My Griffin had been in a fight with a stray that was coming around. I had cleaned the bites but he was developing a lump in one of them. Dr. Huntsman took him without an appointment. She cleaned it further and checked him over to insure there were no further problems.

I cannot sing enough praises for this vet clinic. Front staff has always been so kind and helpful, and my cat Flower has been well taken care of for years now.

I use just cats as my preferred vet. It is a personal experience every time I walk in the door.

The staff is very caring and compassionate. The vet is one of the best vets I have had the pleasure to working regarding my pet's medical care.

Dr. Huntsman squeezed me for an emergency appointment. I had taken my cat to 2 different vets 2 days in a row saying something was wrong with back leg. When they didn't feel any obvious breaks told me she was just bruised and she's fine. My gut told me other wise. Dr. Huntsman and her team were like night and day compared to the 2 other vets we saw she looked as prev paperwork I brought with and actually listened to me! She then saw my baby girl try to walk and instantly said we need to get her x-rayed. She had a broken hip!!!! Thank goodness Dr. Huntsman was able to fit us in. Only vet that will be seeing baby from now. Pricing was pretty close to prev vet, in fact I think it was a little less.

Dr. Kathy has taken such great care of our cats for over 20 years! Fredericksburg is so lucky to have her! Her clinic is immaculate but still has a welcoming feel. You can tell that Dr. Kathy Huntsman is devoted to doing things the right way. I’ve never met a more compassionate vet. She goes above and beyond to treat her patients and their owners with the utmost respect and kindness. Thanks Dr. Kathy! A very satisfied and grateful client.

My cat squeals with delight when she hears Dr. Huntsman’s voice. She takes great care of my cat and I just couldn’t be happier with everything she has done to help keep my little Persian love bug cat healthy. Don’t hesitate to take your cat(s) for her care.

Dr. Kathy reuses dirty medical supplies (sutures, stitching, syringes with blood and pain Mediciation, ect.) sutures and scapple blades. She has not trained her team to monitor patients after sedation, they simply get put into a cold cage with nothing but to lay on a towel until they shiver awake. (Just like with people, Patients body temperature drops during sedation and need to be warmed throughout and after procedures. She has a device called a bear hugger which warns patients but will not use unless a special occasion. I didn’t know how wrong some things were. I knew it seemed off but I trusted this woman with my whole heart. This was my first clinic job. I know how wrong these things are now that I am property educated. She sedated a patient for euthanasia and before injecting the patient with the euthasol, she left the patient on the table while she had a 20-30 minute phone conversation laughing and talking while this poor patient just waited. I still remember that patients name and the way he looked at me. He didn’t deserve it. Dead bodies are placed on the floor or left in rooms for hours instead of being properly and respectfully handled. I’m so sorry. I ended up leaving after consulting with other knowledgeable people in the field and got sick once I realized the abuse that was happening. Her dog runs around taunting and barking at the patients in the cages with no coverings. It is not a dog free facility. I wish I was was lying. I love animals too much to not speak up... I am sorry I didn’t use my voice sooner. I wish there was something I could do. Please if you love your animal do not take them here. I hope things are better with the clinic no longer being curbside.

I would be devastated if I had to take my fur babies anywhere else. Dr. Cathy is extremely knowledgeable and holds her self to very high standard, that aside she is a deeply compassionate person who genuinely cares about her patients and their parents. I have had many vets over the last several decades, some good some bad. Dr. Cathy is the absolute best.

I took my 20 years old cat in with concern of her pain. I knew a head of time it was probably time for her to go. They worked me into their busy schedule quickly, and were very empathetic with me and my dear kitty. I'm so grateful for their help in her not suffering anymore.

They treat your cats like they were their own. The doctor lives them all.

Took in a traumatically injured kitten. Staff was exceptional and saved our little guy. Bed side manner was wonderful when things didn't look good. But Dr. Kathy kept at it and got him back on his feet.

As expected great service, with the added extra care, knowledge and concern for the well being of my dear pet. The updates and personal one on one review us by far the best service ever!

Called twice to speak with the doctor about my cat and his emergency situation, the receptionist didn’t give me the doctor both times, the first time I called she told me to hurry up and ask my question and I told her I needed to talk to the doctor she said ok I’ll leave a message she will call you back, never called back, called again asked to speak with the doctor about coming in early because my cat had an opened wound on his body and was in distress she told me she only had one opening and could not change the day around to accommodate my emergency situation, left a one star review and the doctor THEN calls me back and leaves a voicemail telling me she is cancelling my appointment bc of my review and that it’s not their fault that they can only accommodate emergency situations....however did not care one bit about my emergency situation or calling me back after both time. Called another vet, told them what was wrong and they told me to come in right away and they will re arrange their day since it was an emergency. That is the difference between a vet just in it for the money and a vet who actually cares about animals. If I could leave zero stars I would. Worse experience and worse customer service I’ve ever experienced.

This place is absolutely fabulous the doctor and the staff are so caring and nice...I was so worried about a procedure with my two cats Chi chi and pretty boy... they made it so pleasant and put me at ease..

Dr. Huntsman and her staff are kind, friendly, compassionate, knowledgeable, and as the practice name suggests, a speciality practice focused on cats. There are many fine vets in the Fredericksburg area, but Just Cats is my choice for kitty care.

Take excellent care of my cats. Work with cat parents,teach needed txs, and follow-up for issues.

This vet service for cats is outstanding. Two things from our last visit there yesterday especially struck me: That a staff member carried the cat carrier into the examination for me and later offered to take it to the car. My cat is over 13 lbs, so this helped me a lot. Second, Dr. Huntsman took the time to educate me on cat food. Thanks!
