An outstanding experience with the Store Manager, Ms. Howard which was last evening. She went above and beyond in order to build up a new fish tank for my 5 years old grand daughter. It was a birthday present to her and when she saw fish tank she was very happy and wanted to personally thank the store manager for a job well done. You are the best manager ever. Take care and stay safe.

Good selection. Decent pricing. They get a plus for providing cat adoptions for rescue groups BUT cashiers are exceptionally apathetic, outright rude or painfully oblivious. Every single time.

This is the largest well stocked...equivalent to a candy toy store with a perfect (food in bag) restaurant, I've ever seen! Pets probably dream of being the last customer to get of locked in here as ultimate living heaven. Made my eyes sparkle.

The only reason I gave this store a 3 out of 5 is that the price on the item is different than what comes out when your paying for it. I don't like to ask and argue over prices but when my total is off by over $15 dollars.... I think they can do better.

Do not buy fish here! All the tanks are absolutely disgusting. They need a deep cleaning bad and proper water treatment. I used to work at a pet store before and if you’re diligent the tanks NEVER look like that. No excuse! The fish are ill or stressed, lord knows what the water quality is. Not to mention the place reeks like urine as you walk in and I was not greeted by any of the employees, they just walked right by. Very sad. I will rather make the drive to the Reston Petsmart or the Petco in Sterling.

The employees here are helpful and polite. I wanted to buy a fish for my grandson. I was treated beyond poorly at fairlakes. Here not only did I get my fish they explained how to care for it. They also have a huge selection for cats. (I have a kitten) the store is also very clean.

Lee is an exceptional trainer. We learned so much from her. Because of the training provided to our dog, We now know so many things about dogs we never knew before. I will recommend any one to take your pets to PetSmart form training. Lee, the trainer is very helpful and super nice! :)

Groomers are rude and disrespectful! They're are understaffed and unprofessional. Spoke to the store manager that assured me things would improve. Bad experience with Loraina and Amy. Would not recommend.

We've used this location for grooming and for their curbside pickup service. The groomers were excellent and took great care of my very skittish dog who hates being bathed. The employees are all very friendly and helpful.

Do not bring your dog here! The grooming staff is very unprofessional and rude! They treated me and my dog very badly and traumatized my dog. Staff was not willing to answer basic questions and did not care for the well being of my dog. Then spoke with the “manager” Cindy and she was even worse. She did not care about my concern at all. Will never step foot in this PetSmart again! Worst customer service experience ever.

We recently finished advanced dog training classes at the Chantilly location with Lee and I could not be happier! Lee is extremely knowledgeable and has helped me learn how to have a dog that’s a wonderful companion everywhere I take her. I was told when I first got my husky that they’re an extremely difficult breed to train but Lee has made training a breeze. I would highly recommend training with Lee if you’re struggling with your dog. She made us feel welcome and was great at helping everyone in class with their specific needs!

I have been taking my long hair chihuahua to Petsmart grooming salon for the last almost 12 years. I reserved a grooming appointment for my dog as I have done before online for today, 2/21/21. Except this time I got the notification that his rabies record on file had expired and it listed that we’d need to bring proof of vaccination. This was no issue at all as we had already gotten his rabies vaccine renewed and had the supporting documentation from our Vet. For some odd reason, My dog’s heart murmur, which he has had since birth, is suddenly an issue. We were turned away for services as we were told that Petsmart only services pets with a grade 1 or 2 murmur to which my dogs murmur is a grade 3. I totally understand and respect policy changes, however, there was nothing that indicated in the pre-check in process that outlined or detailed this change in policy. No one from the grooming salon took the time to call us prior to driving out to the store for our scheduled appointment either. We are posting this review regarding our poor experience and for other pet owners that have a pet with a grade 3 or higher heart murmur to be aware of this “policy change” that is not communicated. Quite frankly it sounds like a waiver form of some sort should be given as an option for pet owners to assume the risk associated with the grooming services as their pet still has needs. My dog with a grade 3 murmur can go under anesthesia for a 4 hour oral surgery but can’t get a haircut anymore that he has been receiving for years. Since we have no say in the matter, we will be forced to take our business elsewhere.

Just wanted to Say that KAZU did an excellent job with my dog Jake today. Jake was not behaving himself when we went in and was being a little disobedient but Kazu still managed to do an amazing job. Store staff was very friendly and the store was very clean. I have taken Jake to PetSmart in other states and cities and the groomers in my opinion were not 1/4 of talented as Kazu. I have only ever written 4 or 5 compliments to businesses in my life but her outstanding customer service I felt it necessary to write another one today. Thank You PetSmart Chantilly and a special thank you to Kazu
