On time. Professional! It was my very first visit. Doctor and her assistant are very knowledgeable and well managed my cat who would be always frightened. My cat just sit still for vaccination seemed very comfy. They went over vaccination history and made me a recommendation. I am very pleased with petco and would use them again.

Truly grateful to the grooming staff here. My Jazz is 14 years old and suffering with some medical issues and Pet Smart didn’t feel comfortable grooming him anymore. I almost gave up on getting him groomed but I decided to make an appt with Petco and I’m so happy I did. The young lady that checked me in was so wonderful and she thoroughly checked Jazz over and went over the paperwork & I felt relaxed leaving my baby. His groomer did such a wonderful job grooming him. I was very pleased when I picked Jazz up. I feel bad because I forgot his name. I don’t know how much time my Jazz has left but I wanted him to look good, smell good and feel good. So a BIG THANKS to you guys.

Way better than petsmart when it comes to the caretaking of the animals and specifically the fishies.

So the clerks were kinda absent minded and didn't even realize I was in the store. Sadly this was a good thing because a snarky employee came up to me and said oh were closed. As in I was there for long enough the store closed before anyone asked me why I came to shop in the fish area. Good thing too cause I found multiple dead as doornail fish. Kinda sad too because at that point I wanted to buy the fish to rescue them from certain deaths. There are better petco in fairfax. Maybe your experience is better for other animals.

I've lost count of how many times I've had to run into this Petco to grab random items and although they're a smaller and quieter pet store they've never let me down. They can be a bit understaffed at times but their service otherwise is great. Only issue is the parking lot can be really challenging to get in and out of depending on the time of day.

I had Vicky give me excellent advice and recommendations for dog food and treats. She took time out of her day to walk me around and show me specifically what she recommended, and I really appreciated that. Also, I have a large german shepherd, and his bag of food is also large haha, and they even offered to help carry it to my car. I just love how thoughtful, knowledgeable, and kind this store is. I drive out of my way to go to this store, specifically, and I think their staff should be praised and acknowledged for their exceptional service.

First grooming appointment here and will definitely be coming back! Boheme did an INCREDIBLE job cutting my spaniel’s hair. Very friendly as well :) Thank you!

Came here today 8/17/21 to get a ferret for my son, after asking the cashier with the blond haircut to see the ferret. She called for help with small animals. No one came. So we went to 5 below to blow off time. Came back and asked again about seeing the small animals, help with small animals was spoken over loud speaker 3x. Unfortunately, Renee (the manager/small animal staff) never came out to help. The blond cashier saw us standing, and frustrated and never apologized. Only saying Renee is the manager. Left with no animals, terrible experience. Do better. Never experienced this lack of service at a Petco in my life.

Pricey, but decent enough place to wander around in. The selection of dog toys and treats is great, and the store is always clean

The employees here are so nice and helpful. I rarely do in store shopping. It's do much easier and convenient to order online. First time I took advantage of the 20% off online order and store pickup. It is very disappointing that many of the online items are not available for store pick up. Not sure why. Items that are available might not be at the store, that I found out when I got the ready for pickup email. I always visit the small animals at the pet stores... I was very disappointing to see 4-5 decent size guinea pigs housed in such a small tank... About 20 gallon. One guinea pig needs at least twice the space. I hope they are not stuck in there until someone buys them from the tank. Overall, my shopping experience at this Petco is great!! ... Except for the housing for the guinea pigs. ????

Very good costumer service, I found what I was looking for, cat food, in a average price maybe a little bit expensive. There are no choices for a cheap cat food brand to feed "feral"cats other wise a lot to choose from.

Fast and efficient service. I was in and out in no time.

Good and friendly service in the aquarium department the day I went in. I had a few questions about fish and the condition of my aquarium water, and the person there was nice.

Groomers were fantastic, we have huskies and I was amazed how well the groomers groomed my oldest and the price was fantastic. They also have mobile vaccinations from vecto. Definitely a great value and super convenient..

The place was poorly organized and dirty. Looks as if the corporation used to care about this place but gave up. There was only 1 employee visible and she was very nice
