I am very impressed with Jess the Physical Therapist at KVH. She is most knowledgeable, and takes the time to answer all questions. My Boston Terrier has been taken in by energetic staff, that are loving and kind. The PT exercise program sent to me included videos to watch to aid in home treatments. The covid protocols in place covers the staff, patients and pet owners. The inside is immaculate. My dog is improving rapidly, and I am well pleased with all of my encounters there.

Best place for your fur baby. Honestly the most reliable and efficient vet! Highly recommend them, everyone is super sweet and kind also very helpful with any questions I have.

My 1st appt with them and the Vet and Staff were wonderful. Dr. Hendel and Jessica took their time to explain all options for the best care for my dog. I never felt rushed.

We are very pleased with Dr. Handel and the care we receive from this vet. Dr. Handel is so patiently explaining all the details for how to take good care of our rabbit as our bunny is a senior rabbit now. We really appreciate that!!

The staff was very friendly and explained everything they would do and then explained what they found after the exams for my 2 cats. The wait time was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this practice!

The folks at Kentlands Veterinary are always pleasant and helpful. Dr.’s Handel and Rietz are very professional and do the right thing for your animal. We have a rescued rat terrier mix (who bites) and they always go out of their way to get her procedures done quickly so she doesn’t get stressed out. The vet tech Johanna is our dogs absolute favorite. She carries her in in the blanket I provide to get her nails clipped, check her ears, whatever is needed. My daughter and neighbors all go to Kentlands for their animals care. I wouldn’t go to any other veterinary practice. Five stars ⭐️ + for Kentlands Veterinary!

The office is friendly and highly professional. Dr Handel and Dr Reitz have taken care of my dog for the past 10 years. I would trust no other practice to provide such excellence of care.

This is the most amazing vet service I've ever been to. They healed my dog when my current vet was making me wait long wait times that he couldn't afford.

Staffs were very nice and warm to our 10-week old puppy; she was very happy and comfortable with them. Doctor Reitz thoroughly examined the puppy, gave her the appropriate vaccination and medicines. Doctor Reitz has good communication skill, mapping out the plan of medical care for the first year of the puppy's life. We felt very assured and confident in the care our puppy receives at KVH. Awesome staff! The doctor was great, personable and informative. I couldn't get an appointment anywhere else. They heard my doggie's woes and they stepped up to help right away. Highly recommended!

I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. Everyone is friendly, professional and really takes the time to talk things through with me. I have had nothing but great experiences with all of the doctor's and one of my dogs goes to PT and absolutely adores everyone there, she looks forward to getting in the car to see her buddies. I recommend KVH to anyone looking for a high quality all inclusive practice and have had a couple friends switch and are as happy with their decision as I am with mine. Ziva and Sasha and I would give them 10 stars if we could, but we will settle for 5 stars, 2 thumbs up and two enthusiastic woofs!

We live outside of Gaithersburg and have used a vet hospital in Ijamsville. We have been thrilled with our service at the Kentlands Veterinary Hospital. Our older dog who has arthritis has benefited from treatment with Jessica Lorey who is a Certified Canine Rehab Practitioner.

Dr. Handel is GREAT!! He spends time talking with you and listening to make sure you are doing the best for your pet!! This visit was for a healthy visit for a new to us 4 year old ragdoll cat and he was so thorough in checking her out...and as promised on the 2nd day her lab work came back and he took time to call us and just chatted about our goals for Booberry:-) we no she is in good hands and hope she lives for 18 years like her predecessor Dr Handel took care of!

Dr. Handel and his staff are amazing! Our Kitty was in desperate need for a vet to do a mastectomy due to tumors and they handled everything right away. Estimates were done and it was surprisingly A LOT LOWER than another facility. You know it wasn’t all about the money. They really cared, the staff (Marsha, Emma, etc) took care of our furball from the time we walked in until the time they brought her out after the procedure. The manager Ms. Chapman was also on top of scheduling and billing, she made sure it was a smooth process for us. And Dr. Handel was awesome. He explained everything well and made sure I wasn’t left uninformed. I didn’t even have to be calling and following up, he called me right away after the surgery. It means a lot to have PEACE OF MIND. So take my word for it, should you need a vet for your animal babies, Kentlands Veterinary Hospital is the place to go.

After a miscommunication with the front desk, Dr. Handel went out of his way to call me back and fit me in right away. He also said I could email him even though he wouldn't be working the next day and he has responded to my emails. I greatly appreciate his kindness and willingness to always go above and beyond. Dr. Handel was amazing with our new puppy Bella. My wife said she was blown away by how thorough, very thoughtful, and how much time he spent with Bella and my wife. Dr. Handel shared a lot of tips which we needed for an 8 weeks old puppy. He didn’t just answer questions but shared information that we wouldn’t have thought to ask. We wished we had brought our other dog Sophie to Kentlands Veterinary Hospital when we first adopted her. The staff at the front desk were very welcoming and great with Bella. They explained all her medications in great detail . Very friendly. Martin the vet assistant was amazing. Dr. Handel and Martin treated Bella like she was their own. My wife loved the atmosphere and said that’s how a Vet should be. Oh plus Bella came back with goodies ????. Very highly recommended!

I brought my cat there for the first time today and was extremely satisfied. The staff was very responsive, understanding, and friendly. They were great with my cat and any questions I had. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Dr Handle, is so amazing! I’ve never met him in person but am totally impressed with all the time he has spent with me on the phone! Nastaha at the front is amazing!!!

Kentlands Vet team is extremely professional and caring about my pets. Although my dog mostly sees Dr. Haendel, I'd be extremely confident to see any other professional in the clinic. The technical support/administrative team is also extremely nice, competent and responsive. I will choose them over and over again for my pets.

Amazingly warm and friendly staff. I took my 10 week old Havapoo puppies to get their second round of shots. Dr. Reitz made it quick and painless, and the puppies felt safe and happy. I feel very grateful that I get to work with her and the whole team at Kentlands Vet!

While I have yet to meet our vet in person, she has been entirely responsive and helpful. She performed our dog’s neutering and all went well.
