I was very nervous knowing my older dog needed teeth extracted - with anesthesia. Dr. Solomon listened to my concerns and addressed each one. Day of her procedure Canal Clinic staff was wonderful. They helped me time it so my dog, who has never been held in a crate, would come in and have anesthesia almost immediately - reducing both her and my anxiety. They let me know as soon as I could pick her up, again, reducing anxiety for us both. The price was reasonable; my dog feels well; we're really happy. Other times they've been great with emergency appointments, medication questions, really - everything.

Amazing vet-- would highly recommend to anyone in the area. They are attentive and do a great job!

My 17 year old Yorkie is beginning to ail. Dr. Taylor suggested some treatment that may or may not work. Giving it 48hrs to see. I thank her for the route she took because it was exactly what I wanted. No need for tests and exact diagnosis at this stage only comfort for my girl.

Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Staff are very with handling anxious dogs.

I can't say enough positive about Canal Clinic. I have a cat with a chronic and life-threatening health problem, and every time there's been an issue they've made time to see him immediately. I've seen both Dr. Taylor and Dr. Solomon and they're both excellent. Dr. Taylor has gone out of her way to check in on my (hospitalized) cat over the weekend and has found time to do surgery on him within two days. As for price, they're very competitive and reasonable, I was very surprised how low my bill was after my cat had to spend two nights there. Definitely a 5-star place.

This was my first visit to Canal Clinic and let me tell you it was amazing! The whole team was awesome! The doctor answered all my questions the vet techs were very helpful clipping my very anxious pups nails. They have a new client for life!!

Dr Taylor has cared for all my dogs for more then 20 years. She kind thoughtful and very compassionate about treatment plans. The staff is fabulous too!

Canal Clinic is the best, the staff is professional, friendly and available. Dr. Taylor really cares about her patients and makes sure her fur parents understand the diagnosis. Dr Solomon takes her time with each patient and truly cares. He doesn't try to push expensive scans or bloodwork if it's not necessary. As a bonus you will see her ponies and miniature horse in her pasture. Highly recommend

I have used this clinic for many years. Dr. Taylor is an excellent Veterinarian. She is personable, honest and compassionate. Our family went to her , first for our two cats then our first dog and now for our second dog. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

The office was efficient, attentive. There was almost no waiting - within 2 minutes, were seen by Dr. Taylor and her competent assistants. The exam was quick - and - easy, considering the cats have been feral altho they are domesticated somewhat. Dr. Taylor was engaging while examing and vaccinating. Would highly recommend them. We come around the Beltway, because of their style, service and competency.

What a magical animal clinc/mini farm that sits in the land where people tear down 20 million dollar houses to buikd.bigger. I love the old brick buildings ,.barn and the peacefulness that surrounds thisnplace

They are very caring with my pup and they take the time to put her at ease and answer any questions I might have and I never feel rushed. I recommend them highly.

The vet is very professinal and caring,and she has rich experience and didn't need to do random examinations and tests.My puppy got much better on the day after she took the medicine prescribed ny the vet.It was easy to make an appointment.My sick puppy got the appointment on the same day,other clinics had to wait the next day.The clinic charges are reasonable,not expensive.We will come back next time!

The staff at Canal Clinic always treats me and my (nervous) dog with professionalism and compassion. Dr. Taylor talks through her observations and decisions, and she listens. I don't feel rushed at the appointments; Dr. Taylor is clearly giving her full attention to the dog, and she doesn't seem at all perfunctory in her exams. There is usually very little wait (and none this time around) to be seen. When I call for appointments, I have always been able to schedule one without waiting a long time. They are great!

My family have been coming here for years and we love it. Everyone at the clinic is great, from the receptionists to the doctors, they're always kind and helpful. The prices are very reasonable considering the area. My favorite part of this clinic is how warm and home-y it feels... I've taken my dogs to other vets before (when I've moved out of the area) and it can feel very clinical and cold.

Dr Solomon always makes time to see my 4 dogs! I was initially going to a different veterinary group but when all 4 dogs caught a bad stomach bug— my previous vet refused to see all 4 because they were too busy. In a day, Dr Solomon made time for 4 new patients without a second thought. He provides a conservative approach and a thorough understanding of their issues. He always takes time ensuring that i have grasped the information he is relaying. I Highly recommend this practice.

Ovie (my dog) had a great experience at Canal Clinic on his first visit. They were able to calm him down and they checked him out and gave him the appropriate shots. And what really helped me out was that they cut his nails. His nails had probably never been cut (he’s a 12 week old rescue) and were very long and sharp which was painful for me. The vet answered all my questions and explained everything clearly. I’ve taken my cats to Canal Clinic for decades.

We’re new to pet ownership. The staff here has been so helpful. Our dog got sick on a Saturday, they took the time to talk to me over the phone and had medication ready for contactless pickup. Highly recommend.
