the front desk. Cubby sleep areas for pets are visible upon entering. The staff are warm, and my groomer was kind and caring as she looked my dog over and assessed what grooming services she would need to do for him.

My name is Carla and I took my dog in name Mack for the 1st time to Life of Riley today. He is a mini Bernadoodle that just turned one. He has a lot of hair but was very matted! His nails were very long that Petsmart couldn’t finish! I had brought many brushes for Doodles to get out the mats but it was too much! I googled the best groomers near me and Life of Riley came up. I googled their reviews and had such great grooming reviews and they also have live chat! Mack is my baby he has a temperament that he doesn’t like his nails done or being groomed. I had given him 1/2 Benadryl to calm him before his appointment. Life of Riley groomer Brittany took very good care of him that he was pretty much calm the whole entire time! She had to cut him down because of the mats and there’s no scratches on him from the clippers! He looks awesome! Brittany, your the best and I will definitely come back to you!

I scheduled online for next day. Very quick and convenient. Groomer was very attentive to what I wanted. She even called midway to ask about ear trim.

We have been coming to life of Riley for over 7 years. The last grooming visit was rushed, hours late, and poorly done;however, we wanted to give them another try based on our previous experiences. Since I am a teacher, I made arrangements to have my daughter pick him up. She called before and they said he was ready. She arrived and they charged us and went to get him. He was not done, in fact they had not even started. We dropped him off fours before! They said it would be at least another hour. In the interim, I received three different invoices with two of them being labeled as “tip”. When I called they were rude, accused just daughter of being the problem And my dog still was not done. They groomed him quickly shaving him short when we requested a longer cut for three falll. The ears are mangled with several visible uneven cuts. When he was finally ready, the were aggressive with my daughter blaming her for “her mom” calling. I still have not heard from the manager. So disappointed- we loved Life Riley. I will no longer recommend them and will not be returning. DON’T take your pet here anymore. It is not the same!

Took my two dogs for grooming at Life of Riley. Entire staff was friendly and helpful and my dogs were very happy when I picked them up. Will definitely be back! Thank you!

I love this place. This is our first time bringing our dog Pickles there and they did an absolutely amazing job on the cut. Doodle cut is hard and they went above and beyond to make sure we are happy!!!

My dogs love staying at Life of Riley and getting groomed here. When they get picked up, they jump all over the driver at the door from joy because they know they will have a great time. I also send them here for grooming and they do a really fabulous job cutting their hair, both of whom are mix dogs so it’s hard to decide what looks best. But they always go above and beyond and deliver the cutest trim from them. I love this place and my dogs do too! ❤️

My fur babies are very well cared for when they are boarded and groomed here. They also have lots of fun at daycare with the other dogs. These people are very attentive and they truly love animals. I am always at ease when I have to leave my babies overnight.

We just moved to the area and needed a place to board our blind rescue. Life of Riley was fantastic for her. They really showed her love and that’s so important to me. I took her in a few months later for grooming and Daisy Mae was remembered by everyone. That says a heck of a lot about their love of dogs.

I have written several five star reviews for Life of Riley (LOR) on various websites over the past 5+ years that I was a client. However, over the past 18 months—and since they changed ownership—it has gone completely downhill. The LOR groomers have missed areas and/or botched my pups hair, including his underside and tail. They then proceeded to charge me a new, unexpected $20 fee because my dog (according to the groomer) was difficult… After two awful grooming experiences, and expressing concerns to no avail, I will never return to LOR.

BEWARE. CHECK TO MAKE SURE THAT THE DOG YOU ARE PICKING UP IS IN FACT ***YOUR*** dog. Today I parked and walked in to pick up my dog and he was already in the lobby- seconds away from going home with another person. The employee at the register apologized for the mix up, but seemed more concerned about a glitch happening on her computer and how much tip I intended to leave. We have been pleased with the quality of grooming at this location, and have sent our dog in several times for a haircut. Until now, we were pleased with the quality of cut and our dog seemed happy enough at pickup so we had no concerns. Since they take the dogs collars off when they arrive, and they just about sent my beloved family dog HOME WITH A STRANGER, I do not think that they have a way of keeping track of the pets in their care. I will not be sending my dog back. I genuinely question their organizational abilities and professionalism.

I was extremely pleased with the job Nicole did on my poodle, Teddy. I presented her with a picture and Teddy received the exact cut in that picture. Also, he was done before I was told he’d be ready for pick up. As promised, I was sent a picture of Teddy when his cut was done & asked if he looked acceptable or if I saw any adjustments that needed to be made. I was very impressed with the entire process at Life of Riley!

My dog is super anxious and the groomer he works with is pure magic. I can tell by his stomach because it’s completely even. He feels extremely comfortable with her. My baby bid a rescue and my whole world. I greatly appreciate how Life of Riley is very client centered. Literally I live in Virginia and commute here because of the amazing staff!

I am so happy with the grooming department, Nicole and everyone else were great with Sasha who is not the best behaved while getting groomed. Sasha also looked like a showdog what a great job by the team!!

Life of Riley has been a great place for our pup to spend time while we're out of town. They're courteous and really seem to love the dogs they're caring for.

Always well done the nail trim on my dog, I recommend to make an appointment a week before because it is busy.

I called Life of Riley early morning in regards to getting my dog groomed. Staff was friendly, explained to me how to schedule an appointment. Able to book an appointment for that very morning. I have a big dog (Cane Corso) and they took great care of him. Looked, smelled, felt great and pricing was very reasonable!

I come here every month and my pup is always super happy.
