Dr. Taylor and the staff at VCA Chantilly were very accommodating and responsive when our 10 yr old cat Leo, suddenly became very ill. We were able to bring Leo to VCA very quickly and Dr. Taylor immediately began diagnosing Leo and allowed me to see ultra sound, x-ray, and blood results in real time rather than have me wait in the waiting area. We really appreciated how accommodating VCA was in helping us figure out what was happening to our furry friend. Unfortunately, we quickly learned our loving companion had internal bleeding that likely was caused from a ruptured tumor and with very limited options we had to make a very sad decision to end his suffering during our unexpected visit to VCA. We are still mourning but we are very thankful for the compassionate staff at VCA who were on duty at the time we had to say goodbye to our friend and family member, Leo.

Super engaging. They take the time to explain everything they are doing, why etc. Definitely didnt feel like my puppy was just a #. I would highly recommend them!

I guess you could say that CAH is like my second home. For more than 20 years CAH has been taking care of my Labs--19 of them! From routine care to complicated procedures, the staff has always been there to provide the best medical care along with lots of TLC for human and dog! They are the best!

We say our lab puppy loves VCA Centreville so much that we took him there 3 times in one week (two vet visits and boarding). So far we are very happy with VCA. They are professional, trustworthy, and took great care of our puppy when we boarded him for a family trip.

doctors are good , but the staff are so rood and not helpful , watch it when it comes to payment , they let your pet to die first , they think about their payment first, they are careless people

My cat Kofi was a patient at VCA for 1.5 years. I gave this place a chance for as long as I could. This is a great place if you need shots and general care for your pet. If your pet develops a CHRONIC issue, this is not going the best place for your pet to get the attention they need to get better. They are too busy and overrun to listen to your needs and concerns. They put a bandaid on the situation and move on. They mean well, but they are just too busy since they are corportate run and not privately owned. My cat developed a serious skin condition, they did what they could and I decided to see a feline only clinic instead. This clinic unfortunately over perscribed some medications and my cat became severly underweight (6.5 lbs due to over medicating Atopica). I switched vets and we weened him off the drug and placed him on a appetite stimulant and medication for a GI tract issue. This practice knew about my cats problems for 5 months and never once voluntered to do a standard blood panel on the animal to see if there were any internal issues contributing to his problems. My new vet decided this was needing to be done to weed out this as problem and to get this off my mind as a concern. The last few months have been a nightmare dealing with this clinic and being scared sick about losing my best friend. My cat is better now after leaving this place and I unfortuntely did not have a good experience here.

I am a first time dog owner and VCA Centreville has been outstanding. From the customer service over the phone to the Vet and her patience with my numerous questions, they have been amazing. I can't say enough nice things about them.

Full disclosure - I'm an obsessive dog mom. I have a very high expectation of service when it comes to my babies (way higher than I have for my own personal health/wellness). Since moving to NOVA 6 years ago I have been through 6 vets. Dr. Pollock at VCA was recommended through the rescue I adopted from and volunteer for. We had some issues with a positive heart worm test and dealing with the company that makes the preventative my dog is on. I cannot tell you how much time Dr. Pollock spent on the phone with me and the Vets at the heart worm preventative company, without the slightest hint of annoyance. Unlike my last vet, her advice was reasonable and informative. For example my dog, like most of us, needs to lose weight. We tried to put her on "high quality" food before and it messed with her digestive system. Our last vet just insisted we switch foods. Dr. Pollock suggested staying with the same brand but switching to their weight control formula, which worked! It's the little things like this that have such a big impact. Like it or not, Dr. Pollock is stuck for life with this obsessive dog mom!

We had to find a new vet after losing confidence in our previous veterinarian practice we had been using for 16+ years. Dr. Chris Vanderhoof is absolutely AMAZING!! He is kind, compassionate, patient, and very thorough. Although I have yet to meet him in person due to Covid-19, we love Dr. Vanderhoof!!! He did a great job of answering all my questions and treatment options so I am comfortable with our plan for our fur baby, Sprinkles. Dr. Vanderhoof goes above and beyond what I expect from a veterinarian! I cannot express how thankful I am to have found him. I highly recommend VCA Centreville to anyone looking for a veterinary center that cares for both animals and their human parents!

