Love our 15 years old pup's vet! They are always so responsive when I call for paperwork or health updates. The reminders are within plenty of time to get an appt without being late on wellness appt care. Office is spotless and covid protocols are well executed. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful team, no steering us toward unnecessary procedures or medications, we fully trust them and appreciate how much they care for our furbaby!

We have been bringing our dog to Caring Hands since we relocated to the area in 2019 and have had nothing but good experiences and results at the Ashburn location. I have not been to any other locations. Our 8 year old GSD has had TPLO surgery on both rear knees at this facility through an outside surgeon (Dr. Tibor Lazar) with exceptional results. While we have had to change vets recently due to a move that put this location 40 minutes away I would definitely recommend them. I am trying a new vet closer to our new house just for the sake of convenience but if they don't provide the service that Caring Hands in Ashburn does I will definitely switch back and just make the drive. I highly recommend them.

Easy to make appointments and pretty good experience there. Comparing to other vets, slightly pricy but okey.

We have been a client for 8 years. Caring Hands Ashburn was by far the best veterinary experience we have ever experienced. We have always been happy with the car we received for our dog. The issue now is that have over grown their ability to support their clients in the ay they once did. Getting an appointment for a sick dog should take days to be seen.

They provided tech support immediately and fit us in as a new patient within one day when we were concerned about our dog after our now previous vet could not.

Biggest problem I experienced was Dr. Carole Richards a so called “partner” of multiple locations. The staff (all but 1) was a habitual mess: extremely poor communication between vet techs and receptionists - didn’t know their left from right.... and then some ! I had to call and follow up multiple times to make sure they did what they were supposed to do. But the worst is Dr. Richards and she should not be practicing there in Ashburn or at the merrifield office in VA or anywhere quite frankly. I had asked her two separate times about my dogs chronic cough. First time she said I was being “sensitive” to it. Then when it got worse - I called again and insisted I get antibiotics which she finally prescribed, but didn’t care to follow up or say anything about if the antibiotics would not help what the next steps would be. So the cough got worse, and I was fed up with having to insist she pay attention and help. So I go to an internist and they xray my dog and do a throat culture - He has MASSES in his LUNGS ...and they tell me I need to rush him to an Oncologist because he likely has cancer. I am $4000 later - 3 specialists later ... knowing they are sending all these records to Dr. Richards - And does she Bother to call or check in ? NO - and this is after years of being her client, 2 dead pets she treated later and I was dumb enough to let her treat my last pet. I mean this name “Caring Hands” is a complete joke !! It is more like Medical Malpractice Hands. I cannot believe the founding Veterinarian still is willing to employ her. Not only do I feel disgusted with her and company - I feel betrayed, because I put all my hope and money and loyalty into her and her practice and this is the response I get. Literally she could not care less what happens to my dog. I am beyond appalled. Be forewarned... stay away from this practice.

First off all this company needs to be investigated by #PETA organization for the male practice. My wife who happened to be Asian American have experience unfair treatment and even name calling by the staffs of this organization just because she dared to question the dose that was given to our Bambi ???? and come to find out after visiting a different VET my wife was right all along..... the dose they gave us could’ve gave our dog a serious seizure. Thank GOD we did our research. And when it comes to costumer service forget it !!! Because you are speaking to a programmable robots. I will advise everyone to find a better loving and caring VET. Do not place your Doggies in the hands of incompetent individuals.

I ended my 11 year relationship with this practice today. I do not recommend them at all. If you live next door, don't mind paying top dollar and all you need are vaccines, they may be ok. If you need real medical care, stay away. My dog had a broken toe nail, they bleed like crazy. I was unable to get it to stop. I went to an ER, they stopped the bleeding and told me to follow up with my primary, they didn't think it was a big deal, the nail was hard, intact and well connected to the toe. I called Caring hands and explained I had a bleed and described the situation as a "murder scene." I was offered the first available appointment 7 days away. (they claim to have same day acute care appointments) 2 days later I called after trying to deal with a bloody mess, explaining it had been wrapped up in blood for 2 more days and I thought it was now infected. You could smell the infection. I was offered an open appointment another 2 days out! I wonder just who the save the acute care visits for? By the time I was seen, I had a ragging infection on my hands. After a $1000 evaluation, I was told the whole toe needed to come off to the tune of $2500. Over the next week I was seen two times for a bandage change and evaluation, a 20 min appointment tops. On one of these appointments, I was called the night before to confirm, I was asked to have my dog fast. I dropped her off at 745am the next day fasting. My dog was not seen until almost 5pm. I was given excuses for the issues I'd had, the receptionist was new, the caller thought I was having surgery. I had respectfully talked with the office manager several times and she conveyed my situation to the owner, Dr. Newman. She either lied to him or just got it all wrong. He left me a message at 930pm stating he thought the care I received was reasonable. This practice is all about volume, filling the schedule and maximizing revenue. You have been properly warned, proceed at your own peril.

