Brought my chihuahua in for a lingering issue that had gotten worse. They were very, very busy but got him into rotation rather quickly. Cost was a worry, but they do take Care Credit, which you can apply for on premises as well as another option that works directly with your bank. Overall this facility is very clean and so a great job subsiding the awful lingering worry that can come when your pets are injured. I hope I don’t have to use them in the future, but I will be back if I do.

These lovely people were able to get me in before they closed with my first real pet emergency. They took such great care and time with us, kept us updated and priced everything before they proceeded. I haven’t felt this comfortable with a vet in a long time and I’m incredibly grateful! I will absolutely be back

The staff was attentive and compassionate in what we thought was going to be a sad ending to our visit. We were able to bring our dog home with a diagnosis, medication and easy to understand instructions. I would highly recommend the Animal Medical Center.

We have really missed Dr. Nai since he retired from this practice. We had the pleasure to meet Dr. Rayo on this visit. She was outstanding and explained my dog’s problem perfectly. Very caring and knowledgeable. The support staff was also amazing.

I've been a customer since I moved here almost 20 years ago. The AMC has taken care of my multiple cats, and currently my dog. I have to admit that I may have to look elsewhere which saddens me. They no longer accept checks as payment, nor do they accept cash (this is an assumption since I never had that amount of cash on me at one time.. LOL). I don't own a credit card anymore. I share one with my son only to assist him with managing his finances. It is a sad day for me and my pet dog. :(

My dog was having trouble breathing on a Saturday and my regular vet was unable to take her. I was nervous to bring my dog here, as I live 30 minutes away and knew nothing of this practice. All of the staff, from reception to the nurses, to the lady who checked me out, were professional and kind, and clearly loved animals. Dr. Emily explained my dog's illness (aspiration pneumonia) to me carefully, answered my questions, and was very kind. Being a paranoid mom, I brought my dog to her regular vet on Monday and they confirmed her diagnoses and said that catching the illness so early had kept from becoming much worse. Animal Medical Center also quickly sent my dog's x-rays to her regular vet as well. So a big thanks to Animal Medical Center all around!

I was very impressed how quickly they responded to my urgent call that I left on Sunday. I think they even answered it before opening hours on Monday. They ensured that my baby Whiskey didn’t get any worse from an already bad situation. The doctor and techs can take a fury of questions and concerns very well. Professional and courteous.

Took our sweet kitten Lulu here today and I would give 5 stars as the staff was extremely nice and respectful and even took us on an emergency visit with our sweet kitten Lulu very close to closing time.they were amazingly patient with our questions and concerns. The only reason I am not giving five stars is because we went in for our kitten having dripped a little blood in her pee and a possibility of a upper respiratory infection my concern was that they didn't take any blood or anything witch has me worrying that it could be something else. She was treated for both infections an we truly hope she gets better. And if she does I promise to change my four stars to five. I will most likely continue bring my fur baby here if all ends up well with her recovery.. we really enjoyed staff and felt they were priced fairly.UPDATE ON MY REVIEW.. as promised I am Changing my review to five stars because in just a matter of two days we have already notice a change in our fur baby she definitely seems to feeling better at least from what we can tell. I would highly recommend this vet

I took my cat here Friday and let me say she was previously an outdoor cat. She only has been in a vet setting once and that was to be spayed but I noticed the previous 3 days she was sneezing and coughing. I was nervous to take her to a vet because I didn't know how she would do or frankly, what they would find. So I called a place near me but the soonest they could see her was Dec 1st and so they gave me the number to this facility. I called and explained my situation to Megan and she was so sweet and very sincere and understanding and told me to bring her in as an emergency so they had longer than the typical 30 minutes. I did and Dr. Rea saw us and wow she is amazing. Said cupcake did have an upper respiratory infection and gave medication and eye drops. Checked her heart and lungs and said all was great otherwise and her teeth are healthy. It went so much better than I thought and eased my mind about everything. She answered all my questions and was very thorough and kind. I highly recommend this place and ask for Dr. Morgan Rea. Excellent first time experience and I would do absolutely anything for my cats and I will be back here. The visit was $132 and I was shocked because I was expecting $500. But no xrays or vaccines were done so that's probably why. But great value for a vet emergency visit in my opinion. I will use them from now on and go back for a follow up and vaccines.

We had an emergency with our dog yesterday and visited this clinic for the first time. The staff and doctors were so compassionate and caring both for our boy and my husband. They took excellent care of our dog and will be providing all our pets’ veterinary needs from now on.

Completely saved my senior cat twice. They are responsive, professional, but also compassionate and personal. I always feel that my questions are answered and my cat receives excellent care. Thank you for all that you do and have done, Animal Medical Center.

