I have been taking my three cats Kenhaven for over 5 years . Looks like they have a new gal at the front desk who needs to find another job not associated with pets. She is so rude and is not polite. Lady, please find another job this not the place for you !! People around animals are very kind and sweet. When I let her know my cat was unwell I was flat out refused to be seen by the doctor . I am sure she took the call and not the doctor . Can Kenhaven ensure to see you have good staff ? I might change my vet now since I don’t want to deal with sick people like this .. the lady at the front desk needs to know how to answer .., disgusting!!! I had to go to call three vets before I could reach a kind vet who treated my cat despising closing time. Please learn from them as to how you need to treat people.

I really like the staff and doctor at Kenhaven. I am a pet owner who gave up on veterinarian care because it was always a symphony of guilt and up-selling based on the guilt. I recently received two small pets, one of whom promptly injured himself. Dr. Sohi has been a diligent and kind doctor who is helping me get my pet well, not trying to guilt induce me into piling on unnecessary procedures onto a pet being treated for an injury, something I experienced recently, before Dr Sohi.

I was traveling with my dogs from OH to MD when late in the day, I realized late in the day that i was in need of vet. I googled veterinary hospital and Kenhaven was list as near me. I gave them a call every near their closing time and they offered to stay open till i could get to there. Their level of caring brought me to tears and i felt the very least i could do is to highly recommend them to anyone with pets in the Rockville area.

I would just like to take the time to write a review for this office. I had a previous encounter with another vet over the phone that went very south very quickly. I followed up by calling this vet and speaking with Christine. It was 5 minutes to closing time and she stayed on the phone and listened to all my concerns and helped me schedule a visit for my puppy. I felt very comforted in a very stressful situation. Christine was very empathetic and knowledgeable which made me comfortable to seek treatment here for my puppy. I scheduled an appointment while speaking with her. A few days later an issue arose with my puppy and I spoke with Lynn. Lynn was truly fantastic in helping me set up dropping off a stool sample for my puppy who was very sick all night. While dropping off the stool sample I met Christine, and she helped me get puppy food that would help my puppy while she is sick. The customer service and care I’ve received as a new puppy mommy has been by far the best. I cannot wait to bring my puppy in this Friday for her first wellness visit/ shots as I feel she will receive the best care. Thank you Christine/ Lynn for your time. I know that I will continue to be impressed with this practice and cannot wait to bring my baby here for years to come.

$50.00 hidden fee for “standard examination” every time. We were previously told that this did not apply each time. No refund was granted after expressing that an examination was not needed before bringing our pet in; since a recent one was already given. We only needed shots; no general examination; fee was charged anyways. Vets should do the general brief free check-upstandard, if other care is needed, as a part of their Hippocratic oath for the animals.

Let me just start by saying I work for a vet clinic and resort. I called Kenhaven to just give names of pets we will be seeing or boarding soon so we needed medical records. I understand how busy hospitals get, so when I was asked to be on hold, I said sure and didn't mind. I was on hold for 10 minutes, no update as to why it was taking so long or acknowledgement of what was taking so long - so I hung up and called back. Immediately was asked if I could be put on hold, I said "I would rather not wait another 10 minutes, I just want to-" (as in I was going to tell her if I could give her these names of 2 pets so she can just send the records when she has time) and whoever it was cut me off and said "Well then you can call back in 20 minutes because I have 3 lines on hold and yours is the LEAST important." Hah. Real professional.

This place is amazing. Went above and beyond with helping me care for my cats and dogs over the years. Wonderful Dr's, front desk staff, everyone. They have been able to squeeze in my sick pets on short notice multiple times. Very caring, follow-up from the doctors after your visit to check on pets. Very thorough explanation of test results and plans of treatment for your pets. I recommend this to anyone in the area for your pets.

I brought my pet whyda in on 6/25/2021 for her shots, due to the poor way the handled my pet she’s now been limping for two days and can’t even walk or play and run. And they said theirs nothing they can do that is very unprofessional i never expected this from kenhaven.