We moved to Virginia from outside the US with our dog (during COVID) and then adopted a puppy after we settled into our house. The Vets, techs, and desk staff at Caring Hands obviously love animals, and are patient in answering each of my questions. I initially considered shopping around for a Vet, but there is no way I would take my dogs anywhere else.

I have been taking my kitties here for years and my friends and I continue to go because of Dr. Bruzzese & Dr. Rouse! They are amazing vets who make both myself and my pets feel at ease with their excellent care and kindness. You can't find this type of service just anywhere! In addition, Kayla is a lovely vet tech. She is always very helpful with my pet's needs and genuinely cares for their well being. Front desk staff is great! My pets have very involved health issues so their care is extremely important to me.

New system of calling only works if they answer the phone. Which takes 3 to 4 calls to achieve. Then they tell you to call back....what?!?!? Simple things like picking up prescriptions can take 4 to 5 call attempts just to get someone to fill and then they tell you to call once you arriv for pick up. I like the no contact system but answer your phones.

This is the best vet you can go to! Front desk women, techs, and vets are amazing and so welcoming. Megan has been SO nice, helpful, and caring with our 2 dogs that we take here. Dr. Trang is patient (with our crazy puppy), amazing and so knowledgeable! We’ve taken our dogs here for over 10 years! I 100% recommend taking your pets here! Same day appointments, sometimes can get seen within the hour of calling. Love this place and the people!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Do not take your cat here under any circumstances. They have no sense of urgency and lack empathy.

We are so grateful for the Caring Hands team. They are quick to respond to our pets’ needs and the doctors (and technicians) take the time to explain medical issues in detail. We have seen several doctors and have loved them all. Thank you, Caring Hands, for taking such great care of our three dogs

We have been back to Caring hands for about a year after stopping back in August of 2018. In my previous review I mentioned some issues we had with several of the vets and a medical problem that ultimately required a specialist visit to deal with after a month of pricey follow ups with the issue actually getting worse. I posted that review 2 years ago and dropped my star rating to 2 because of our experience and their new policies. Yesterday I received a phone call from the founding vet very concerned about the situation after seeing my review. He had not been involved much with this location for a number of years and was clearly concerned about what happened. We talked for a long while and told me to contact him directly should anything like what happened 2 years ago happens again. During our time away from Caring hands we tried another local vet but our experiences there was much worse. So after a year we decided to try caring hands again. The vets that treated our dog several years ago are gone now. We primarily see Dr. Bruzzese but the other two vets have been very kind and the experience has been more like the Caring Hands we knew and loved many years ago. I hope that it continues.

We brought our Pumpkin boy here (orange tabby) for an emergency appointment and we are now going to switch to them for our vet services. They explained everything to us, offered solutions, and made us feel at ease. The prices are VERY affordable and I am thankful they are helping our boy get better! I highly reccommend them to anyone looking for a vet! Thank you to the entire staff!

I adopted my kitten at the beginning of the month and they were able to get him in for his first visit very quickly. Everyone there was beyond friendly and answered all of my questions. They even were able to demonstrate how to cut his nails through a window, covid friendly style ????

Caring Hands does a great job of taking care of my two little fluffies. They always call to follow up after an appointment, the front desk is always super helpful, they have good/flexible hours, and the vets all seem knowledgeable and very caring. They seem like a family. I have 2 cats and have been seeing them for over a year now. I recommend!

Fantastic!! We took our cats there for 10 years and now we are taking our dog there as well. Every doctor there is always professional, helpful, and answers all my questions. We moved and I tried to go to another vet and I felt like they had their own agenda and weren't really listening. We went back to Caring Hands and won't turn back. I highly recommend them!
