Bush Veterinary Neurology Service - Leesburg Leesburg, Virginia

I spoke with a front desk staff member with my concern that my GME dog Brody is relapsing and gave all the details. I was told she would put the information on the doctors board and it is now 3:00 on News Years Eve and no phone call. I just called the office and your closed ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! I have been a client since 2011 and have spent thousands of dollars and this is the treatment I get. Furious is not the word I would describe how I feel right….I’m absolutely livid!

We were very anxious to hear what the neurologist thought about our little kitten. She confirmed what we suspected (as much confirmation as we can have at this stage anyway), and offered some suggestions that were helpful. You gave us support for our special little kitten. We did not have to wait very long to made an appointment, and the doctor communicated well.

Best experience I've ever had with a vet! They actually listened to my concerns and they made sure I was fully aware of all possibilities and took great care of my fur baby. He didn't want to leave! Lol Would 100% recommend.

Vet Tech and Dr. Woods took great care to understand Mickey's symptoms and discussed various options with me. I appreciated the time they took with Mickey.

The staff was friendly even though we could not go in. The Dr called and gave us a complete update on treatment options. They kept us informed and gathered as much info as possible

All members of the practice were professional and very friendly The doctor spent time explaining everything and did not rush through the appointment like some doctors tend to do. She was very caring. Although it is expensive and an hour drive from my house, I felt that my pet was well cared for, and if I have need for speciality care, I know this is a good place to go.

The entire staff demonstrates a true caring for both the pet and their owner(2). Their level of communication during the visit and if applicable follow-up is excellent. Their demonstrated professionalism builds confidence in that your pet will receive the best of care.

I was very pleased with my babies care. They tested her for everything and figured out what was wrong with her and we are now treating her and she is getting better and that is the most important thing to me You found out what was making my baby sick and potentially dying and are now treating it

Great care. Our Olly became paralyzed in her rear quarters and after seeing our normal vet, they recommended BVNS for an emergency visit. They called and git us right in. The initial consult confirmed our fears for a possible back injury. The MRI confirmed it, but the bruising to the spinal cord was to great and surgery only produced a 10% chance of recovery. We opted for taking care of her in hopes of becoming a wheely dog. Cared for my pets needs and provided us with options

This is my second experience with BVNS. Each time I have been treated as if I am family. They calm my fears and talk to me realistically and let me know what to expect. They truly love my dog as much as I do and it feels amazing to know he's in such great hands while he's there. I cannot sing their praises enough. I am so beyond grateful for everyone who has helped me and my pup. Caring and compassionate. Every single person.

I continue to be impressed and grateful for the quality of care my pet and I are given at BVNS. The staff is compassionate and knowledgeable and Dr. Jarboe is so thorough and patient with her reports and recommendations. I felt I was given all the options without feeling pressured towards one over another.

Very efficient and professional. Our Vet was fantastic. Staff was outstanding from arrival to exit. Doctor spent a great deal of time addressing all possibilities and allowed me to make an informed choice for our dog, Brutus. I highly recommend them.

I was referred to BVN service by the Life Center. My access was quick. Dr. Uzzle came out to meet me and my dog Gigi. He was patient, kind and genuine. He brought her back to me post CT scan. I was given an overview of the procedure and timelines for each phase as well as time to pick up. Dr. Uzzle brought her back to me and confirmed follow-up care. I had results from a late Friday PM scan by Monday morning. Thank you Dr. Uzzle, we appreciate your thoughtful care.

I had to bring my dog in for emergency back surgery and I was so impressed by the staff there! The front desk staff, technicians, and doctor were all wonderful! It was a pretty rough day but their kindness made the day a little easier. Thank you!

I have only good things to say about my visit. I would definitely recommend them. I think Daisy would too because she took a nice nap on their comfy dog bed in the patient room. Lol

My uncle & aunt use this facility for their dog Weezer. Weezer suffers from seizures. After being seizure free for 6 weeks. Weezer started having seizures again yesterday. Multiple seizures that just would not stop. My uncle & aunt called this facility 4 times yesterday. They made phone calls up until 10pm last night. At 11pm they took Weezer into the emergency vet where Weezer continued having seizures and the vet kept him overnight. They called this facility again this morning, begging for a return call promptly. They finally got one and was told the doc was "busy". At 10pm last night? I highly doubt it. You could have taken 10 minutes to return a phone call. My advice, take your money & your beloved pet elsewhere. It's clear why they have only a 2 star review. I absolutely do NOT recommend this facility. Find one that will return your call, when your beloved pet is having a serious medical issue that you need guidance through.

Dr Ashley Bensfield was great! My boxer is very nervous in vet offices and she was awesome with him! Clearly and easily gave us answers about our dog’s head tremors! Really put us at ease :) Others at the front desk were awesome as well!

If your pet ends up being referred here, your pet will be in good hands. They are the best. They are a very caring, knowledgeable staff. Every single person who comes in contact with your pet, from the assistants to the doctors themselves, are compassionate and very understanding as to how traumatic and scary this can be for both your pet, and the pet owners. Phone calls and emails are also returned quickly. It was a financial hit to us as our Bella needed an MRI and a spinal tap on an emergency basis, plus 48 hours of continuous chemotherapy before we could take her home, but they explain everything every step of the way and being that Bella was so young, we wanted her to have the best chances. There is Care Credit as well. Even the waiting area is comfortable with snacks, hot drinks, water, big pillows on the floor for larger pets, etc. They definitely know how to cater to our four-legged babies!
