I called with a turtle emergency at 7:30 am. Jason was extremely professional, compassionate and helpful. Was given multiple community resources as well as a follow up call with vet appointment for next day. Out of numerous exotic vet calls, Wheaton was the most informed and responsive.

The Doctor decided to take it upon her on what to do with my 14 year old friend that passed away and assures i never requested cremation and ashes back.

The vets and vet techs here are amazing. They really take the time to get to know your pet and ask detailed questions about their diet, living space, bathroom habits, etc. Much better experience over than other local vets. But they are extremely busy, so expect to have some wait time upon check in and check out

Been taking my two kittens I adopted recently. All the staff members have been fantastic with giving them medical care and answering any questions I have as well as following up with me. They have a separate side of the waiting room for cats and dogs which I really appreciate.

They are the best! I've been taking my birds and dogs to Wheaton Animal Hospital since the 1980's. They are knowledgeable and kind. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

The person that works at the front desk, Keith, is rude and was shaming me to my husband when I missed his ONE call because I was working! He also had an attitude while I was filling out my dog’s form because English is not my native language and I probably took a little longer than other people... very impatient. The clinic is outdated but the veterinarians took good care of my dog.

Dr. Shwartz is a fantastic and caring vet. He combines contemporary advice, continuing education, solid practice, with empathy. He's helped me to prolong the life of my parrots and treated them with the kindness and respect that I was looking for. He's gone over and beyond for me in my parrots time of need at the end. Some of the front desk staff are more polite than others. Angie is fantastic.

This is a great veterinary hospital. Dr. Schwartz has been taking great care of our dogs there, and we had very good experience there with Dr. Sussman earlier. The admin and medical staff are very friendly and helpful. Quality of care has been excellent, and their prices are reasonable, all things and their competition considered.

Has been my pets' hospital for 25 years. Dedicated, knowledgeable. Kind and supportive staff. When my adopted dog passed away from a tumor, they sent a beautiful flower arrangement.Clean, and now, have great COVID protocols in place. I would highly recommend. And so would my latest pet and those who preceded him.

Dr. Sheiner, and Dr. Johnson, and Dr. Sussman are all very thorough and detailed in their examinations and treatments of my cat. Wheaton Animal Hospital is located in a cute little house in an uncrowded area of the city with plenty of parking right at their entrance. The doctors have solved my cats dental issues, and my cats ear infection, my cats anal gland abscess, and administered yearly vaccinations for rabies and feline leukemia. Also the front desk gentlemen, Keith and Juan, and whoever else is manning the appointments, are patient and accomodating. I trust the doctors' expertise, and my cat is happy and calm when i pick her up.

Been bringing my guinea pigs to Dr. Schwartz for the last 7 years. He always know how to make them feel better and is extremely gentle and attentive. He always follows up to check on their progress. Best veterinarian I have met.

I have been going to this vet for 20+ years. They are fantastic and their staff is wonderful! My dogs favorite place to go was the vet and all the staff would come out and greet us. They knew my pho’s by name and my pups knew them! I’m so sad I moved to another state or I would still be going to this vet! Truly the best vet you could go to.

5 stars for cleanliness and friendliness, but do not forget that this is a business and they will try HARD to sell you products and services (vaccines, tests, pet food, and will make u think or believe that it is urgent and truly necessary for your pets health, but do not feel pressured or caved in...they don't always disclosed that each product and test is expensive. When I was there with my dog they did that, it was my 1st time and I was worried about my dog (she had a small wound in her paw nail), I did not think about asking for specific prices of vaccines and tests that they recommended or pushed down my throat. Then at the end of the visit, I got a total bill for almost $1,000.00. If I have had the money it would have been fine, but I it was total shock! I had to use different credit cards to combine my payment, and even then did not have enough to pay and take my dog home (they did not care, they just wanted their money) I ended up having to call family members and see who had money and could drive and meet me there in person with their credit card before they close. AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!. This place is 2 blocks away from my home, but unless is a true emergency and my dogs are dying I will never go there again...their priority is profit and they do not disclosed prices before services, they say nothing about prices, they are sneaky about it, dishonest business, don't know if it comes from above, the vets or the employees make commission, same awful thing for customers, they want to take advantage of your ignorance or stress of having your pet sick. 3 stars for that reason....Stay away unless no other choice.

We kept bringing our 3 pets because Dr Schwartz is a rabbit doctor. But even if we made an appointment to see him we kept seeing other junior vets which for vaccines is ok but we got one that misdiagnosed RINGWORM which is pretty basic. Our golden had to suffer for over a year because this jr vet insisted it was allergies and all the expensive treatments (lots of money spent) never worked.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing seems to phase them. If you call them with questions, you'll get a helpful response from a real person. Worked with 3 vets. They have different styles and they all put your pet's needs first. So happy we found these guys.

Probably the worst ever. Vet was either drunk or a junkie. His hands were shaking constantly.
