Everyone associated with Adams Mill from the doctors to the technicians and admin support are totally devoted to their clients as well as their owners. I feel comfortable calling with general questions or advice because the level of attention and concern is always taken seriously and because my dog always enjoys his visits no matter what is in store for him (ie vaccine or lab work). Also, staff is made up of very nice human beings ????.

Dr. Adams, Dr. Gross, and Dr. Nelson are incredible veterinarians. They take the time to answer all of my questions during appointments and after hours when my pets aren’t feeling well. My dog also had GI issues, and she was regurgitating every day. After their treatment, my dog no longer regurgitates. If you want the best veterinary care for your pet, then look no further!

Dr. Nelson and the staff are wonderful. They truly care for your pets and are very helpful with advice that may not require an appointment. The facilities are very clean and the cost is competitive. I wish I was as satisfied with my own doctors.

DO NOT take your dog here if they have any issues with vets or really if you care about your animals being treated well. I took my dog here who does not like or trust vets ever since I got him . We usually muzzle him because he growls. I called before hand to tell them this and ensure they had a muzzle which they told me they did. When we showed up for the appointment this turned out to be a ROPE that they TIED MY DOGS MOUTH SHUT WITH and to make matters worse they not only did it once but TWICE. Now mind you this is partially my fault because i showed up late and only my husband was there for the first time. The second time they tried to do it he went absolutely nuts so they took him in the back to get it on him AGAIN when he came back out he was profusely shaking and bleeding from his mouth from the force they had done to him. WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU EVER DO THIS TWICE TO A DOG IN ONE VISIT IS BEYOND ME. Then we tried to leave the practice and the only way to get your records is to go in, they will not fax them, or email them because THEY DONT HAVE EMAIL (what kind of place is this!). Yet when we came here they had me send our records to them via Fax....such a double standard and obviously trying to make it difficult for people to leave. - again NEVER GO HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PETS

We love Dr. Adams and her staff. You won't find a more compassionate and dedicated group of people. After each of our pets passed away, we received a handwritten sympathy note from Dr. Adams personally. How many vets do that these days? We need more like her!

It's a rare pleasure to find as competent, capable, knowledgeable, and caring a veterinarian as Dr. Adams in family pet practice. As one might expect, her associates and staff adhere to the same commendably high standards of care, concern, and cooperation for pet and owner alike . Dr. Adams' experience and attention to individual patient detail, coupled with highly-focused diagnostic skills, treatment alternatives analysis and explanation, polished surgical skills, and patient advocacy during referrals has provided my English Setter Rudy a new lease on life on more than one occasion. While a dog may not get the 9 lives of a cat, Dr. Adams has already afforded Rudy a few more than nature intended. She is, in few words, "Simply the Best."

Adams Mill is the best! Very caring veterinarians. There is never a wait. They take each case on very seriously and explain things thoroughly. They truly are a five-star Veterinarian Hospital. I would highly recommend them.

Do not go to this vet clinic. Unclean, poorly trained staff and vet. I am new in town and took my cat in to establish care and evaluate her teeth since she has had issues in the past. First, the place smells of mold. Now look— I don’t expect a vet clinic to be odor free given the patients, but mold has no place in a medical facility. The front desk staff acted like it was too much work to copy my cat’s medical records. Also— they don’t have email so I couldn’t send medical records or X-rays before the appointment. But the worst was yet to come. The vet - Dr. Gross I believe is what she mumbled when she came in —spent no time establishing a relationship with the cat and appeared apprehensive. The vet assistant came in and elbowed me out of the way to hold my cat down so the vet could examine her. First- the cat is docile —I’m not saying that because it’s “my cat”— I’m saying it because I have years of experience with animals. She did not need to be aggressively held down. That type of over-aggressive handling makes an animal even more anxious and more likely to bite or scratch. Second, I was a vet tech for years in college and I know how to hold an animal— and this assistant was man handling my 10 pound cat completely unnecessarily. There were times as a vet tech that I had to be fairly firm with animal holds for the safety of both the vet and the animal— but this was not that type of situation. I told the vet I had been a vet tech and would prefer to hold the cat but the assistant refused to relinquish the death grip she had on the cat and the vet was unassertive and appeared uneasy and frightened of the cat and kept repeating over and over that she has been bitten before. In the four years I was a vet tech- I never was bitten by an animal. I attribute 80% of that to basic skill in treating animals and reading their body language and the remaining 20% to luck— cause if you work with animals long enough— you will probably get bitten and scratched— it’s the nature of the business. However, this cat is very docile, was being aggressively and too tightly held by the assistant and the vet was visibly scared of getting near the cats mouth or correcting the assistant. To say she did a cursory exam of the cat’s teeth, would be an overstatement. She barely looked in the mouth because she didn’t want to get near the cat to open the mouth or pull the lips back and then said everything looked fine. Having participated in at least a hundred animal dental exams— I can definitively say there was no way she could have competently evaluates the cats teeth, nor had she seen the palate or roof of the mouth or tongue before declaring the cat all well. Having examined the cat at home, I know the cat likely is due for a cleaning to prevent further tooth loss and has some gingavitis starting. At this point I had had enough of the frightened vet and overly aggressive assistant and told them to stop. I grabbed my traumatized cat and left. That was a total exercise in incompetence, in my opinion. I would not recommend taking your animal here.
