After the recent experiences we've had with Muddy Branch, I would be remiss not to submit anything but an absolutely glowing review of the center, and specifically, Dr. Corrigan. After an emergency last week with our 3yr old pup, Dr. Corrigan and the Muddy Branch team immediately stepped in and ultimately saved his life. I cannot stress the lengths that they went to for our family, and the genuine care, compassion, and love they showed us and our boy, Finn. We are forever grateful for this team and cannot share enough incredible sentiments. We love Muddy Branch!

I have had nothing but amazing care with the team at Muddy Branch Vet Center. The first time I went was when my cat was experiencing an unexpected illness during COVID so I had to drop him off and hadn't met anyone on staff, which is nerve-wracking for a fur momma. The team at Muddy Branch not only put my anxiety at ease but explained everything that was going on thoroughly. We recently had to go back for surgery and again this team has been nothing but outstanding. They take the time to explain what is happening, what post care should look like and patiently answer any questions you have. They show compassion to animals and owners alike. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

We've had a positive experience with Muddy Branch. The staff are kind and helpful. The doctor is personable, knowledgeable and thorough. They're also very efficient!

We have been a patient here for a couple years with both of our dogs. We are literally one door away from this vet and most likely see the vet three times a month if not more. Our oldest dog has had a lot of health problems this past year as his old age has come and rapidly was declining… After my dog having a seizure back to back three times. I called the vet and a young lady answered the phone and placed me on hold just for a second, I then proceeded to tell her we cannot control the seizures and we needed to come in ASAP as we’ve always done before. She proceeded to tell me that “ all of our doctors are in appointments right now, you can simply go to a vet hospital snd just put him down there, we recommend VCA or bluePearl”. This is highly unacceptable. Every month we come and spend more then $200 dollars on - insulin , synergies , glucose curves , etc. & at the time where we needed you guys at the most we felt more then betrayed by the staff here. Please do not offer emergency services if you cannot see the patient. There has to be a better protocol for these kind of issues because this is simply wrong and my poor dog had to be put down elsewhere. I’ve paid an emergency fee with you guys before - I’ve dropped everything I’ve done to come in and bring my dog. I’m not mad that we were placed on hold - I’m mad at the lack of sympathy and professionalism that you guys LACK… please do better. Also you would be better off taking your pet to Dr.Lamar at lake forest animal hospital.

Everybody at the vet was fantastic for the first time ever our dog Lili was calm and relaxed during a vet appointment. They really took the time to talk to us and get a good understanding of what was going on with our elderly dog. All the staff was happy to assist us with all our questions and very kind to Lili. After Lili's extensive dental work Dr. Katz called us late in the evening to make sure she was recovering well. He even came in on Saturday when he was not scheduled so we could bring her in for a quick follow-up to make sure all was going well with her recovery. Muddy Branch Veterinary Center is simply the best vet we have ever been to.

Been seeing Dr Katz and his staff for over 30 years with all my cats. They are loving and caring and will not let your pets suffer. They follow up with results within 24 hours. Couldn't ask for a better vet.

Can’t say enough great things about this place. The care that they’ve provided and continue to provide for my animals over the years has been everything I could ask for. Between feeling like they’re in the best possible hands, to working with them on treatment plans, I always feel listened to and like I’m making the best decision to get them better again. They have been my vet for years. I appreciate the relationship and trust I’ve built with them and grateful for their services and their willingness to listen to my concerns and work through them so my pets get the best care.

Displeased one of the vets we used to love turned into Fauchi and started lectures about Covid... dude... stay a veterinarian. They are riding the Covid train to an extreme.... it's sort of sad at this point. We switched vets.

As first-time dog owners, my girlfriend and I were nervous and uncertain when we began taking our puppy, Callie, to Muddy Branch. The MBV team has eased any concern or doubt we had going in. They have been absolutely amazing! The techs are extremely friendly and the vets have been very responsive to our questions. We know Callie is in great hands whenever we drop her off for an appointment. This place receives our highest recommendation. Great job MBV!

I will start my review at the end of my relationship with Muddy Branch vets. This past spring my pug, Sadie got very sick and was put to sleep. I was devastated. I ordered a paw print to have something to remember her by. Today (July 19th) I called Muddy Branch and found out that they had the casting since early May. No call, no e:mail, and nothing in the mail. This is not the first time I received communication that lacked empathy from this practice. You can have both - a great practitioner and a great staff.

