Staff are easy to get in touch with and respond promptly to questions. They are detail-oriented and make sure to “check everything out” and be thorough without subjecting kitties to tests/procedures that aren’t necessary and may be stressful. Dr. Smith is the most thorough and caring vet to have ever seen my cats, spending over an hour with each of them on their initial exam - my only regret is that I didn’t switch to Just Cats sooner. Dr. Smith found son emerging concerns that my previous vet practice (since 2012) had glossed over, failed to mention or missed entirely. Thanks to Dr. Smith, all of these issues were noticed early enough that they should be able to be mitigated/managed/avoided fairly easily. I would rate Just Cats 15/10. They are probably not “the cheapest” on the planet but my kitties’ health is worth it, and I’m confident that their proactive, preventive approach to veterinary care will actually reduce my veterinary expenses in the long run by improving their long-term health and helping to prevent/mitigate any chronic conditions. My cat Scarlett had a dental cleaning with Just Cats recently. She is a senior (> 12 year old) cat and recovered beautifully from the procedure; staff took incredible care of her and made sure she was alert and feeling well enough before sending her home. They even took X-rays so any unnecessary extractions could be avoided (she needed none, to my surprise). Any procedures for a senior cat that involve anesthesia always cause some anxiety, but I was confident that Scarlett was in the best hands possible. Thank you all for taking such good care of my kitties!!!

Outstanding! From doctors to vet techs to receptionists, everyone at Just Cats has been wonderful with our family. Couldn't recommend more highly for professionalism, quality care, and basic human (and feline!) kindness.

I love my cat so much but she can definitely be really mean. They’re so good and patient with her here! They listen to any concerns and clearly really care about her health and well being. She’s had all of her yearly visits for the last 4 years here as well as an emergency visit and a surgery. I feel really good about her being in their care! We’re moving soon and I’m really dreading having to try to find a vet as good as them when we do! I can’t recommend them enough!

Everything was puuuurrrrrfect! I love bringing my cat here because I know everyone cares so much about cats, which is definitely hard to find these days.

The Vets and staff treated us with the utmost respect and provided excellent care to our two older Tonkinese cats. One cat had extensive dental work done and showed an excellent recovery. He also had some thyroid issues and both Dr. Tew and Dr. Smith took the time to explain the treatment options, as well as all of the possible outcomes/problems of each. The clinic has been very helpful in maintaining email contact with us, reassuring us about the selection of the 'next steps'.

Dr Chapman was very thorough and attentive.

The doctors and staff go out of their way to keep my cat calm during appointment. There was no rushing to get her through the steps needed. I highly recommend this practice.

I just started taking my kitty when I moved to the area. I like that its a cat only clinic. The staff are always nice and friendly. They take good care of my fur baby.

Wish I could give them ten stars! I've been using them as my vet for two years and they are wonderful. I used them for boarding this month and WOW -- everyone was so friendly and professional! They took me on a full tour, answered all my questions, helped my anxious cat adjust and relax, and even emailed me pictures of him while I was traveling. He was happy as a lark when I picked him up. This clinic is outstanding!

I brought Amelie to Just Cats Clinic earlier today. She's my best friend of twenty years, and so I try to return the favor by being picky about her care. I had nothing to nitpick during our visit today. From the vet tech to the doctor, I saw her getting compassionate and nuanced care every moment. Our time their didn't feel rushed, but it also remained efficient. Amelie is currently sleeping deeply after a big day in the outside world. But she looks a bit happier for having made the visit. We'll definitely be returning to Just Cats Clinic.

The facility appears to be very well equipped and the staff are both competent and friendly. I was there with a friend's cat of whole they took great and good care. As a third part interested observer I'd strongly recommend the facility.

From the moment you enter the clean, cheerful and friendly clinic, you and your pet will be treated with respect and care. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and kind and greet you with smiles and get you in quickly. The veterinary staff and doctors are smart, honest and kind. They offer treatment options with care and consideration for pets and their humans alike. Both Dr. Lu and Dr. Elizabeth are outstanding vets! Our two elderly cats were more relaxed than they had ever been coming to this clinic where they were treated with the utmost care. I couldn't recommend it highly enough!

Wink is normally skittish but in your care she seems more at ease. The team always treats us like family, along with thorough examinations and testing, and taking the time to explain symptoms, results, and treatments - along with follow ups. My girl is definitely in the best care at Just Cats.

