At a recent vaccine only appt our dog was taken back immediately and was in and out in 5 min. Staff were incredibly nice. We love Dr Harris and Dr Jason is wonderful as well!

I have used Potomac Animal Hospital ever since I moved to Potomac five + years ago . I have always been completely satisfied!!

We generally have had very good experience with PAH. Staff is friendly and professional - which is especially noteworthy given fast paced environment and often demanding clientele. Vets are quite knowledgeable and do a good job explaining situation and options.

All the above are accurate. Our past two dogs and certainly our current dog have each received the best possible care and service possible. There’s never a long wait, people try to get you in to see the doctor as quickly as possible, the staff knows The clients and the animals, every diagnosis and prescription for treatment has been excellent, they are always very very upfront about the cost of any treatment before it is given and most importantly they absolutely love their patients and owners Who are treated truly like family. Dr. Jason Scott is totally exceptional in his expertise professionalism and care. We can’t say enough about this practice and the love and interest they put into the handling of each and every pet that comes through that door! Honestly we would never ever consider any other veterinarian practice but Potomac animal hospital.

We've been taking our cats and dog here for many years, from kittens/puppy thru geriatric, and even end of life for 2 cats. They've seen us through regular care, minor and serious illnesses, and dental care. They are always kind, caring, and spend the time to explain the options for the care your pet needs. Highly recommend.

I moved to Potomac in 2014. I have a little shih Tzu which is the love of my life, my little Molly. She's had some serious health issues since she was little and Potomac Animal Hospital, especially Dr. Scott and Dr. Scott have taken such good care of her. They keep me posted when she requires further testing, they call me personally to discuss her test results which gives me peace of mind that my baby girl is in good care. I also have a jack Russell terrier that was bitten by a copperhead snake in May. We rushed him immediately to the Potomac Animal Hospital and they knew immediately that he was in trouble and called ahead to another animal hospital to treat him before the venom got too far into his body. He had a full recovery. My little Molly girl is also groomed at the hospital. They do a great job, she looks fantastic and is not stressed out by the whole process. I am really glad that I chose Potomac Animal Hospital to treat my dogs. They are so friendly at the front desk. Always smiling. Always willing to help and will answer any question when I call, no matter how silly it may be! Potomac Animal Hospital is my vet/grooming clinic because I trust them. I always feel like I am in the best hands and my babies are receiving the best care! I would certainly recommend this facility to anybody looking for a new vet or somebody relocating and in need of a new facility!

Dogs were getting shots and wellness exams nails clipped dog food, benadryl, By time I arrived home Maltese was vomiting and the terrier was falling over can't walk , he won't eat and I have no more money to take him back . I get him to drink some water but that is it. The doctor was good and the people were good. Had to wait outside till someone came to get us. I wonder if something was wrong with one of the thre vaccines, or more than one .

A caring staff that loves animals.

I have been taking my dogs here for almost 20 years. From new puppy vaccinations to, sadly, permanent rest, and everything in between, I have anyways received excellent personalized service. I like being able to take my dogs to the same place for boarding, grooming, and wellness; its so much less stressful on my dogs when they are familiar with the facility. They also have everything I need for my dogs including a large selection of food, lots of different toys and treats and grooming products!

The staff and doctors at Potomac Animal Hospital recognize our pets by name and are always caring and professional. Our lab doesn't hesitate when she gets to the front door. She is happy to visit the vet!

We first met the PAH when our dog ran away, and a call from animal control told us he had been found--weeks later--and was at PAH. When I picked him up, I was told that they saw him beside the road in the Village and were concerned that he's be injured by a car, so they took him in. They reported him to the shelter but didn't turn him over, because he was just a mutt and would not have been kept alive for long. They kept him, on their own, for several weeks. We decided that anyone so nice should be taking care of our animals, and now, forty years later, they still are, through innumerable cats and dogs. Everyone there loves animals and they're very kind to them. The two Doctors Scott have great skills and do a wonderful job--and they both care a lot about animals. I can't recommend them strongly enough, would give them all the stars that there are if I could. I'm very grateful for countless kindnesses that they've shown my family and especially my pets over these years.

They always take very great care of my animals, but there is one woman who answers the phone and is not friendly and gives me lots of attitude.

We have gone to Potomac Animal Hospital for over 35 years. The practice has seen us through our pets' excited beginnings and our sad farewells, sharing in our happiness and sorrow. The practice is professional and always gives us information and care we can trust for our four legged family members.

My husband passed away suddenly and then 5 days after I buried him my mom died. I needed to board my dog for the first time, and Potomac Animal Hospital took really good care of her for me. I definitely recommend them and will use them again if needed.

I have taken my huskies for over 10 years at PAH. Simply they are excellent on all aspects. Dr. Scott is excellent and all of them are friendly and caring. What more? Prices are much less than Tenley .

My family has been coming here for almost 2 decades and I've been coming with my own dog for about 5 years. My beagle and I primarily see Dr. Jason who is always patient, kind, knowledgeable, and pragmatic. Checking in and out is usually pretty speedy, overall friendly and familial atmosphere, facility is always clean and tidy.

About two years ago I adopted an older dog with some serious health issues. Under Dr. Morrow's care, my dog's long-standing health issues have been managed and/or resolved. Most recently, she found and successfully removed a small cancerous tumor from his leg, for which I am so grateful. She also takes great care of my cat and makes visits with both animals easy for us. The staff is kind, the facility is clean, and the fees are more than reasonable.

They are exceptionally caring and competent. I trust them to care for my pets.

This place is the best! Dr. Jason and all of his staff are wonderful. They've helped me get my dog through some difficult health and personality circumstances with their medical expertise, compassion, and personal touch. I am extremely grateful for all of their medical help and advice over the last five years. I tried several other vets before I found Dr. Jason and his staff, but never found anyone as helpful as the people at Potomac Animal Hospital.

Best vet and office team in the area! Dr. Jason Scott always takes his time with each of our dogs and we never feel rushed - even when the waiting room is packed! He is very patient & explains all options from both a medical and financial aspect. He is an excellent veterinarian and my three dogs love him and the rest of the team. Return calls are always timely and can't say enough positive about this practice.

Potomac Animal Hospital is amazing. I trust them 100% with my two dogs and cat. My dogs pull me in the door as soon as they get out of the car to go see their friends. The boarding is easy and I never have to worry about them when I am out of town. If they notice anything when you drop off (like an ear infection, skin issues, any specific need of your pet while boarding) they will call you and ask if you want it addressed by their doctors while there. Dr Morrow is very compassionate and always discusses my pets’ health in a way I can understand. I would never go anywhere else.

We've taken our pug to Potomac Animal Hospital for the past 2 1/2 years and have nothing but wonderful things to say about the experience. Easy in and out, easy to get appointments when our dog has had minor illnesses and the staff is terrific. Dr. Scott and Dr. Morrow are super helpful and very detailed with their care. Highly recommend!
