Pretty Paws Dog Grooming Chantilly, Virginia

I loved coming here, I came a couple of times with my dog and I never had an issue. I waited 2 months for my dog’s appointment and when I get there they said they couldn’t even do a bath and blow drying my dog because he has a double coat. It clearly says what kind of breed he is on his profile. They were so easy in shutting me out without trying to help. Now I have to look up another groomer for the inconvenience.

We took our 7 month old Corgi puppy who has a severe aversion to nail trimming here today and I cannot believe how amazing they were with him. He gets so stressed out with having his nails trimmed that he’s given himself a nose bleed before, but they were still able to relax him enough to get all 4 paws done and they look amazing. Great staff and great customer service! I would recommend them to anyone.

I have two large dogs with a LOT of fur. Every time they are groomed, they look so beautiful. The groomers are very responsive to requests to take off a little more if needed when I pick up. The mats and knots are 95% gone and they look so nice. It's just hard to get an appt because they are so well recommended! I won't take my dogs anywhere else.

Fair warning: this groomer is usually booked out 1-2 months in advance. If you know your dog needs to be groomed 2-3 times a year, make the appointments for the year, all at once. I’ve brought my Lhasa Apso “Schnippy” here for a few years. She literally doesn’t feel like herself when she’s all matted and furry. Anytime I pick her up after an appointment, she’s so spunky and wild, I love it. This place is as professional as it gets and I won’t take her anywhere else!

I have a two year-old mini Goldendoodle that I have been taking to Pretty Paws for over a year now and I used to love taking my dog here to get groomed. I loved how clean and fresh my dog would look when I picked him up at the end of the appointment, but I will no longer be taking my dog here for a couple reasons. One of the main reasons is because there is NO availability; I tried to call to get an appointment within the next week or two, and couldn't an appointment for over a MONTH. The main reason I will not be taking my dog here anymore is because of the trauma my dog has due to going to this grooming salon. We had taken him to other groomers before with no adverse behavior. Now, whenever we take him to the groomers, our dog whines and shakes uncontrollably. If you look inside the grooming salon, you'll see that the dogs that are waiting to be groomed or picked up that they are shoved in an impossibly tiny play pen in the corner of the room. That is not what I want my dog subjected to when I drop him off and I no longer feel comfortable taking him here; I highly recommend you look somewhere else.

Pretty paws is the best we take our dogs Nola and Cosmo and have been taking them since they were a puppy. They love the people there and one of our dogs gets so excited seeing her groomer. We love it but sadly we will be moving farther away so we might have to find another groomer but I am pretty sure we will back here since they take care of our pups so well.

I took my 1y/o pup to get groomed for the first time and was a little worried about how she would do since she’s afraid of strangers. I was told her grooming session went very well and she looks absolutely amazing! She literally looked homeless for months before we finally decided to take her to the groomers. My pup looks like a totally different dog and she’s so cute!! I would never have imagined her first appointment going this well or that she would have come out looking so wonderful. I’ve already booked my next appointment and am so excited to take her back.

I love this grooming place, but most importantly my dog loves it too! The staff is friendly and my cockapoo Mochi always comes out looking his doggy best! Every time we drive to the shopping center in chantilly he gets so excited and runs right to the door ready to say hello to everyone. The drive with traffic on Route 50 is worth it. Pricing is average for the area and we get everything done. Nails, wash, fur cut, ear clean, teeth brushing.

My dog's favorite place to get groomed. They listen to exactly what you'd like and do a great job.

Thank you Pretty Paws for taking such good care of our boy Clyde. He has recently passed, and I can't help but appreciate Pretty Paws for caring for our good boy for years. After every grooming, Clyde would come home with more confidence and would hop around more in the backyard-he knew he felt clean. Clyde would come home with perfectly trimmed tail, clipped nails, trimmed paws, and a cute handkerchief on top of what we had paid for. Thank you Pretty Paws for taking care of our boy for so many years. I highly recommend taking your best friend here for all of their grooming needs.

They did a great job on my poodle! She listened really well to all my instructions on what I want in a cut. They did a fantastic job and did everything I wanted!

Affordable, fast and professional. I was very happy with the grooming they did for my dog. Highly recommended.

They were great for a while then today as we were picking up my dog they said to come now, we came and they were like we need 10 min we will bring her out to you. Turns out they accidentally cut my dog and didn’t wanna mention it. They first tried to hide it, they then denyed anything happened, and finally they tied to blame my mother for it saying it wasn’t them and she probably cut herself at home. She was bleeding before we even left. That is extremely unprofessional and not at all how you handle a situation like this one. Side note she is ok and is not hurting.

I found this place by word of mouth referrals from many doodle owners. I was more than content with how my fur baby looked when I was there to pick her up after her first grooming here. I will definitely go back again!

We’ve been with pretty paws for about three years and every time our dog cosmo goes he comes out looking great, he’s always very soft and smells very good. The staff is also very caring.

I’ve had my Shih-Tzu mix for almost three years. He’s gone to a variety of grommers with OK results. Pretty Paws is the best groomer’s he has been at so far. The groomers were polite and professional and my Shih-Tzu came out looking way better than he has at other groomers. Definitely recommend their services

We just got our dog pirates first groom today and we are extremely happy with the service and specific demands that we had. He also left smelling great and neatly cut!

we have a golden doodle and she has a lot of curly hair and we requested to only cut the hair required and when we got her back she had no hair and we paid basically $100 we felt we got ripped off.Never going back
