Very cool experience bringing my 11 year old daughter to see the birds here. She has 4 parakeets and is a bird lover, she is still talking about all of the awesome birds she got to see.

TC Feathers punches above it's weight. They take excellent care of the birds in their care. Bird food and toys are priced modestly. If you're looking for a bird (after you firmly understand that a bird is a 4 hour minimum commitment PER DAY - not to be caged and forgotten, or a status symbol) this is an excellent choice.

A great place to go if you like birds, sometimes you can hold them. There is a room you can visit with probably around 100 birds. They sell a lot of bird related items such as food and toys. An enjoyable place to hangout for a few hours

Pretty cool place overall, a huge selection of birds. We came in for a finch and unfortunately were given the wrong one and didn’t notice until we got home an hour later. We wanted a younger one to go with the one at home, specified one with the black cheeks, not white. Younger like mine as to not cause territorial/dominant behavior after the introductory period. A huge bummer, but I’d hate to bring the poor thing back. But it would have been nice to get the one I paid the $45 for. Maybe next time, if we visit again.

Clean, packed full of specialized bird products, and a lively place. The employees and volunteers are highly experienced and helpful. Although, you may need to frequently call in about incoming birds, because they usually do not have the exact one you want that day.

I just picked up Cleopatra today. She is a green cheeked conure that was up for adoption. The staff was so helpful. This young gentleman taught me a lot about her. They were also nice enough to give a care sheet with the previous owners phone number. Cleopatra has already bonded with me very well. Great place will be back

Nice refuge for our feathered friends. Noticed quite a few la cucarachas.

Most birds are for looks NOT SALE. Very deceiving. Thought I was going in to make a connection with a bird to purchase but NOPE. NO such luck... Constantly told "oh that bird is staying here for now". So I'm confused ???? are they purely for breeding purposes? Then just say that...

We bought our precious caique here. They are great about letting you handle your bird for the first few months before they can come home with you. It makes a huge difference. Our bird is very bonded to us and a joy to own. We've also called with questions here and there and the staff have always given helpful recommendations or pointed us to an Exotics vet when needed.

Staff is very helpful and informative. They do board birds aswell. Building is clean and the cages are well kept. .

It's a great place , we asked them not to clip bird wings they said ok but they did clip it anyway very disappointed.

It was wonderful it only took 10 minutes for them to Trim her and I see the difference I am going to start coming here more often

Can't say enough great things about TC Feathers! We've known that we wanted a bird for quite some time but had a difficult time really narrowing down the choice. From the very moment that you walk into TC Feathers, it's a bird lovers paradise. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable and willing to help out from the very moment that you walk into the location. I over heard one of the staff members today while we were there state to someone else that it's a shame when you go to a store and can't really handle a bird or understand what you're getting and that's why many birds wind up here at our aviary as rescues and I couldn't agree more. I completely lost track of time and spent about 2 and a half hours there, searching, asking questions and enjoying the environment. In the end, we selected a baby Quaker Parrot. Thanks TC Feathers!

Wonderful people. The people are so caring and friendly just like how they were when got our yellow shoulder from here 7 years ago.

Very friendly staff when 20 mins before closing time they were very nice about it. So many lovely birds to see and I got to hold them and buy a beautiful sun conure baby. They are pricy $$$. BUT it's worth it they take very good care of them, make a deposit and you can pay it off before you pick up your baby ????.

Absolutely wonderful place to get a feathered friend, they are well kept and cared for and the staff is so kind and helpful. I love that the birds are well socialized and they have space to spread out. Highly recommend this place.❤️

They take really good care of birds here. The owner has taken birds that were abandoned by their owners and have given these birds a home. It is a bird sanctuary and a very nice place where birds are well cared. The baby birds are carefully hand fed and raised. We are looking for possibly owning a bird, but want to make sure we can live up to the commitment as these birds live a long time. In the meanwhile, this is a beautiful place for bird supplies and birds. It is not smelly like other bird stores.

i recommend getting a bird from here if you want one. the birds have a large area to play with, and you can come visit your bird if it isn't weaned yet. Forget about pet stores, this place is a thousand times better. also has a lotta bird supplies. 5/5 for me. ill write another review including my bird once it's weaned, and home.

Still the best Bird place I've been to. Staff knowledgeable about their birds and great to work with. Birds reasonably priced, esp. Compared to the other place in Falls Church. They charge double on some birds. And food. Great selection of toys, food, treats. Always clean, birds healthy.

I adore TC Feathers and their staff. They've been extremely kind and helpful to me. I was devastated after the loss of my six year old sun conure, but when I was ready to bring another bird home they introduced me to a sweet little surrendered dusky. I'm so grateful to them for bringing Nox into my life!

After doing a considerable amount of research, I decided to start my search for a hand raised baby Caique. As a first time bird owner, I had tons of questions- a lot that were answered throughout my research- but a lot of grey areas that different resources advised differently. That being said, the staff at TC Feathers was EXTREMELY helpful answering all of my questions and everyone I’d interacted with had decades of experience. Other aviaries I contacted were asking for a lot more money and I felt that TC’s was very well priced especially considering the level of care they give their birds. I’ve visited a few other bird specialty stores and left feeling sad because the birds just didn’t seem cared for in comparison to how well TC’s cares for their birds. 10/10 will always recommend