Excellent place to take your cat!!! My cat is both diabetic and has IB. Dr. Smith did an excellent job of testing my cat but also laying out a plan to hopefully get my cat back to better health. The staff are very cat centric and handled my cat as if they had always known him. What a pleasure to work with them!

I discovered Just Cats Clinic about a year ago when my cat had injected thin elastic string and I needed a second opinion. I was amazed at the level of care and honesty in general about cat care. I decided then that once my current plan expired I would move our cats to Just Cats Clinic permanently. Everyone is so nice and beyond thorough! And it is a calming environment for cats as it is Just Cats! :-)

When it comes to my cat, I trust them. My cat gets really scared of new places and they handle her with great care, you cannot ask for better.

Dr. Tew and Sam were incredible for a first time pet owner. My cat, Biscuit, was anxious and so was I. They were genuine people who talked me through all of my questions with empathy and accessible language, making sure I understood everything and had agency in the decisions and treatment for caring for Biscuit.

I can’t express in words my gratitude for just cats clinic! They not only greatly helped my kitty Gym, they helped me too because I was a mess with worry when I walked into their clinic for the first time. Dr. Smith, Anna and the entire staff are wonderful and caring people who really have your pet’s best interest at heart! Love you guys and thank you from the bottom of my heart! ❤️

I switched to Just Cats Clinic from another cats & dog clinic because I had a cat that was really sick and thought I would do better at a clinic that specialized in cats. Dr. Smith was very attentive to Milo and took a lot of time talking about his issues and the prognosis. She talked about alternatives and sent me off with cat food samples and checked in a few days later with test results and some ideas for meds. I really felt taken care of and in good hands.

Your clinic, staff, transparency with pricing, handling of cats, comfort also for me, concern and check-ins after the surgery, all of these are 100% fantastic. I have nothing to add that would have made the experience even better.

The entire staff is caring and knowledgeable. I’ve taken my cat there for many years and trust them completely.

This review has been well over due, but ever since we moved to the area (about 4 years ago), we've been taking both our cats to Just Cats Clinic and I can only say amazing things. The quality of care, professionalism, knowledge, and the environment provided by all the staff is impeccable. I truly feel like everyone in the office genuinely cares about cats and go above and beyond. From annual check ups to surgery, I always feel informed about everything being done to my cats as well as the status of their health. I can not put into words how grateful I am for everybody in Just Cats Clinic and how much love and care they put into their work. When my eldest cat had to have surgery, upon returning home, I would receive multiple check in calls and emails making sure she was healing ok and doing well at home. I understand for some the prices may be on the higher end, but personally, given the level of attention given for patients during and post-visits, I think its very well justified. Honestly, I cant imagine finding any other clinic that can match up to the quality of care and service provided here!

The best vet I have come across anywhere I have lived. I was in the NOVA area for only two years but Just Cats Clinic had a significant impact on the improvement of my cat's quality of life. They fixed her eyelids and now she can see better and has significantly less irritation. The staff were all excellent and the boarding facilities are wonderful. They also have the best COVID safe visit procedures out there. The video visit during the examination via the Pet Desk app is excellent. All vets in the new city I am living in take the cat in, you wait in the car and then they come back to talk with you. I miss having Just Cat's Clinic to take care of my cat. They are going to be a very difficult act to follow when finding care for her in my new city.

My cat panics and throws her weight around so much at the vet that she once sent me to urgent care with deep scratches after just trying to weigh her.The vets and techs at Just Cats Clinic kept her calm and relaxed the whole time. She got the care she needed with none of usual the fear. If you have a high anxiety, panicky cat I cannot recommend this place enough. I also appreciated the video chat option so I could watch my cat and discuss with the vets/answer questions in real time.

Took my 14yo kitty there for a last ditch effort to save his life. Sadly, I had to have him put down. Dr Smith and her staff could not have been kinder or more compassionate. I'm moving my other kitty there for all care going forward. The video conference while she was examining my kitty was the best. It really made a huge difference for me.

I really enjoy this clinic. They go above and beyond with my two boys. They are always there when I need them. The staff and veterinarians are knowledgeable and helpful. Even without pet insurance I don’t feel that they overcharge. Unless I move away, they will always be my 1st choice for my cats.
