We've used Loudoun Cat Care for years. Everyone is very kind to our furry friends and best of all they only treat cats. So no huge dogs to scare our dear cats when we check in.

While I was very happy with Dr Wiechmann, I wasn’t happy with the unprofessionalism when it came time to deal with putting my cat down. I had a difficult time scheduling the appt which shouldn’t be the case. They need to have a professional, and caring sympathetic nature when dealing with an upset client like myself. I worked for a vet for 5 years, and we handled euthanasia’s very different. While it was nice of them to let me leave after the appt, they should have had me pay my bill ahead of time. They should also schedule those appts at the end of the day, so the upset client doesn’t bump into another client. When I called to pay my bill, they didn’t apologize for my loss. Isn’t that common courtesy? I really feel like they should handle clients differently. From my experience, dealing with the public isn’t easy, but giving respect and sympathy shouldn’t be hard. Both doctors were great and I had no issue with them.

Easily the best cat care available in the county. They’re cat only so your pets won’t have negative interactions with dogs and other animals. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and they care a lot about providing quality service. They’ve always taken the time to answer my questions and discuss the health of our cats in detail. They’re also very responsive by email if you can’t get in for an appointment. Overall it’s a bright, comfortable, clean, and positive environment to bring your cats for any medical reason. Can’t recommend highly enough, and I don’t plan on bringing my cats anywhere else!

I came downstairs in the morning to make coffee and my cat ???? was behaving oddly with a chronic tilt of her head to the side... at noon I called Loudoun Cat Care and even though they were fully booked they told me to come in right away... the vet squeezed us in, showed lots of concern and empathy, was great with my cat. They have called every day since to check on her. LCC will be my cat's DR moving forward. I prefer to go to a cat specific vet as animals have different issues. My cat's malady is specific to cats. I highly recommend Loudoun Cat Care!

Great caring place and perfect for my nervous kitties because no dogs

I am beyond happy that we found this clinic. We just got back from our first visit and this has been one of the best vet experiences my little cat Miss Frisk has ever had. She was super anxious driving there but after we arrived, she was calm and didn’t meow once, even after we left and drove home. The room was calm and quiet (no dogs barking!), well-lit, and clean, with windows so she could see outside. They even had catnip, treats, and a toy on hand in the room. It felt less "hospital sterile" and more homey, but still professional. The vet techs were super helpful and kind, and listened to all my concerns. Since we are new here, the staff was very thorough in looking through my cat’s records and making sure they were doing exactly what my cat needed, calling our previous vets when necessary for clarification. Dr Wiechmann was incredible — her knowledge for and care about my cat was outstanding. She explained everything she did, gave me options, and helped me see the big picture as well as the nuances. I didn’t feel rushed, and as an anxious pet mom I so appreciated that. As she carefully and kindly examined my cat, Miss Frisk didn’t even complain; it almost appeared as though she was enjoying it! Thorough, experienced, honest, kind. I’d recommend this clinic to anyone who wants their cats well taken care of!

I had a terrible after care experience with this office, after they neutered my cat last year. His incision was badly infected and they wouldn't provide a next day appointment after telling me they had an open appointment at 9am, but it was only first come / first serve. Another vet recognized the severity of my cat's infection, treated him with antibiotics the same night and performed emergency surgery the next morning.

We've adopted 2 cats from LCAS. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. Their animals are clearly well vetted and cared for. The process of adoption is fairly easy and straight forward. And the connections with vets (first check ups!) are an incredible savings for new pet owners. Great place!

Very wonderful to our cats. First Vet office I've been to in a long time that truly loves cats! They also spoke in simple terms on options of what to do for our cat with kidney issues. They offered plenty of treats, and calming spays for our anxious kitty. This place is amazing!

Our oldest cat had dental issues and had to have his teeth both cleaned and checked out. What they found was that six of his back teeth were just gone! Four others had to be extracted due to bad cavities. Jack-Jack is now able to eat his meals without any problems and his overall health has improved greatly! Not bad for a 16 year old cat! We highly recommend Loudoun Cat Care for all cat health issues. They even did a phone call follow up just to see how Jack-Jack was doing! Amazing how they 'Care'. They are now our 'Go-To' Cat Care facility! ;-)

Staff and vet are great. They engaged with me even though Covid restrictions made it tough. Unfortunately we has to discuss end of life plans for my cat, but they were sensitive to my feelings while guiding me towards decisions in the best interest of my pet.

I cannot say enough good about Loudoun Cat Care. I took my cat there on the advice of a friend after our previous vet said he needed to be sedated for appointments, which I did not want to do. Dr. Wiechmann not only said we could avoid drugs but allowed me to be right there. The office is quiet and my cat was relaxed in his carrier. I was prepared for our usual appointment with him hissing and screaming and wrapped up like a burrito. But Dr. Wiechmann and staff worked their magic. No screaming, swatting or yowling ensued. He did not even need to be toweled. In 7 years of owning a cat who turns into a fire breathing dragon at the vet, I have never had this kind of experience. We both left calm and collected. My cat started back about his normal business as soon as we got home and is not giving me the cold shoulder as usual. Thank you Dr. Wiechmann and everyone at Loudoun Cat Care!

Best Vet in Area. I travel over 40 minutes for their care and services. Staff is super friendly and caring and Dr Krista is very knowledgeable and takes time with you and your kitty. The boarding area allows cats to have their individual two level condo which also has access to window views. You and your kitty will not be disappointed

I have received nothing but fantastic service and information from this clinic. I picked this clinic because of the focus on cats. Not only is the environment calmer but the emphasis means that issues are not just treated they are diagnosed and the owner is educated as to what they may mean when it comes to long term care of the cat. I will not be taking my cats anywhere else.

This is the only place I've taken my Cat Pack for the past 10+ years. It's only cats, so no worries about dogs making already-anxious kitties at the vet's more nervous. Dr. Weichmann and her staff are courteous, professional, and truly care about the animals and their owners. I can't count how many times advice from her as helped me give one of my precious fur-babies better quality of life - and we have a variety of medical needs, as our babies run the span from 3 to 18 + years. She and her staff take the time to listen to you as a pet owner, to gauge how best to help you help your pet. She doesn't take payments anymore, but takes the Care Credit card; and works hand-in-glove with TLC, the local emergency vets, should your cat need more specialized care. There is also boarding available at Whiskers, next door, affiliated with LCC. They also work with at least one rescue currently, and I believe do some community outreach with feral cats.
