Staff are informative and courteous. The vets will take the time to answer your questions. They even have an app that is helpful to keep up with appointments and reminders.

I have been using Chester Animal Clinic almost 20 years and have been very satisfied with the doctors and staff. The one issue I have had was resolved in a professional manner. I like being able to board my dog where medical help is just through the next door. Can’t imagine going anywhere else!

We recently moved to this area and were in need of a new vet for our dogs. Everyone at CAC is super friendly and they take good care of our dogs! They always listen to any of our concerns and never rush through an appointment. Would recommend them 10/10.

Grayce had a wonderful owner who blessed us with this dog. My normal vet was in Lynchburg. I will go anywhere for the best service. We found dr. Lyons by these reviews. We explained we needed a vet now not 40 days. They had her in & seen by Thursday and all her labs. She was right as rain under their wonderful healing hands. We owe them much. This is a drop in the bucket compared to healing my baby girl. I am now a very loyal customer. Which doesn't happen often. So you all including the resort & the Trainer & fitness expert Morgan. We call her Magic Morgan. She has the dog who drags everyone about... now I can walk her with a finger unless someone approaches me. Wonderful place. I cant wait for Grayce to have a play date & go swimming in the bone pool. Check it out. That place is a wee bit more expensive but the socialization & the fun they have is 10 star ???? service. Not a kennel & 4 walks. They have that too. But why do that for active fur babies. The live short lives. My last fur baby lived 16 years. He was a German Sheppard. He would have loved that place but he was disabled.

Used this Vet. for several years - started requiring 6 month visits...Not a fan of all the extra charges and fees to maintain a healthy dog - I have multiple dogs/cat and breed also - there are many other vets that do not require 6 month visits. Some vaccinations should be optional to the client. Had to leave because they would not adopt feeding my dogs their diet and kept frowning upon my choice of diet. Long story short - we made less visits because the health of our pups got better after seeing a Canine Nutrition Specialist which in turn allowed less visits and less money for them. Way over-priced. Loved the girls in the office didn't care for the continuous recommendations of diet changes...

I love how much they are truely invested in each if our pets, my pups love coming here even though they spent the first 3 months getting shots... that says a lot about how much care they put into their interraction with my extended family members...

The best Vet I've ever been to. I've had to go to 5+ Vets in the last 3 years due to a lot of moves (military) and poor experiences. We FINALLY found the perfect clinic for our dogs. The staff is amazing and organized, and the doctors and nurses are so caring and great with our dogs. I recommend this clinic to everyone!

Bringing our feline family member here for the past 13 years, I have to say this place of “care” has gone downhill. To make a long story short, our elderly furry family member went into a not-so-great state of health in a short amount of time. When a phone call was made to the veterinary clinic on Saturday Feb. 27th, 2021, they gave us the next available option of Thursday March 4th, 2021 to bring him in, knowing his state of health. While our cat was in the clinic on Thursday, a few phone conversations took place that day, since no one is allowed into the building due to the pandemic, our cats blood work showed him to be in a worse state than expected, and we have two family members on the account (myself that pays the bills/was at work and my young brother that schedules the appointments for him to do the drop off/pickup). When I went to the clinic at my lunch hour requesting the itemized summary of what had been done today so far for the ~$600 total and we still had to decide what step to take next, I was refused a copy, saying it would “check the patient out of the system”. When I called to talk to a manager wondering why I could not receive the list of things done so far for the day, the manager (I cannot remember her name and refuse to call the clinic back to ask who I spoke to), started in a very short temper and loud voice, saying I had wasted enough of her doctor’s time today (Dr. Regetz) talking to her on the phone that it should not be necessary, having two people on our feline’s account was an inconvenience to the clinic, and causing our cat to be in prolonged agony. As I began to cry in frustration and the manager was continuing to yell over me things I honestly do not remember Dr. Regetz took over the phone and calmly discussed two treatment options for our furry family member, the best unfortunately being euthanasia. The way this clinic treated me on Thursday toward family’s dying cat that we have had for 13 years and have been taking to this clinic for 13 years was appalling. Dr. Regetz is the only decent person working at that clinic and if she knows what is good for her, she needs to move to another clinic to practice care before her name is ruined by how things are run at this veterinary clinic. After we had to put our sweet baby down, no one at the clinic reached out to me via call, email, etc. to show even the slighted form of sympathy for the loss of our furry family member. That should show you right there how much they really care for your pet in the end.

