We arranged to bring multiple dogs in for their CERF testing and couldn't be happier with how the girls helped out in coordinating bringing them safely from the car into the exam room and then return them in the most efficient manner possible to be sensitive to our time and to get us back on our way. Couldn't be more pleased with the way they treated us with professionalism and compassion.

I rarely write reviews, but I was so pleased with the care and treatment my black lab received at Ocean Veterinary Ophthalmology that I wanted to share. My dog was diagnosed with glaucoma in her left eye by my usual vet. She recommended me to Ocean and Dr. Samuel for an extensive eye exam and treatment plan. Unfortunately, my dog had to have her left eye removed. She had never had surgery before and it was quite scary for me. Dr. Samuel made me feel so comfortable with the treatment plan, Including the surgery. Everything went so well. The care they provided was amazing. The instructions they gave regarding her recovery and medications was impeccable. Everything was spelled out perfectly so that I could completely understand what needed to be done. Today, the stitches and cone were removed, and my baby girl is doing fantastic! I didn't know what to expect going through this whole ordeal, but Dr. Samuel and Ocean staff made it comfortable and a relief. I would highly recommend them to everyone!

Dr. Samuel and her team are incredible! They always go above and beyond when taking care of my pup and explaining to me what our treatment options are. They've saved my pup's vision on more than one occasion and I will be forever grateful for that.

Took my girl for a eye exam to check on a freckle that appeared on her iris. The staff was super helpful, kind, answered my questions. They worked me in quickly and gave me answers to questions I had. Super professional. Planning on using them again! So happy with their service! Would recommend to anyone!

Dr. Samuel is one of the most impressive veterinarians we have seen. She is caring, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. My dog Bruce has been seeing her for several months now. Before coming to Dr. Samuel, Bruce had been in pain for several months, with an eye issue that required specialist intervention. Now his condition is stable, and he is so much happier. The vet techs and front desk staff are friendly, and everyone treats Bruce like family here. Pam is wonderful as well, and always very helpful. Thank you to the staff at this clinic for all the work you do.

We brought our 16 year old dog to see Dr. Samuel after the surgery on her eyelid done by another vet had gone wrong. Our dog was very stressed and uncomfortable and we were extremely worried about the situation. Dr. Samuel and her staff were so kind and gentle. She was able to fix the problem quickly, explain the issues clearly, and treat our dog until her eye was completely healed. It was outstanding care and we only wish that we had gone to her in the first place!

Dr. Samuel and staff are the best! She takes plenty of time explaining the diagnoses and to answer your multitude of questions. The staff treats your pet like the family member they are. I am so grateful she is located in Leesburg!! I highly recommend this practice. You won't find better!

It's obvious from the first visit how much Dr. Samuel loves animals. We have a 12 year old boxer that had corneal ulcers. We wouldn't trust anyone else with her eyes. Gracie has recovered well, and she loves to visit the office. We highly recommend Dr. Samuel and her staff!

My 15 year old kitty has had two surgeries by Dr. Samuel for a fast-growing lump that was right above her eye. I know that many vets could have removed the growth, but I was concerned that Mandy would then be unable to close that eyelid or that she would be disfigured by the surgery. I chose to take her to a veterinary ophthalmologist and, after doing a ton of research, chose Dr. Samuel. I could not be happier with the results and my beautiful kitty both has the use of her eye and - I swear - her beautiful eyes still match perfectly. Dr. Samuel was not only highly skilled (we had absolutely no problems recovering from the surgery) but also planned a creative method of preserving the aesthetics of the eye. Everyone was so kind and so nurturing of Mandy that we felt absolutely confident that we had picked the perfect team (looking at you Pam) and our results were terrific. The location is in a strip mall that doesn't look all that inviting but disregard that - Ocean Vet is the place to go if you want highly skilled, artistic treatment for your pet's eyes.

I am a veterinarian and have used Dr. Samuel on multiple occasions for both my own dogs/cat and I’ve sent many clients to her as well. I am always so impressed by both her knowledge and her compassion. She is the perfect mix of kind and smart and we are so lucky to have her in our area! Highly recommend!

Dr. Samuel and her staff are awesome. My dogs were very comfortable with the technician when she came out for them. Their little shih tzu eyes are doing great since seeing Dr Samuel. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who is interested in a great ophthalmologist.
