Had to take our puppy when he scraped his leg playing with another dog. They were efficient, courteous, and effective. Sumo is all good!

My little chi, Jellybean, tore one of her nails and was in pain. Searching for a vet, I read the reviews and chose Dr. Pearson. They were booked solid but squeezed her in because of the pain issue which I considered quite thoughtful since she's a new patient. The staff were friendly and helpful and Dr. Pearson was fantastic (doesn't hurt that he is quite easy on the eyes too. Hubba hubba) and she took right to him. Very informative and up front about costs and services. In short order, he removed the offending nail, cut the rest, administered antibiotics and updated her shots and we were back home in no time. I'm very pleased with this vet and his staff and I believe that you will be too!

I love the Timberlake staff and trust no one else with my fur baby. I have tried several veterinarians in the Lynchburg area, and Dr Pearson is absolutely the kingpin of vet care. Professional, courteous, compassionate and affordable. Dr Pearson treated my dog CeCe as if he was taking care of his own baby. Definitely a 5 star and more.

I brought my cat, Solomon here for the first time last year and the staff and vet were EXTREMELY NICE and knowledgeable. They made me and my cat feel very comfortable and treated him quickly and had him feeling better before the appointment was even over. They tried their best to make the visit as affordable as possible. I HIGHLY recommend them to everyone I know with pets!

My fur babies Ryder and Ryver absolutely love going to the Timberlake Animal Hospital! Ryder was so excited that he jumped out my car window when he saw staff.???? I would not trust them with anyone else. They are treated special just like they get treated at home. That means the world to me.

I absolutely love Dr Pearson. Even with the toughest of pets he still shows compassion and care as though it is his own animal! Pricing is very reasonable. Staff are courteous and facility is clean!!! 5/5 stars for sure!!

Amazing first visit for my dogs ????

I wish that I could give this business a negative five rating. It is almost impossible to get an appointment for your pet. When I thought my dog had an ear infection, they said the soonest they could see me was 4 weeks away so I had to take my dog to another vet. They also never offered my dog the Lyme disease vaccine even though I took my dogs there every year to get a Bortatella vaccine so they can be boarded during our vacations. It seems to me that a pet parent concerned about other vaccines would be offered the one vaccine that could actually save their dog's life. My dog ended up suffering and dying from Lyme disease which is totally preventable with a vaccine. When I called to ask the vet about why we were never offered it, he claims that he didn't because my dogs were older and he usually only offers it to dogs when they have their first round of shots. When I called the vet he didn't return my call for an entire week. He was very rude to me on the phone and accused me of being rude to his staff after they hung up on me when they said that they were putting me on hold. I wish that I never walked into this establishment and maybe my dog would be alive today. In response to your response, you are lying. He was never asked about a Lyme disease vaccine. You asked for do a Lyme disease test two years ago, which you stated on the phone yesterday when we spoke. You were not available to take my dog for at least 4 weeks when hen he just recently had an ear infection so I took him to Ridgewood Animal Hospital, which is by far a better establishment. Do not continue to lie and say he has never been there for any vaccines because I have the records that show he comes every year for the Bortatella vaccine. I wish that I could upload them so the world can see that you are lying.

My loving pet had to be put down and I chose cremation and when I went to pick my pet up- well he was delivered to me in a gift bag. It was twice as heartbreaking. I purchased a nice urn for him. The staff is friendly but they over looked the "massive tumor"my dog had. I had repeatly explained that something was not right and it was not found till my dog couldn't walk. I truly loved my vet but I loved my dog more. My review is only intended to inform and help others who may have an aging pet. I believe that Timberlake Vet has increased in business and the one on one care is not where it needs to be. May I remind ALL veterinarian office- without loving pets you do Not have a job.

Dr. Tony and his staff are hands down the best.. Dr. Tony will personally come out to you and explain everything concerning your fur baby. He is very patient and thorough. We had been taking our furbabies to another vet. Wanted a second opinion and went here. We are so very happy that we did. There is such a big difference in the two. Here you feel that your pet is getting the very best care ever. They genuinely care with their hearts and show compassion. It shows in everything they do. Their prices can't be beat. If you are looking for a veterinarian, this is the place to go. You can't do any better. Please give them a visit. You and your fur baby will be very happy.

I have had mostly good experiences but I have had some problems. I scheduled my dog’s surgery appointment for 4/16, without my knowledge they canceled this appointment and changed it to today. I didn’t even find out that it was changed until I called them on 4/15 and inquired why no one had contacted me about the surgery. No one could give me an exact reason as to what happened. I take my dog in today and since the receptionist wasn’t understanding me she decided to call me rude and hang up in my face. This is appalling and completely unprofessional! I will say that Dr. Pearson did come out to try to rectify the situation. I expect an apology from this receptionist by the end of the day!

Great animal hospital. I feel like my concerns for my cats are met and I knew what was happening every step of the way. As long as I live in this area I will continue to go here because their level of care is unmatched!

Best care you could ever get for your fur babies. I love not only the great care but more than that, they care more about their patients and families than their bottom line. Have tried a large variety of vets between Lynchburg, forest,Madison heights and none come close. Wish I would have known about them before going to Amherst animal hospital, maybe then y Jaxson would not have a permanently disfigured leg that will cause him pain his whole life, due to negligence. Took my 4 year old dog and my 12 week old puppy for routine visit and everything on the first visit seemed to go good. My older dog got her routine ANNUAL exam done, $48, her 3 year rabies vaccine, $20, and her distemper, $18.75. The puppy got her routine ANNUAL exam done, $48, and we had to return in about a month’s time once the puppy was old enough to get her 1 year rabies vaccine as well as her final distemper done. Being that the rabies is $20 and the distemper is $18.75, we returned the second time expecting to only pay right about $40 or so. Nope. Apparently, at this place puppies get 4(!) ANNUAL examinations done on their first 4 visits, and the staff never made this known to us. ¿Annual? Before we left last time, we verified that on the next visit it would just be the two shots for $38.75 done. And when we arrived for the second visit, when they came and got our puppy to take her back, the vet verified with me that it was just those two shots being done and everything seemed good to go. When I go to pay it ends up totalling to $90 some dollars. When I question this with the vet he tells me that puppies get the 4(!) ANNUAL exams and assured me that last time he made us aware of that, which wasn’t the case. Because like I said we had verified before we left that time and before this visit, when they came and got my puppy, that it was only those two shots being done on the second visit, which I agreed with and they took my puppy back. I was initially impressed with the service and friendliness of everyone there on the first visit, but not so much now. The vet seemed remorseful and apolgized for the “miscommunication”, but did nothing to make it right in hopes of having a repeat customer. Being on the invoice as “Annual examination” you would think that would mean once a year, not 4 times. The people are friendly and nice it seems, but lack communication and lack the “want to” to make things right and try to keep customers coming back.
