Didn't have to wait long to a hamster

I have always been leary of chain store grooming, but as a last resort I brought my Shih Tzu here and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were great and her haircut was on point. I cannot speak for all Petsmart Salons, but this one impressed me and we will be returning.

They are a little on the expensive side but they have the better food for your dog.

Honestly, I was solely a Petco parent until I've finally noticed PetSmart carries more of what I'm looking for. They have a great toy selection, a superb leash and collar collection, my dog's food which is no longer carried by Petco, my second dog's tummy sensitive food which is not carried by Petco, and the only treats they love. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. I still recommend Petco to friends, but I'm not hesitant to tell them I predominently shop at PetSmart.

I love this place. I have a wonderful experience every single time I go to get bedding for my rats, or food for my dog. The staff is friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful when I have questions about my animals diet. Wouldn't change a thing. 3 outta 5 stars all day.

Does not offer cat grooming.

We Purchased our first furry friend and had to pick up a lot of the items that go along with owning a pet. They walked us through the process step by step and made sure we had everything we needed. Kudos to the staff there especially Nicole ????. Thank You

Was looking for fish for my outdoor pond, no Shubukin but did find a Comet

Sales clerk was very helpful and courteous. He helped us find the exact product we were looking for and assured us if it wasn't right we could bring it back. I am always pleased with the service i get here whether it is grooming or products I need.

I actually found a reasonably priced toy for my A Grey

I would not recommend this Petsmart for grooming with Shelby. I took my pup today that is a Shorkie mix that weighs maybe 25 pounds for his first appointment. She seems to take along time to take him in the back stating "I want to make sure he doesn't bite". I told her if he does bite you would be the first. She called a hour later stating that she couldn't complate the grooming appointment because he "tried" to bite her. Talk about self fulfilling prosphesy. I asked to speak to the grooming manager because I didn't want my pup noted as a biter just in case I needed to try another groomer. He had the same bad attitude as her. She even lied and said that he tried to bite her at the initial appointment.I asked if he tried to bite you why would you accept him for grooming? No answer. The only reason I went there is because my pup went through the beginners puppy training and the vet clinic that he use to go to has lost 2 groomers in the last 6 months. Neither have reported that he has ever tried to bite them. He has had a total of 4 groomers in the 17 months and no one has had a problem with completing a grooming appointment or stated he has bitten at them. I would recommend the Petsmart grooming department find staff that is interested in grooming animals.

I was able to find food my finicky poodle would eat and flea spray safe enough for my dog and cat..

They don't have much for cats. My cat wasn't happy and told me not to go there anymore.

I stopped in today to browse for the things I needed to set up my new five-gallon aquarium. Nicole helped me find what I needed (thermometer, heater, Quick Start, and Stress Coat). I probably asked her a thousand questions, and she was more than happy to answer every one of them, giving me great advice and customer service. She physically showed me my options and explained each one very well. Thanks, Nicole! The store seemed like it was clean and tidy, and the associates were all very personable and friendly, each one giving great customer service. Keep up the great work! ❤️????????

Horrible grooming experience . Dropped my dog off for a bath & cut , and received a call 3 hours later around grooming closing time saying he was “ready” but the groomer tech named Ashley R. was unable to cut him because he would try to bite . My dog has been to PetSmart at many different locations many times and has never had an issue with any groomer being able to cut his hair , nor does he bite . I believe they were coming close to closing time and just didn’t want to finish the job . When I got there to pick him up, she just stared in my face the entire time while some other girl spoke for her . Ashley did not apologize for the inconvenience or anything, and being the Person I am, I still tipped something just to be nice , but be aware , her service was trash . I will stick with his normal grooming company , PetSmart will not be receiving my business again .

So glad they put a Petsmart in Chester. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. I've even had staff offer to look for stuff in the back because they had a delivery. Above & beyond
