The best place for day care and boarding. Great staff. Our dog is not a friendly dog, and she was taken care of based on her needs. Highly recommend.

They have been very patient with our nervous dog, Norma. She has taken a long time to get even remotely comfortable. When I pick her up, I can tell that she is cared for despite her being a bit difficult at times and not the most outgoing dog. The facility is clean and has ample outdoor space. It is comforting that they are attached to a veterinary clinic, if anything should happen. All of the staff members are kind and give off a dog lover vibe. We have also been doing some training with Morgan, and it has helped immensely after just a handful of sessions. Morgan is very knowledgeable and clearly loves dogs. I feel good leaving Norma in their care, and I definitely recommend them if you need doggy daycare or boarding!

I just got quoted $50 for a day of daycare. Will never be going back.

Our little Henry was outside playing when I came to pick him up. He was so joyful & happy playing outside with his new friends! He was happy & very verbal when we got in my car like he was telling me all about camp! Then he told his Dad when we got home. An hour later he got in bed and slept for 10 hours w/ a happy smile on his face! We love the presidential suites as it’s much more comfortable for him. We will always use their vet & boarding service! We don’t worry about him when he’s in their care!

Our dog Gracie loves it and honestly that’s all that matters!! But we love it too. Best grounds, and pool, and people that care, can’t ask for more.

They provided the booster shots needed to board our dog. He came home as healthy as we left him with a cute report card summing up his visit. He seemed to enjoy his stay and boarding wasn't as expensive as I expected. We will be returning should we need to board again. They made drop off, pick up, and payment as easy as possible.

I started bringing my Labrador here for daycare several days a week. She really enjoys it and I enjoy the updates I get from the caregivers. Nashely shows me adorable videos of my pup playing in the pool!

Paid good money for my dog to be kept safe and they couldn't keep this place any cleaner then a city pound. Kennel Cough. Nothing like having to hear your dog live with a persistent dry hacking throughout the night that keeps them awake. One ✬

Only place we leave our dog. We know they will be well taken care of.

My Frenchie loved the resort, she loves the staff. What I don’t love is their PRICE Gouging. You have to go over your bill. It COSTS $20.00 for a nail clipping not grinding to Petsmarts $10 for clipping. They are DOUBLE THE PRICE. I don’t mind paying but you guys are OVERPRICED ‼️ Maggie Jones.

Great and friendly staff. My two dogs are always happy and excited to stay and make new friends during their play times.

Very nice facility and friendly staff but very disappointed with their temperament testing policy. We boarded our 5 month old lab puppy for 6 nights/7 days for the boarding plus 1 group playtime rate thinking she would be a fairly quick/easy temperament candidate considering her breed, age and friendly playful demeanor. Instead we were charged the boarding rate and group playtime plus another personal playtime daily charge for the entire visit. So essentially the normal boarding rate plus $20/day for someone to let her out by herself. When asked why she was not moved to group play, was told they didn’t have a chance to temperament test her but I was more than welcome to bring back and pay for several more daily visits to see if they could get it in. I would certainly think a week would be more than ample time to get this done. The group play time option was the primary reason we picked West Chester over other local kennels which proved to be a huge disappointment....

For our dog this place is a mini vacation he gets two walks a day, play time with the other pups, and (his favorite) a swim in the pool! They always take good care of both our pets and leave our mind at ease during our travels.

grounds are very well kept and spacious-dogs are very well monitored and grouped accordingly on an ongoing basis -most of all the staff seems to function out of a positive connection with the dogs and their owners

This MIGHT be a great place. Unfortunately, I don't know because there was next to no communication about my dog's stay. For almost $45 a night, I expected a couple of texts, and at least one photo. Instead I got to peruse the FB page every day looking through pictures of many other dogs happily playing in the pool or running around. I called three times, and was told each time (including the day before I was to pick him up after a week's stay) that he was "beginning" temperment testing, the pre-requisite to playing with dogs in a group. But I was never told the results of that testing, not even on my final "report" which told me simply that my dog had eaten well, slept well and was a good boy. That's great, but for $13-$18 more than just about any other kennel in town, I expected more. People willing to pay premium prices expect premium service, and good communication. I may have gotten one (who knows?) but I definitely didn't get the other.

I do not know why this review came up under Jan Zentmeyer, my daughter. I am Anita McLemore and I want to rate West Chest Pet Resort with the definite 5 star rating 5 plus if I could. Riley, our Matipoo has been staying there for years when we are out of town. West Chester is perfect in every way. When we leave Riley there we know he will be taken excellent care of. The personnel is "patient" when sometimes I call back just to touch base. They always put me through to speak with the person back in the kennel with Riley. I highly recommend West Chester to everyone who needs to board their pet. We are in North Chesterfield so it is usually a 30 minute drive to Chester and 30 minutes back, but the peace of mind is worth every minute.

Having an older dog with some health issues I am very pleased with the care she gets at Westchester.

Chester Pet Resort is by far the greatest pet boarding I’ve experienced so far. They have the friendliest and most accommodating staff who are there because they love animals - and it shows. They have a trainer on staff who is AMAZING! I doubt my dogs even went near the pool, but they have a super cool bone shaped pool if your doggo likes to go swimming. I highly recommend checking them out, especially since they give the same level care (if not more) than those designer boarding facilities that make you pay for “a la carte” services just so your dog gets paid attention to.

I love this facility so much, my dog Lucy has been coming here now for 2 years and he absolutely loves it, he loves to run and jump in the bone shaped pool they have, and loves playing his friends there even more. Thank you so much West Chester Pet Resort for loving and taking great care of my Lucy.

Fenway had a great first day and came home tired. Success! The staff is super friendly and nice.

Our 2 German Shepherds stayed here for about 4 days. We called and checked on them while they were there. When we picked them up they smelled horrible. They gave our dog's pillows back to us in black garbage bags, the two employees that gave me the bags wouldn't even look at me. We were disgusted and horrified when we returned home and opened the bags up, it was soaked in urine and had feces all over it. No one called to ask us if they wanted us to disposed of it. Our dogs smelled like they were left to live in their own urine & feces the whole time. I am so disappointed in their care at this "resort".

My pet always enjoys going to the West Chester Pet Resort. The staff is always friendly and helpful whenever I drop him off for his stay there. They take wonderful care of him and I get a report of how his visit went when I pick him up. I recommend the Pet Resort to anyone who is looking for a place for their pet to stay while they are away.

All my dogs: Five, Karlie, Olivia Grace, and Bill LOVE West Chester Pet Resort. They have pet and human friends to play with and socialize. They love swimming in the heated saltwater pool. And all of us adore Jocelyn.