The staff is always so polite and friendly. I’ve never had a bad experience. One time I paid for a service I did not receive but I received it on the next visit and there were some complications with the payment but the staff worked with me and figured the situation out. Over all, the best experience I’ve had with an animal clinic!

As a 1st time owner of a puppy Chester Animal Clinic has provided excellent care to my puppy and they answer all my questions from the simplest questions like is it ok for my puppy to lick my face to providing comfort of knowing I will be a great owner. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful

I took my mini poodle to Chester Animal Clinic due to a nasty ear infection he has had for about 3 weeks. After the initial visit they sent me home with 2 different type of meds. Within a week i received 2 follow-up from them inquiring about Levi. After like 3 days i noticed a difference in my dog. They scheduled me for a follow up 2 weeks later and the infection was totally gone. When i tell you i am impressed with how they have taken care of my baby. This is where you need to come to get your fur babies taken care of. I should have switch from Ironbridge Pete Hospital sooner. Chester Animal Clinic has got me going. So impressed.

When I say these awesome people not only saved my dogs life, but mines too... it is an understatement! I arrived today in tears with my dog and the entire staff was so compassionate, caring, professional, and amazing! They were very detailed and explained everything to me in a way that I wasn't confused or concerned walking away. I arrived in tears and left with a smile! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for everything that you have done for me today! My babies will not go anywhere else but her for now on! Dr. Lyne and Brandy, you are the best!

I’ll never take my babies anywhere else. The team at Chester Animal Clinic are super friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They provide the utmost care for my pets, don’t push unnecessary vaccines or treatments and keep you informed throughout everything. They take the time to answer your questions and never make you feel like an idiot because you may not know something. They offer a wellness plan that is so worth every penny! They have a vape don’t facility, groomers, trainers, everything you could want. I highly recommend this place for all your pet care needs.

My doctor is Victoria Regetz and she has been just amazing with my Stanly. The Covid-19 has made it more challenging, but her and her assistant Kristen were super with getting Stanly in to ease his pain. I’m SO glad I have found this vet since I just moved here. ???? Stanly is much better and is thankful for them too.

My Frenchie loved the resort, she loves the staff. What I don’t love is their PRICE Gouging. You have to go over your bill. It COSTS $20.00 for a nail clipping not grinding to Petsmarts $10 for clipping. They are DOUBLE THE PRICE. I don’t mind paying but you guys are OVERPRICED ‼️ Maggie Jones.

This place is great! We’ve been taking our pets here for over 10 years and I don’t think I’ll go anywhere else. The staff at the front desk is always friendly, the vet techs super kind and gentle, and the vets are knowledgeable and thorough. My one complaint? The wait time can be a little excessive, so if you’re easily bored I would definitely recommend bringing a book.

My Ma's dog went for a wander. Someone picked up the dog and brought her to Chester Animal Clinic. Although we have not availed ourselves of the services at CAC, and the business does not know us, the exceptional staff at Chester Animal Clinic called my Ma's veterinarian, whose number is on the dog tag, got my contact information, and called me to let me know they had her dog. This shows a wonderful appreciation for the value in which people hold their animals AND the dedication of Chester Animal Clinic and her staff to ensuring people are reunited with their animals, even if there is no money or trade in the transaction for their business. I went to CAC thereafter and thanked everyone involved. Although I love my current veterinarian, I will bring some business to Chester Animal Clinic to thank them for the A+ manner in which they handled this situation.

Had a great first experience with CAC! They took the time to listen to my concerns about my dog, were caring and knowledgable! I would definitely recommend this vet!

Today was my first visit here ever. Took my 3 year old fur child Shadow here for his vaccines and wellness. It’s curbside appointments right now due to COVID however I had a great first impression. Staff was very friendly and informative. The doctor called me while I was in the parking lot and updated me with all Shadows information since I wasn’t allowed in the office with him. The pricing was reasonable and I wasn’t forced into anything unnecessary. They treated my baby so good and I’ll definitely be using them for my vet needs. I highly recommend.

Dr. Lyne is wonderful. He and his staff of experienced vets (Dr. Patton and Dr. Regetz won Best Vet in Richmond) are the best. They've healed all our dogs. Come here first.

Amazing & friendly staff! They show so much love to my dog Jak Jak and answer all my questions completely! I feel so comfortable when I go there for his visits.

I've taken both of my pups here and I have not been disappointed. They make your pet and you feel like family each time you walk through the door.
