The personal hear did a good job taking care of my dog, very professionals!

Dr. Liberto and the team at LFAH cared for our sweet girl Bingo for years and treated both her ACLs (even laser therapy) as well as other issues she encountered as she aged to 14. When the time came and we eventually brought home a new pup, Kona, we of course took him to LFAH. They are warm, friendly and organized. (They remind me when we're due for a visit with a text system I love). They explain everything and are willing to go over prices and options with you in advance. The space is clean and welcoming. They have also been great about keeping everyone safe during the pandemic. Kona is excited to visit everyone there because he recognizes animal lovers when he sees them (we were just there yesterday for a check up and shots and he still loves them). I recommend this place to all my friends.

Had a wonderful experience with neutering my cat at lake forest animal Hospital with Dr Lamar. She is very attentive and answered all of my questions post procedure. Very happy with the staff as well. Could not recommend more!

I love it here! My s/o family recommended us this vet - top notch care and amazing from the front to the tech & doctors. Nail trims are quick and always available , sick visits are definitely a must for us and even when I have “ questions “ they are always delivered to the doctor and responded on time. I literally never have to call to follow up on anything, they are on it!! We have seen Dr.Lamar and she has always given us great care and we have always felt safe with every decision made. We have a rescue that was a stray & had HW, was in very bad shape and doctor Lamar has gone above and beyond to help us with any and every question - care has been amazing here. I highly recommend , thank you all for your amazing attitude and sympathy & caring for your furry friends and families! ????

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET TO THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT YOUR PET TO SURVIVE !!!!!!It is so sad to see that how this DOC is money hungry!!! I never seen any veterinarian be so careless about pets. HE KILLED MY BELOVED POODEL!!! He is MAD!!! All they see is $$$ not your pet well being. ,, maybe it is time for this vet to BE AWAY FROM PETS. base of lack of responsibility, confusion, wrong diagnostic,monety asking and wrong treatments for your pets.

I absolutely LOVE this vet! I took my dog to Dr. Liberto 20 years ago and now I am bringing my puppy to him again. Dr. Liberto and Dr. Lamar are both extremely skilled, kind, compassionate doctors. As long as I live in this area, I will be taking my pets here.

This staff is the cream of the crop. They treat your pet as if it were their own.

I bring my current foster cats here for extensive medical issues, including treatment for mites and infections, diagnosing diabetes, and extracting almost a whole mouth of teeth. Everyone, from the office staff to vet techs and vets themselves, is respectful, patient, and understanding. Doctors and vet techs explain every detail thoroughly as possible and are willing to take the time to address every question or concern, even if the practice starts getting busy. Appointments are pretty easy to schedule with their flexible practice hours and relatively quick availabilities. Coming here definitely takes the anxiety out caring for ill pets. I and my dog LOVE LFAH! They were able to treat and heal my precious pup.

I used to take my dogs to Banifield out of convenience, but now that I know better I will only come to Lakeforest Animal Hospital. The entire staff from the front to the back, were all extremely kind and professional. They squeezed us in as an urgent care walk in and advised us we were possibly going to have to wait a while. I completely understood and was more than okay with waiting however long needed. To my surprise we were in and out in less than an hour!! The vet tech took us back and immediately began to explain what was going to happen and came back in 20 minutes with a quote. Very reasonably priced and worth every single penny. 25 minutes later and the vet tech returns with my dog...they gave him an updated rabies vaccine, flushed his wound, cleaned his ear, started him on antibiotics and provided us with flea/ tick medication- again, all in under an hour and for a bargain price. The vet was lovely (I’m sorry I forgot her name), she was knowledgeable and compassionate. Thank you to the amazing staff! I will be recommending this place to all my friends and family.

No waiting room because of Covid, very friendly staff, clean exam rooms, they answered all of my questions and my kitty is very happy.

I had my 6 month old Shiba Inu neutered here. Everything went well and he was back to normal and off his cone after a week. Everyone was extremely nice and professional. With the AWLMC certificate, I only paid half of what my original vet quoted.

I have been a client of Dr. Mark Liberto and LFAH since 1997. I have watched it grow for the past 23 years and it is Dr. Liberto and his exceptionally outstanding staff who make LFAH the success it is today. Loving care, compassion and commitment combined with today's most advanced technological equipment make LFAH a true leader in the industry.

Currently in the parking lot, waiting for my kitty to be released and I am just beyond relieved to have found this place. One short conversation with the doctor and I immediately feel that I can trust him. I explained everything going on and he quickly found ways to accommodate our situation and find the best path of treatment for my babyboy. Vet visits give me extreme anxiety and generally an uneasy feeling overall but I can say for the first time in a long time, I’m leaving here reassured. Will definitely be coming back in the future!

Dr. Lamar is wonderful; knowledgeable, patient, caring, takes time to explain, and terrific w my grumpy 120 lb. pup. Why not 5 starts? It's pricey, more so than my old Bethesda vet (no way is rent more out in Gaithersburg, so why the high prices?)
