Went here today with my cat Vega. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Prices are excellent as well. Will bring my cat back here. 10/10 recommend

Went there for the first time and took my cat for an ear infection. The staff was super friendly and the doctor was very helpful. This place was recommended to me by a family member and I didn't realize how long of a drive it was but decided to keep the appt and go anyway. But glad I did and will definitely make the haul back there in the future if my cat requires one.

Unfortunately, we were were extremely disappointed after reading such great reviews. Our poor dog is having an allergic reaction and his back has scabs and raw irritated skin and the vet still performed a flea comb, even though we warned about the scabs. He absolutely did not listen and you could hear the scabs breaking. My dog is in even more agony. No fleas as we had previously advised the attending doctor (Dr. Chang). Unfortunately that was not the primary issue we were bringing him in for. We had to ask multiple times about the hip pain. We did not feel the assistant was proficient with picking up or holding our dog on the table. He is a 25 lb. mixed terrier so not like he was overpowering them. Possibly a off day as I know they have many loyal pet owners but I feel like we will not submit our dog to that treatment again. Also, they never gave an actual diagnosis for his hip, just prescribed drugs and no alternatives until I asked (which after what I had seen, no way would I let him perform the acupuncture that is probably needed. I apologize for the long review, I know how we feel about our fur babies.

I live 50 minutes away, but gladly go out of my way to bring my dog to Independent Hill! I really appreciate Dr. McFaddin's blended approach of traditional medicine and more holistic treatments like chiropractic adjustments. Plus, she's always curious, engaging, and fun to be around! My pup and I always leave feeling great. :)

I took my 19 month old kitten in for a second opinion on sudden illness she developed yesterday. Dr French handled her care and she was beyond outstanding. She was very thorough and pinpointed the problem Baby had. She will treat it very efficiently and the follow up they will provide is great. I will now transfer the records of my three other cats over to this wonderful veterinarian clinic and look forward to many years of great care for my cats with her and the vets there. The staff is kind, patient and professional. I would give them ten stars if I could. (⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)

The staff is very friendly and sensitive. My dog is young and still growls at strangers and can be a handful, but they handle him well and he settles right down. They are apparently well organized, as there is never any problem with my dogs records and due dates for booster shots and annual checkups. My wife's Yorkie is older and getting good care. Prices are not outrageous, and I've never felt that they were taking advantage. I've been to many vets, and the market is changing, becoming more "boutique", but the people at Independent Hill simply do a good job, and take good care of my dogs. I appreciate that.

The staff and Dr's are amazing. Got our 10 week old rescue puppy in the same day we picked her up...reassured us she was healthy...Hazel Loves Independenr Hill Veterinary Clinic....and so do we...!!!

If I could review with ZERO stars I would. Rip off and poor service. Required a full exam prior to boarding which we happily completed a few days prior to boarding with a Clean bill of health. Stated they require a fecal sample in order to board, but could get it during the boarding. Dropped off for boarding, when we picked our dog up 4 days later she had a half dollar sized wound/scab at the base of her tail. Bring her in the very next morning.... and they charged me another full exam price!!! 2 exams within 1.5 weeks and they claim the wound was there prior to the boarding, but then why didn’t the first exam identify the issue?? They didn’t even test her fecal sample until the day after we picked her up from boarding, which is not normally required for boarding. Also, how in the world did the employees not notice the issue during the boarding? Not only is the place a complete rip off adding ridiculous fees to bills, but clearly the animals are not cared for or monitored closely during boarding. I will never bring my animals here again.

I Love this veterinary clinic! The people here make you feel like you are the most important person in the world. My male lab Mr. Jake is as calm as I have ever seen him at a vet clinic. Lisa McFaddin is so personable and good with my dog. Lisa is so smart and knows allot about animals. You can see she truly loves what she is doing. They understand what you are going through and share your feelings. They know our animals are family to us. I feel that my dog will get the best available care here. On top of that this place runs like a well-oiled machine thanks to Jessica Haydon the Practice Manager. I never hear anyone say sorry we are out of that and can you please come back. The location is very convenient. This is the only veterinary clinic I will ever use. I tell everybody about how great this place is!

Absolutely horrible, the employees and doctor were very nice but sadly the doctor was completely incompetent. I was very worried about my cat his face was so swollen he couldnt close it and was drooling horrifically. And dropped 20 percent of his weight. The doc gave him a shot and blood test and said everything looked alright and just wait for the results. A few days later and results came back clean we took him then too battlefield animal clinic where sadly he had a bad tooth abscess and had to get some extractions.

Please use caution when reading reviews of this location. Dr moore was there for years and it was GREAT. He is no longer there and sadly after 20 plus years of being a customer ive decided to take my pets elsewhere due to the downfall of the practice. They focus more on the money and have lost compassion. At the last visit they 'forgot' to give my dog his rabies vaccine after charging me for it and by the way that was the reason for the visit.....not like i threw them a damn curveball. One of the techs is like oh....its THAT dog that sprays us when scared....then had nothing but attitude. Yeah, he gets scared. Frankly, her demeanor scares me too! Wish i could spray her too lol

Very professional team! The receptionists, techs, and doctor treated us with consideration and kindness while there for extensive diagnostic testing. They actively listened to my concerns and gave several different options for diagnostics and treatment moving forward. The extra affection everyone gave my dog was appreciated.

Dr. Drake was very professional and helped my dog immensely. He has a skin ailment and the medication she prescribed him had him feeling like himself in just 24 hours.