Another great experience with KenHaven! The doctors, vet techs, and front desk staff are amazing. They answer all my silly questions and find humor when my dogs play dead when it's time to go back for check up. I'm very happy with KenHaven!

We have been bringing our cats here for over a year now for vet care and boarding. The staff is super helpful, patient, and organized. Their services are reasonably priced and the veterinarians are transparent in planning our pets' care, which I greatly appreciate. Despite vet trips not being our cats' favorite thing, one of our cats always makes a new staff friend when she goes.

We recently moved to the area and we're looking for a new groomer and vet. Kenhaven is now our go-to for both! Their groomer Susan wonderful! She took such good care of our dog who has very wiry hair and can be hard to work with. He had no issues and looks so good! She even gave him a little tie and some doggie cologne! The staff in reception were so welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be bringing our dog here again.

The only place in Montgomery County that I could find to do an overseas health certificate with less that three weeks notice. Super helpful. Super friendly. Just a great experience.

This place is really phenomenal. They take such good care of my little Willow. Everyone is always so kind and helpful. I don’t see myself going anywhere else for my dogs care.

Kenhaven wasn't famous, but we picked it because of reviews and homey feeling. They took great care of our cat Keviiiin, and now they groom our Australian Shepherd, Foxy beautifully and keep her going fine! Extremely nice staff and doctors all around.

Dr. Manzoor speaks with a sarcastic, not confident or comforting tone. I went there twice and each time I had him I always left unsatisfied. The second time was the worst. I was worried about my dog because he wasn't eating, and he suggested to run all these tests that were expensive. I paid for an examination fee yet he said NOTHING to me about how he was doing physically-I left wondering what his heart rate, temperature and everything okay? Was his teeth okay? Was his ears/eyes okay? I wish I asked to speak to him before I paid + left but you would think a vet has the common sense to talk to you before you go like any other professional setting. The vet receptionist looked at me like a deer in headlights as if It was weird to ask if the vet would see me and talk to me before I leave. She said, oh he'll call you after he sees the test results. The vet called and said everything is fine. They didn't offer me to see any of his lab records. I don't even know if they did anything to my dog. I feel like because of COVID they get to hide behind closed doors and say they're running all these tests, take your money, just to say he's okay. Even if they actually did run the tests, I have no proof what so ever.

I have been taking my animals to Kenhaven since 1986 and it has been a great decision!! The doctors and staff are so understanding and kind. They all love animals and treat your animals as if they were theirs. I tell Dr. Manzoor (owner) what a great staff he has and how well my animals and I are treated. The staff and doctors go out of their way to take care of my animals. I am so comfortable with the doctors and staff in diagnosing any problems and in the care they provide. I have complete trust in everyone and highly recommend Kenhaven to anyone who has a pet and wants it get the best of care.

I decided to visit Kenhaven for my kitten's first wellness check. As a first time pet parent, I was already nervous and intent on learning as much as possible. After handing my kitten to the vet, he was back in my hands in seven minutes, and the vet did not come out to speak to me or give me any information. Instead, one of the front-desk staff members told me my kitten's weight and then charged me $80 for the wellness check and for a stool examination. The following day, I returned with a stool sample and left. They only contact you if something is wrong with the stool, so it was fine that I never heard back about that. But I thought that since no one spoke with me at the hospital, maybe someone would call me with information about how my kitten's check-up went, or about anything I should know. I didn't know if this lack of communication and speedy appointment was normal so I waited until I visited another vet to write my review, and the experiences were polar opposites. Given the great reputation of Kenhaven, I was disappointed.

Much cheaper that our previous vet and since they had a sale for $19 office visit fee. 1 cat was 43 dollars total and the other was under 149 for yearly vet workup. And this was for Carnie. We got out of there with bathings for free really.we were super happy