Took care of my dog incredibly. My dog had swallowed some medicine that was toxic to her and they handled it so well. They gave her some charcoal and was able to get her to get it out. They had her stay overnight and the vet could tell she was extremely anxious, so she even took her for a quick walk around the building. Highly recommend taking your pet here.

Dr. Hester was amazing. She diagnosed and treated my Betta fish. She was very informative and passionate. I know some may think its just a fish, but he's my buddy and as a pet owner no matter how big or small, we are responsible for making sure they have a healthy and happy life.

It's usually hard to convince your pet to get out of the car when it comes to their visit for care. But it only took a few minutes to convince my pet because he knows after meeting the staff and doctor at the this facility that he is safe because of the love and care he received every time he walks in the door. The comfort in knowing that your pet is getting the proper care with love is priceless.

The visits are impersonal. The staff ask for information that has been previously supplied, which eludes to the question, what I have asked for will it be done or was it even one. I specifically asked for the Bordetella to be given and for a fecal panel to be performed. When the doctor called me, she knew nothing of the two. I think that they could be as good as the practice was at one time, under the previous owner; they need to listen to the customer, verses coming up with excuses for their staff's poor performance.

You can tell they hire individuals who clearly care about all animals. I love the fact that when they call they always say: Is this so and so's furbabies mom? Why YES! Animals are part of the family and Ive never felt safer or happier that our pitties are taken care of here and always will be <3.

My regular vet informed us at 6:30 am that we had a serious emergency with our 8 year old male cat and recommended AMC. We found them to be very kind, quick and helpful. They were responsive to questions by phone and the actual veterinarian called several times through the course of the emergency to keep us completely informed and up to date about what was happening. They provided a clear estimate of cost and it ended up being significantly less than anticipated, a nice surprise. I would recommend them for emergencies for your pet.

I brought my elderly cat to urgent care because of respiratory problems and nasal bleeding. She behaves very badly when I take her to the vet, but she was treated kindly and with patience. I had worried I would have to put her down but I was able to bring her home, with an antibiotic. They took great care of her.

I called and was told I could bring my cat in to be seen today. I get there and am told there's a 3 hour wait. I wait 3 hours just to be told it's really a minimum of 6 hours. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL and COMPLETELY INCONSIDERATE ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY WANT YOU WAITING IN THE CAR THE ENTIRE TIME.

I have been going to this vet for over two years. Took both my dogs here since puppies and never had a issue. We loved Dr.Banks but have not seen her in a while. Due to nature of vet visits over the last year we saw who was available. Not sure what has happened but the quality of service and the customer service has tanked and they refer out for EVERYTHING. They are uncaring and tramatize animals as they have tramatize my dog for the last time. As I had other experiences and concerns happen with this place in the past requiring hours of desensitized training for my dog due to them. Went there this last Tuesday and one of my dogs was treated like a monster there. It was a horrific experience that upset my dog, my child, and myself! Basically left there in tears. I was annoyed with all their nickle and diming of test just to provide basic animal care but treating my dog like a monster is uncalled for. Needless to say we won't be back. Took my dog to the new vet off otterdale in Cosby village AMAZING experience!! Plus you can stay with you dog during the visit which is a huge plus right now!

The custom service and billing department has been very disappointing. I've explained many times of a billing era but they are unable to help me. I was told I need to speak to Christina. I've left word for Christina to call me back several times to get it straight but they have since turned me over to collections. Animal Medical Center offered no billing or financing. When I left my bill was paid in full. I've offered to pay the bill in full -the late fees because of the confusion. Collections says they do not negotiate and Christina wont call me back. Any suggestions?

I will forever be grateful for the compassion and help from the staff here. They really went above and beyond and deserve so much more than a good review. They really were amazing.

I took my baby (3year old toy poodle mix) here a couple of weeks ago. She had a severe UTI that was not getting better, blood in urine, constantly having to go, and straining hard to urinate. They said she had a mild UTI and prescribed some antibiotics. Took them as directed and she didn’t get better. Turns out she was misdiagnosed, poor baby had bladder stones.

My dog had a retained testicle and was exhibiting symptoms of itchy skin, hard lesions under the skin that would erupt, and his nipples had started to grow, all symptoms of his condition. Dr. Rea knew right away what was going on and confirmed it with some blood work. This was on a Friday and on the next Tuesday he was scheduled for surgery. She did a remarkable job, he did great and I am happy to reccomend this practice to anyone. They take great care of your pets and do a really great job of educating you about your pets condition and needs. Dr. Rea called me after surgery and not an assistant, that means alot...thank you..
