I recommend Family Vet when I can. The admin staff is great. They were very patient with my calls when my cat Spaz had to stay the night. My fur baby has seen both Dr. Hendrickson and Dr. Chau and they’re one of the best vets that I’ve taken my cat too.

This vet is very thorough. My one recommendation for them and quite possibly all vets is to have a questionnaire ahead of time to include the questions around food, medications, supplements and so forth. I feed a mix to our dogs and the food and supplements change. So it’s difficult to track. They seem to care though I’d rather work with a vet who pushes vaccines less. I am not a proponent of vaccines for dogs who don’t need them.

We are new to town and hadn’t yet established vet care for our dog Ruby but were planning to this winter when her physical was due. Sure enough, an urgent situation arose this morning and Ruby needed immediate attention. Two “emergency” vet hospitals turned us away. A quick call to Dr Chau’s office lead to the receptionist, who was very kind & professional, arranging for us to have a “drop off” evaluation. Within hours, Dr Chau called me and we had a detailed conversation which left me feeling more clear and comfortable about my dogs circumstance. We are really grateful to this office for accommodating us. We look forward to seeing Dr Chau and her team in the future!

What can I say about Dr. Hendrickson AND her staff to truly explain what an amazing veterinarian she is… I have had experiences with five different animals with her. From the front desk staff to the vet techs the service is exceptional and family friendly. Both of my sisters bring their family pets here as well and have very good experiences. The latest and most notable was a cat ghost that I adopted from a rural shelter. She developed A tumor and when she lost weight I got extremely worried. The veterinarians office was completely booked but because this kitty was in distress and although I had never brought him to this clinic, they offered to do a drop off. In my 25 years of rescuing animals I have never had anyone rearrange their schedule for me to bring in a sick animal at a moments notice. When I brought him in they were ready for him and we were called with the bad news that he had a tumor. It was in operable and we did need to put him down. My entire family arrived that evening and realized from all the stuff that every single person in that office had spent time with Ghost- petting him, taking care of him. He was given a large area instead of a cage. It’s because he mattered to them and it’s because they care. When it came time to put him down we took an hour past they’re closing and they never pushed us along. I didn’t even realize they had closed an hour before until after we left. I would’ve expected to spend A lot of money for something like this. The truth is I’ve been taking dogs there and cats and I have never felt like I even close to over paid. As a matter of fact a lot of things that I would’ve expected them to pay for that I know I’ve even had to pay for at four different vet clinics in South Riding and Stoneridge I did not have to pay for at this clinic. Thankful for all they do and thought other people would love to find this great veterinarian clinic right in our neighborhood - Although I would’ve driven much further!

My 13 1/2 year old dog required removal of a mass in her ear and a good teeth cleaning. Dr Chau was thorough and professional. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We couldn’t have had a better experience.

my husband was trying to get update on our dog but he did not get a call back. Also, I don't understand why we can't walk into the office. i can walk into pediatrician's office with my kids but not with my furry baby.

Dr. Henderson is wonderful with my cat and dog. The cost of my animals' health are reasonable. I have pet insurance for those unexpected costs, which I hope never happen.

Very caring and thorough care for my dogs despite the pandemic. The doctor gives my pets the time that is needed to mutually agree to a treatment plan related to diagnosis and then recommends cost thresholds related to care. Follow up by technicians and front line staff is excellent. Highly recommend.

I cannot praise Dr Chau and her staff highly enough. I just cannot. If you need help, these are the people.

Love this place! Always able to see my dog on a moments notice! Extremely professional and great at what they do. My neighbor recommended them to me and haven’t failed me yet. Went to the neighboring vet and had to come back to them for second opinion. Only vet i trust at this point.

They did great with our dog who was happy going into the hospital and coming out. They answered all my questions and discussed various treatment options for issues he is experiencing.

We've been taking our two large dogs to Dr. Chau for roughly 2 years now and absolutely love her and her staff. I've owned dogs my whole life and have been to many vet practices, and this is by far one of the best. I can't say enough great things about them!

I am very happy with this vet. My cats both hate going to the vet, more so then the normal cat. But they are always well taken care of.

I have a 14 yr old pup who went in for a general wellness exam. He received his core vaccines and unfortunately had a severe allergic reaction the next morning. He was running a fever and couldn't stand. It was clearly a busy Saturday morning for the office and Dr. Hendrickson was quick to fit Bruno in between her other patients. I'm so grateful I did not have to go to the E.R bc I imagine costs would have been significant. Dr. Hendrickson and the Staff were great, kept me updated frequently and followed up once Bruno was home.

Curbside pick up was great. Vet Tech was kind and attentive. Dr. Chau was professional, explained all procedures and what was needed for my 14 week old Shiz Tzu. All of my questions were answered with patience.

I took my dog to see Dr Hendrickson after getting attacked by another dog and they took me without an appointment, treating my Labrador almost immediately and with the best of care. Excellent staff. Great all around. I could not recommend a veterinarian more!!!!
