OVERPRICED. SCAM. What more do I have to say? If you want to throw money into a hospital that takes advantage of the lack of vets be my guest. They do not tell you before hand how much procedures cost. They charge $30 for nail clipping. Other vets do it for FREE. At groomers it’s HALF the price or less than $10. They always push you to buy their “EXCLUSIVE” products. They treat it like it’s actual medicine when it’s just an overprice brand in which you can buy other products in pet stores or Amazon or Chewy for half the price. Going to the vet for an issue should just be about the pet. It shouldn’t be an experience that reminds me of those money grabbing time share presentations. NEVER GOING AGAIN. ASHAME WOODLAKE ALLOWS THEM TO HAVE THEIR NAME ON THIS PLACE.

A little more expensive than other places, but it's for a reason. They're the best in the area for sure.

They’ve taken very good care of both of our dogs. The doctors remember us when we come back and we never feel rushed when asking questions.

Dr. Jones appears to be very caring, kind, and interested in my pup. She takes time to ask questions or if I had any concerns. I will continue going to Woodlake based on my first visit.

Expert care and top customer service. It’s always nerve-racking when your pet is not 100%. Dr Dayton and the entire team put me at ease and help our dog and cats manage pain, heal, and lead proactively healthy lives. Everyone is kind and understanding (seriously, my dog is needy and anxious) and being honest, I am too because I don’t know what to do in pet emergency situations! Dr Dayton has been taking care of our pets for years now - through major surgeries and check ups - it’s been wonderful. Thank you WAH!

Not as good as it used to be

Turned out not to be a great fit for our animals. Our visits have been hit or miss, unfortunately. The biggest misses have been two separate surgeries that had to be redone by specialists after visits here. I will say that they did very well in the beginning. Their manager was also able to correct mistakes in communication, although it resulted in us paying $60 additional due to it. One of our dogs was not given a core vaccine booster while the other was never given the core vaccine at all. They did allow us to get these shots later, but required us to pay a $30 tech exam fee for each even though the vaccines should have been given during the annual exams. One dog had to have emergency surgery by a specialist to correct “excessive scar tissue” that had formed following surgery at this practice. We also had another dog that had to have his “cherry eye” surgery redone by someone else after the stitches didn’t hold.

If I could I would give no stars or negative stars. They are expensive and don't tell you ahead of time what procedures will actually cost. They told me the in house blood work would be just "a little more expensive" than sending it to a lab. "A little more expensive" turned out to be almost $100. Also, my dog was actually worse AFTER we went there. When we got home, she started having diarrhea from what they gave her. Other than that, they hardly did anything for my dog. So I spent almost $500 for next to nothing. Needless to say, I won't be going there again.

Mixed experience at this location. The vet tech, Jordan, was great. He was patient and easy to talk to. The actual doc that saw my cat was talking a million miles and an hour and wouldn't stop long enough for me to get a word in, let alone ask a question. I don't think I will be returning to this location.

It’s good to know you have a good vet nearby. They take care of my little dog Bebe.

What a wonderful experience! Our first time there and Dr. Jones was amazing and all the staff was exceptionally kind!! Will definitely be back and looking forward to building a great relationship!!

The vet techs and vets are great with all our pets. They go the extra mile for their pet patients.

They make you feel comfortable when treating your pet, I felt they cared as much as I did regarding the health of my cat. Very polite and will take all the time you need answering questions.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Jones and the team at Woodlake Animal Hospital. Dr Jones has cared for my animals for 15+ years (before Woodlake Animal Hospital began). While I have always been impressed with her skill and compassion, I saw a deeper level of care and concern this past Fall when our kitten became suddenly very ill. Dr Jones went above and beyond and I will be forever grateful for everything she did for my family during a difficult time. I highly recommend!

I have been a customer of Woodlake Animal Hospital for many years. This week my dog became violently ill overnight, so I began calling early in the morning when they opened, but the phone just rang and rang. I finally went to the vet's front door and a male receptionist informed me that they were completely booked for the day and that they could work my dog in only IF I paid an additional $80 work-in fee. Talk about kicking you when you're down!!! I was devastated and chose to go to another vet who worked me in for FREE. I am disappointed that Dr. Jones has decided to add this fee to her regular customers that are in need of help during an emergency. I guess she needs help paying for the newly built addition recently completed. But it's just NOT RIGHT and I will never go back to Woodlake Animal Hospital!

I cannot say enough good about Dr Dayton and her staff!!! Our dog was very sick, we called all over and noone could see him, but Woodlake worked him in to their busy schedule. Dr Dayton has been a God send !!! If you atr in need of a great vet, dont hesitate to call Woodlake!
