Lovely Pet Salon Chantilly, Virginia

We just moved to the Aldie area and we're looking for a groomer a little closer to home. We found these guys and they did such a good job on our Minature Dachshund Ellie! She looks so cute and is so soft. :) She even came home with a festive bow for the holiday.

They do the best grooming in town! I can always rely on them for a perfect grooming for my dogs. The staff is friendly and my pets are always excited to see them. Make sure to take your dog here!

Horrible first time experience here with my golden retriever. They nicked his paw and refused to take responsibility. They did not apologize for the accident, told me they did not do it and charged me $125. Cost me another $100 at the vet to get him checked out. Do not recommend!

They do a great job with my rottie. He sheds year round but between sessions it takes a month or so before his next which isn’t bad.

Lovely Pet Salon treated my dog pooky so well. He looked clean and his haircut was so cute. They can make dogs with long or curly hair look like show dogs. Would definitely recommend.

They did a great job on our lil' pup's extra fluff and now a lot more neighborhood male dogs notice her on walks... and some humans too.

Lovely Pet Salon is great! I'm so glad that I was able to find a groomer for my two dogs, Maltese-Shih Tzu mixes, who don't get groomed regularly. My dogs have high separation anxiety and get freaked out in new/unknown environments, but were able to adjust quickly at Lovely Pet Salon. We were able to get an appointment the same week that we called in. The owner is very kind and the prices are extremely fair for the quality of the services and for what I've seen in this area. The shop is very clean and well-kept. We were able to choose what length we preferred and explain what kind of "look" we wanted for the two of them. The groom for the two dogs was fairly quick compared to our previous experiences with other groomers. When we went to pick up my two pups, they looked adorable with their Saint Patrick's Day bows/ribbons and smelled great. It usually takes me over 30 minutes to try and trim their nails at home, but now their nails are trimmed, cleaned and look better than ever. I was worried that they'd be stressed out, but they were happily hanging out and actually got the zoomies when they came home. Thank you Lovely Pet Salon for making our dogs' groom an awesome experience. We can't wait for their next visit. We're happy to have found our forever groomer :)

I made an appointment with this groomer 2 days ago. The services included trimming of hair, nails, bath, and only ear cleaning which i thought was just cleaning the wax out of this year. However, they plucked hair inside of my dog’s ears as well and that part was not discussed with me. I usually have my dog’s hair plucked by the vet. I was a bit of surprised they did that without even discussing and asking. I went home thinking everything was okay and today my dog developed ear infection. I called the groomer and was upset about it. Asked for a refund and paying my dog’s bill for vet if there is one and the receptionist guy called me disgusting. He eventually said that he will only refund me but not pay any other bills. My dog is now set to be seen by the vet tomorrow morning. I will never recommend this groomer to anyone. Do yourselves a favor and just go to PetSmart where they actually know what they are doing. My dog has been feeling irritated and crying all day because of the pain. Will never go to a private groomer ever.

Updated post: These folks have really stepped it up in the past few months. Value is now commensurate with price. We will continue bringing our pets here. They are very good with our high energy 75lb dogs.

We took our cat there and gave them a specific shampoo to wash our cat with and we told them to cut her hair and give her a shower when we came back she didn’t smell like the shampoo or any fragrance and her hair was still long and all they did was trim her nails and took $70 from us saying they did give her a shower and cut her hair even though they didn’t I’d recommend not going

I've been taking my dogs to lovely pet for a couple years now and they always take good care of my dogs. Super friendly staff, give really good cuts. Only downfall is when they went under new management the prices increased by $15 each dog. Dog under 10 lbs is $60 for full groom. Still cheaper than other places so that's good. Keep up the good work!

NOT RECOMMENDED... I have went to the vet to check on my dog and foundation out the he has ear infection and the doctor said it seems that the ears didn’t get cleaned before. Eventho when I went to that salon they said they cleaned his ears now my baby is suffering and I paid to much for the medication and the vet.

We took our 2 miniature schnauzers there last weekend. After multiple times asking for a standard schnauzer cut with a bit shorter beard, we experienced this: Phone call about 1.5 hours into grooming appointment, where I believe the owner told us we had left a collar for one of our dogs behind. The problem was: our dogs were still there. When we went to pick up dogs, my husband pulled on the lease for the smaller of the 2 (14 pounds ) and the collar came right over his head. Why? Because it was a collar for a much larger dog and not for my dog. When asked, we were told the collar must have been accidentally given to someone else and did we want to keep the other collar ‘for now.’ Of course we said no. I had to buy anew collar and we had to order all new tags. No one yet has called us because they were given our dogs collar. Lastly, and the most horrific, is how our dogs look. Shorn. No other word for it. All, and I mean all, of their hair is gone! No skirt, no leg hair. GONE!! They look ridiculous and look like meerkats. And they know it. They’ve both not been themselves for the week since this disaster and it’s awful. It will be a good 6 months of going to a qualified groomer before they start to resemble my schnauzers. $140 for that disaster. And my one boy dog was sent home with a pink flower rubber banded to his collar. At least he still had his... Do not go to this grooming salon!

Crooks new management is horrible. They keep raising prices. Brian when he ran this places may have not been the cleanest place, But he cared about the dogs and the owners. New Owners are horrible cheaper to go to pet value or Petsmart

They do a nice job with my little fluffy pup and it's quite convenient. I'd rather have other options and more competition, but it's mostly fine.

Took my mini golden doodle pup here for his first time getting a cut, and they did an amazing job! The staff was extremely friendly to both myself and my dog--the super fair pricing was also a huge plus. I was nervous about getting his hair cut for the first time, since he has been having some issues with separation anxiety (especially since this COVID pandemic is all he's known), but it needed to be done finally. I dropped him off and was able to pick him up within a couple of hours. When I picked him up, I was very happy to see how he looked. His hair was cut exactly the way I wanted, he smelled really clean, and all my explicitly stated requests were seen to. Will definitely be bringing my pup back here for another hair cut and grooming.

I brought my golden retriever baboo and he came out looking nice and clean! I also got the deshedding and barely any hair was shedding when we got home! Excellent work would highly recommend. Price also competes with Petco and Petsmart!
