We recently moved into this area and are new to this location. Called for a last minute appointment and was able to squeeze us in (1.5 days out). From check-in to check out, everyone was helpful. Our Shiba is very difficult and he was well taken care of. Dr LaTour was very knowledgeable and provided detailed information about the exam, how our Shiba behaved during the visit. He explained to his hypothesis and next steps. We asked a lot follow up questions and never once felt like he was rushing us off the phone (covid protocol, overview is provided over the phone, in the car. I would recommend this place for anyone who love their pets and would love for them to get the best treatment and care.

Loved the doctor's and nurses

A few days before the winter holiday, I was pretty concerned with my dog. We were from out of town and staying nearby. When I called Chantilly Animal Hospital, the person I spoke with was patient and reassured me that my dog was probably fine. A day or two passed and my dog's symptoms were worsening so I called again. It was two days before they were closing for the holidays and they managed to squeeze me in even though they were completely booked. I appreciated their covid protocols. They were on time for our appointment and after examining my dog, the doctor spent time explaining our options to make sure I fully understood the situation and options. I'm so grateful that they were willing to take a new dog on right before the holidays. Thank you!

This clinic is amazing. We’ve always had good service, but over the holidays in GA, our dog hurt her leg which had been hurt in the past so we called Chantilly Animal Hospital. Over the phone, Cameron listened about the issue, got advice from the technician, and is working with the physician to prescribe a medication for our dog. He was a pleasure to work with and was patient with all of our questions.

i brought my tuxedo kitty to this office for check up due to some unusual litter box behaviours. the veterinarian team found a couple bladder stones -- thankfully before he ended up with an infection (or worse! a blockage) -- and were able to get him on a regimen that (as of his most recent follow up) has completely dissolved the stones! Dr Tohill also gave me some good recommendations for my Siamese to help with some anxiety issues. I would recommend them to anyone looking for comprehensive, compassionate care for their pets.

It's getting more difficult to find a good vet! I chose this one because it had 4.9 rating with 312 reviews and thought I made the best decision. We took our dog there for the first time and told them on the phone that he has serious skin problems and recently he's limping so we should be with him to point all the issues. They took him on the door and didn't let us in, when he was back they start recommending a list of things (non worked at the end) and the interesting thing was all the staff were suggesting different shampoos and medicines! Was wondering, did I take my dog to a friend gathering for professional opinion or a vet?? We ended up getting his usual medicine (Apoquel) and they charged us 40% more than previous place (and the previous vet was in one of the super expensive cities) I'm not sure what you people are rating for, nice staff? I can bear with a really bad staff for a really good doctor!

Not recommending excessive labs and studys which I appreciate having an older dog with her own little quirks. I'm officially a fan! Thanks for your care!

I just moved over to Chantilly Animal Hospital and was pleased with the information and feedback I got regarding my dog. They did a thorough examination and took the time to report in detail, to me, everything that they found.

Good checkup on our older kitty, but gave us wrong medications, which I caught, not them. They replaced the meds though.

I had to put my beloved dog down. This was a HUGE decision for me. I was very emotional, like anyone would be. I called his vet (Pender) and was put on hold for more than 5 minutes. I then was transferred several times with miscommunication ("are you bringing your pet for surgury?) To top this, I was told by 2 different people who answered the phones there: "everything is booked for the next four days, but you can keep checking back." Checking back??? I am so glad I had this experience because it was clear that was not how I wanted my dog to go. I called around. Chantilly Animal Hospital had a real, concerned person answer. We were able to get in within just a few hours. Chantilly Animal Hospital made this very sad and emotionally charged experience so much better. They were kind and compassionate and were not "all about the money." They made a very, very sad experience so much "less worse" than it had to be. It has been 6 weeks now, and I have been talked in to getting a kitten. "Dotty" will be confidently placed in the arms of Chantilly Animal Hospital.

I recently used Chantilly Animal Hospital for a wellness checkup for my cat. They were very responsive, professional, and easy to work with! I was in and out within 30 minutes. I’d be happy to call this my vet hospital.

First time there. Incredibly friendly staff and doctor, although end of day and even past closing, took the time to have a very long detailed conversation about my dog, Leia. totally invested in my dog's health and explained everything so thoroughly and in a common sense way. Mandy is awesome!!!