I like the staff and everyone except the manager. My dog is sick and I called in and wanted to speak to her but said I have to wait until tomorrow that she can’t attend me today.

I feel so grateful to have found this place! Robert Cullen, DVM is truly remarkable. He is the first veterinarian that I have ever had that always takes his time answering ALL my questions and he is extremely thorough which puts me at ease. I never feel rushed when I am here. They are always so patient and understanding and supportive. All the DVMs here are great! I have had dogs all my life and I have been to several veterinarians in the Virginia area. This is the only one where the prices are reasonable and the staff in INCREDIBLE! I mean you really get it all here. I feel so safe knowing my baby (4 yr old Great Dane) is being taken care of by such amazing people. They truly make you feel welcomed and accepted. They always go above and beyond. Even from when you first walk in the door, to when you meet with the veterinarian, to when you are finished. I can't illustrate how pleased I am with everyone here. THANK YOU!

Great doctors, but this place is never on time. Always add at least another 30 minutes on to each appointmemt.

This establishment has been our vet for over 13 years now. They have seen us through the deaths of our senior cats, kitten care, and a needle swallowing surgery. They have been patient, reliable, and calm with both our cats and us! They offer boarding, most medications, Royal Canin prescription diets, and cat only rooms. During the pandemic, they are doing curbside service.

Had a horrible week husband almost had his leg cut off in a work accident and all the other chaos life throws at you my baby boy wasnt doing well. He was old and not really comfortable so I knew it was time was short. Like I said the week was bad and was waiting on payday but he couldnt wait. I called and between sobbing and apologizing I got the story out including no money till payday. They said that's a conversation for another time and to bring him immediately. I pull up and they were waiting outside for me. Dr. Nichol came in and explained every step. Weekie wasnt in pain just not feeling well, after the xrays they found multiple tumors and we knew we couldnt cure it just would prolong the inevitable. We decided to say goodbye on a good day then wait on a day when he was in pain. Dr Nichol was right there she explained everything and helped his passing and was calming us down too. She was crying right along with us. He wasnt just some cat to her she honestly cared even though she just met him. If you are looking for a new Vet she is the one you want. Thanks so much

I paid more than $20 for 2 tablets of Trazodone. In google, you can easily find then $0.19 per tablet. Do not ever buy anything here.

Absolutely Terrible - Minor Chronic Illnesses Dismissed

This place is amazing!!! They got our puppy in for an emergency immediately and the customer service was incredible. Happy to say that everything turned out fine thanks to their talented doctors and caring team. THANK YOU!!

Brought my pug here after moving to the area and having a horrible vet in my previous location. They accommodated our emergency appointment right away, and everyone we encountered were so nice. I saw Dr. Pollock and she was extremely thorough, professional, and pleasant. Answered every single one of my questions confidently and as detailed as she could. She went over every option possible, then told us what she would recommend. At my last vet, I felt like all recommendations were just to get money, but here I felt like her recommendations were genuine and she would recommend it for her own animal. I appreciate how awesome VCA was with my first visit. We will definitely be staying with Dr. Pollock!

I can not recommend this practice highly enough. I took one of my 17 year old cats in to be seen, and unfortunately made the choice to put her down because her quality of life was in decline. The staff was very sympathetic and kind, the vet who treated her was knowledgeable and straightforward. Dr. Vanderhoof was amazingly patient with my kids’ presence during the first visit (I didn’t have time to find a babysitter), and was so gentle with Minion during the exam and during the process of putting her down. I just wanted to say thank you to your team for their kindness and professionalism. I picked up her ashes, collar, and paw prints today and was touched by the care taken with her remains. Thank you for treating her with such kindness and making the loss a little more bearable for our family. We’ll be bringing her brother to you for his check-ups from now on.

Just had my appointment this morning and we loved it! Not pushy at all with extra vaccinations and really listened to us. We went to centreville square previously and they wouldn’t listen to what we were saying and ignored the fact our dog doesn’t like to be constrained. When we went to VCA they were nice and listened to us about our dog and how she reacts. Will be sticking with this company!

We are new to the area and came here because we found a coupon for free first visits. Dr. Pollock was super knowledgeable and listened to and acknowledged my concerns. Great first impression! Would recommend.