Had an amazing experience there and highly recommend using them. My current vet was not able to fit me in for an emergency visit so I was desperate to find a vet that would see my dog. A friend recommended trying muddy branch vet out and they were able to fit me in for an emergency visit as a new patient. They went above and beyond expectations prior to the same day visit by contacting our current vet for my dogs full medical history as I was unsure if I would have time to get to them for the paperwork with enough time for the appointment. Upon arrival the staff were all so welcoming, friendly and efficient; we were able to go right in and everyone was so gentle with my dog and actually cared for her well being. I was very happy with the thoroughness of the exam and help they offered. Highly, highly, highly recommend them and I will definitely be switching to them moving forward. As a side note, for anyone worried about covid/cleanliness etc it felt very safe and it is obvious they are doing everything they can to keep everyone safe and comfortable in the space.

My dogs always loved going in to the vet. They ran! I love their fear free methods and how much they care about my pups. I even got a call once (during the pandemic so I was waiting in the car) apologizing that it was taking so long my pup found a toy and was getting everyone to play with her. Unfortunately, we moved out of state and Muddy Branch is one of the things I will miss the most!

Everyone is so friendly and the MBV Team takes great care of our pups. Services are excellent, friendly staff, and awesome overall experience especially because the pups love going to see everyone.

I cannot recommend these vets, their staff, and care for the animals enough! ❤ I just recently switched to this vet after one too many mediocre attempts at addressing my concerns for my cat, at the last place I was going. Here at Muddy Branch, not only do they all visibly have affection for the critters they see, but they have plans ahead of time to make sure your animal has a good experience too. Example: on the form you fill out ahead of time, asking questions if to address if the animal needs a minor sedation so they are less anxious and have a more positive experience. The vets have either called or come out (following covid masks and distancing) to address any issues and concerns I've had. They address the concerns to a T; I feel sure that my kitty receives the best care here and that she will be as healthy as can be under their guidance.

We have been with Dr. Katz for over 20 years. The practice has always showed great respect for us and our fur babies. When I have had emergencies in the past, they always make time for me to bring in our pets. I can't image ever using another vet. I would highly recommend this practice. Thank you Muddy Branch for doing what you do!

The staff is very nice but I didn’t have the greatest experience. Their prices are ridiculous and they weren’t very transparent about them until it was time to pay. I don’t plan on coming back.

I’ll admit that I haven’t needed any specialized care for my pets, and I’ve taken my animals for pretty standard needs like vaccines. However, so far, the staff and veterinarian have been kind and professional. I first encountered the clinic when we moved into the area about 2 years ago. My 12 year old Aussie was showing real distress, and they saw him the same day after hours. Unfortunately, we had to put him down that day. They were very kind and took good care of him. We just recently brought a new puppy into our family and decided to take him to Muddy Branch for his initial care, vaccines, etc. We had several visits during this pandemic, and I have been very happy with the process they are using, the doctor’s communication, and all her helpful suggestions as we prepare him to enter service dog training. Prior to this new puppy, our dogs had been seen at Banfield. Big mistake - the costs there were extraordinary and I never felt warmth from the doctor or felt confident in his assessments. I’ll update this post as we continue care.

I brought my dog to Muddy Branch Veterinary Center and I was very pleased that they were able to accommodate an appointment with short notice. The intake process went very smoothly and my dog was seen very quickly. Dr. Sarcon provided a comprehensive assessment of his issues and she took extra time to answer all of my questions which I greatly appreciated. I would would absolutely recommend Muddy Branch Veterinary Center to anyone in need of vet services.

When my vet wasn’t available for vaccinations I needed before traveling I called Muddy Branch Vets and they were able to fit me in. I thought this would be a one-time visit as I’d been with my previous vet for seven years but their staff's care and professionalism was so outstanding I have decided to switch vets! They made everything so easy including offering an app that allows me to track Maxi’s care. They also used a drive up system that allowed staff and customers alike to stay safe and observe COVID-19 restrictions. And on top of all that, my dog Maxi loved them! We look forward to our next visit.

We recently moved to Maryland from Texas and needed a new vet for our cat. The staff were very friendly with us and with our cat. The office was clean and (somehow!) didn't even smell like animals! We had a cats-only exam room, which was nice since our cat doesn't love dogs. Dr. Katz was very welcoming and even shared some personal photos of his cat and family to help explain his advice. All in all, we were in and out with almost no wait time, and we got the updated vaccines and meds our cat needed. I'm very happy we found such a reliable vet office so close to home.

Amazing very professional caring staff. Been bringing my furry children for many years and always had a great experience . I am feel my furry children are in great hands while in the care of everyone that works at Muddy Branch Veterinarian.

The care I recieved for my cat was fantastic and they don't try to sell you anything or talk you to death about treatments your animal doesn't need. I will be a permanent customer from now on.

Phenomenal vet, they care so much about all the animals. They use all of the products they sell on their own animals and are very candid about anything you need to know.