This place is just magnificent! My boyfriend and I recently adopted 2 rescues and we chose CAH for their excellent reputation of working with shelter dogs. They sure do have the experience it takes for these special souls. The vet was patient and kind, and even mentioned that he has a 5-month old rescue of his own, which is great, as most vets we've dealt with in our home county of VA have zero compassion for the animals they see. Our physical was free, which is a big help as we are both students. Yet for a free service, the vet we spoke to actually gave us some very sound and helpful advice. Far better than the type of care we get in our county for hundreds of bucks! For the level of competence they exhibit free of charge, we can tell that this place is definitely not in business just for the money. I would trust CAH with my dogs any day. I can't say that for many other places we've been too. I wish I had known of this place when our old dog was still living. She would have been spared much negligence.

What a great experience. Even though we were not regular patients they were able to squeeze us in on the same day between other appointments. Everyone we communicated with so helpful and professional and really provided a great level of comfort knowing that our cat would be in good hands. Dr. Tohill was very thorough in explaining treatment options and the best course of action for our cat while considering the cost impact along the way. So happy we found this place for our pets.

Great first experience. Switching to Chantilly Animal Hospital after very positive experience

Love this vet office. Recently moved to the area and we had an eye emergency on a Friday afternoon. After being turned down by several vets, we tried Chantilly and they said absolutely, we will squeeze him in between appts. The docs and techs are wonderful with our dog. We have been to see Dr. Bingaman a couple times now and she is amazing. She has taken the time to answer all of our questions and we feel Summit is very well taken care of there. Recommend this place to anyone! Prices are reasonable as well.

I’m so happy I found this place. They fit my 5 month old kitten in on a Saturday when no other places would. They are nice, straight and to the point. And the great reviews on here did not disappoint. No hidden costs. I had been taking my cats to Centreville square animal hospital but we moved closer to Chantilly recently. I think we will be switching now. Chantilly is much closer to us ????

We had an amazing experience here with our new puppy. Dr.Tohill was attentive and patient with the millions of questions we had and is very knowledgable. One can tell that he is truly passionate about his work. The Covid measures that were taken were really nice too. Definitely reccomend Chantilly Animal Hospital, they're the best.

They were able to see my cat on very short notice and gave me a lot of helpful information regarding his food sensitivity treatment. They were also open late enough that I could take him in after work, which is great!

Outstanding, loving service. My pup had been out of the area of 3 years and shortly after returning got an illness. Not only did they see her quickly and cure the illness but remembered her after 3 years and commented on the specifics of her improvement and changes of condition.

My poor baby Apollo has had health issues from the start at only 10 weeks old. All of the staff at Chantilly animal hospital have been so attentive and caring for him. They even fit him in on short notice when he got very ill and arranged for his admission into the ER in Leesburg for more extensive care. His diagnosis was a mystery for a while, but finally the veterinarians figured it out and have him on a treatment plan that works. Specifically, Dr. Monahan and Dr. Tohill have been outstanding. They were both checking in on Apollo and making sure he has been doing well. Dr. Tohill is very good at giving explanations and answering all of the questions I have.

I visited Chantilly Animal Hospital for the first time based upon the recommendation of one of the physical therapists at Fair Oaks Orthopedics. I was very impressed with the staff, the veterinarian and my ability to make an appointment that fit my schedule. In addition, to providing caring, compassionate care, I was surprised to learn my first wellness visit, except for the fecal parasite test, was free! In addition to going over the records they received from his former vet, we discussed what procedures, if any, I wanted this time. I'm delighted to have made the change and look forward to returning next year for Jerry's annual visit!

We were so touched when reading a letter from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine had received a charitable donation in loving memory of our Leelee from Chantilly Animal Hospital. It was due to their efforts that gave us an extra year with our precious girl.

I had a issue with my dog coughing and sneezing very bad, I tried to get him in 3 to 4 different vets in the area and I was turned away do to not having an appointment. The normal veterinary clinic I use was about 30 to 40 minutes away and I didn't have time to get there, Chantilly Animal Hospital took him in and he was able to see the doctor. Very professional, the doctors answer all the questions and spend good amount of time explaining and talking about issues. Staff is very nice. I will definitely use this hospital again.
